General RP The CEOs girl (open)

Mira hadn’t always had an easy life. She had grown up in foster care, bouncing from one home to the next. Some of these homes were fine but others were hell to live in. Mira had come out of foster care with more scars than she wished to talk about, but, there had been one shining light in that time. Her only friends brother who was five years older, he always treated her kindly as if she actually meant something which was a nice change in her life.

Even though she wouldn’t admit it, she had a crush on him. After she had finished school she began working at a diner to support herself, and while it wasn’t an amazing job it allowed her to rent a small apartment. She stayed working at the diner until she was twenty-one when she applied to be the personal assistant to a CEO of a large company. She hadn’t been expecting to get the job since she had no experience in it but she had been pleasantly surprised when she found out that she had the job.

Mira learnt quickly and had been working as a personal assistant for three weeks when she was called into her bosses office. Dressed in tightly fitted jeans, black kitten heels and a form fitting while long sleeved shirt she walked up to the office door. Mira always made sure that every part of her skin that had scars from her childhood, and her abusive relationships, were completely covered as she didn’t like people staring at them. Knocking she waited patiently until she heard a voice behind the door call for her to come in, opening the door and moving inside Mira softly closed it behind herself.

It was the first time she had been in the office and she took in the large mahogany desk, massive windows and the seating area off to the side before she looked back at the desk and at the man that sat there. Raising a brow she couldn’t help but think that this man looked like her old crush, albeit a few years older, clasping her hands in front of herself Mira waited for the man to finish the phone call he was on.

Once he had hung up the phone Mira shuffled her feet slightly, “You wished to see me?” She spoke softly. Mira had always spoken softly, a habit she had learnt in foster care so not to draw unwanted attention to herself. As she stayed stand where she was she couldn’t help but wonder if this man was indeed her old friends brother or just someone who looked like him.
