Fantasy RP The Enemy of My Enemy is My Lover (Crow)

In a world full of kings, mages and monsters— there were kingdoms who needed alliances, especially in the hardest times of the year, when resources were scarce, so forming political bonds were beneficial. But not for one individual in particular.

A princess had been married off to a tyrant of a king, who was known for his cold heart, and overall rude demeanor. He also had several concubines but no legitimate heirs to the throne. Well, none that he would acknowledge. There had been one, a prince born to his first wife. But the prince had been demoted to knight and forgotten about. The prince especially hated his father, considering it was him who drove his mother to kill herself. His father had married his mother purely out of convenience, but when he no longer needed her, he had casted her aside.

But for now, he would lay low, plotting silently for his revenge, and potential coup.

Yet, when he found out his father was to remarry, it would become a shock to him— he didn’t think his father, for as old as he was, wanted to remarry. But of course his father wanted another son, and that enraged the young prince more. This woman who his father had married posed as the very threat that could undo his plans at any given moment.

Katherine hated the kingdom she had been married off to. She hated how her father had traded her without a second thought, but she knew why he had done it. It was so that their kingdom would not starve this upcoming winter. But why her of all people? She was the youngest! And at barely 20 years old, she would be surprised if she lived another 2 winters.

The king she had married spent no time hesitating to deflower her, and demanded to know exactly when she bled and if she continued to bleed, he would keep ‘breeding’ her until she no longer bled. She knew if she didn’t produce an offspring for him, her use would be no longer and the king would discard her. To which she wouldn’t mind, but that meant her family’s kingdom would also be in danger, and as much as she hated this, she would hate to see her family suffer because of her actions.

She had passed by the guards one day, and she could’ve sworn one was glaring at her through the helmet he wore. She wondered why that guard in particular seemed more cold than the others, but as she headed to her room, she hoped the king wouldn’t be there this time.

(@Crow I set up your character a little as well, if that’s okay!)
