Fantasy RP A fallen king and a stolen bride (angelica)

She gasps, squirming to his touches “you ruined my wedding day so there is no wedding night!” Pushing his hands away. “You already had a bite, dont you remember!?” Raising her voice at him. She wasn’t going to just give him her virginity easily. Bea was still convinced he was going to eat her “and it matters that you are drunk. You said another womans name!” Shaking her head.

He would give up all to easily, laying back down in the bed. "You're right. I'm sorry" he said looking remorseful for just a brief moment before turning his head. "It's not just another woman. She was the one, my own bride. But her family was upset. Her brother refused to allow her to have the child of the evil king. So I took his bride years later. An eye for an eye"

Still in his lap she watches him lie back admit the true answer of why she here, he could not have his love so why allow the Prince the same. She swallows nervously, reaching out to pet his chest “Didnt think she was” smiling a little. “You get some sleep, your hangover is gonna suck tomorrow” crawling from his lap to lay beside him. He didnt seem so scary right now, just hurt and lost which she bet will change by morning.

"Thank you bea" he said before closing his eyes, passing out shortly after. Sure enough his hangover would suck the next day. As soon as he woke he rushed to the bathroom, retching up everything he had to drink and eat the night before.

It took him a few minutes to realize where he was, who he was with. His face was plastered with worry as he wondered if they slept together. Sure thay was what he alluded to wanting yesterday but not when he was drunk, not like this

For some time Bea watched him sleep being so close to him like this allowed her to grow more comfortable. Soon enough she fell asleep too curled up with a pillow, still in her clothes, revealing clothes.

The following morning she felt him get out of bed, the sound of his puking was what woke her up. She rubs her eyes with a soft groan, sitting up to stretch her body awake. When he came out she saw his expression “we didn’t do anything, you just didn’t want to leave” she reassures him. “Why drink so much though?” She questions him.

He would look relieved for a moment until she started to question him, clearly not remembering last night after the drinking. "Why do you have to ask so many damned questions? You certainly are a nosey little snake aren't you?" He growls at her before going to get dressed. "They day that you were supposed to gain something just happens to coincidence with the day I lost something" he replied not realizing he already told her a bit about clare.

Just as she predicted he went back to a cold jerk once he sobered up, she huffs shaking her head. Bea turned over aggressively, pulling the blanket over her head, get some more sleep. She didnt like he got drunk her first night in his castle and how diffierent his personality of sober and drunk were. What was he hiding ?

Flinching to the air hitting her when he yanked her blanket away, pouting as she sat up. She sighs wishing she could skip breakfast but pissing him off did not seem like a safe decision. “ l will be there” she tells him, walking over to her closet. Pulling on a sweater and shorts that actually could handle her tush.

He wore a fresh change of clothes, ones that continued to accentuate his fine physique. His side was full of meat dishes this time but no deer head or anything resembling her kind. Before she walks in she would hear laughter from him as he is talking to one of the servants of the estate, seeming to drop the cold, sinister tone when she wasn't around

He didn't mention that her prince was probably already moving on with his true love. That is of his suspicions about the prince was correct. This was to punish the prince not her so why would he keep her forever? She would never feel for h8m the way she does her prince, she would never replace Clare.

"Fine" he gets up gingerly offering his hand to the stolen bride "come along then little snack"

"I keep a small staff, not many choose to live in these woods. Everyone else lived in the small village near the castle" he says as he takes her out to the castle grounds. He could catch the scent of her heat but would try his best to ignore it. He would have to keep her close for a while till it goes away. He didn't want her to be attacked by the more wild citizens of his kingdom.

Gathering his staff was small but beings living in the forest around them felt strange. She inhales a breath finding it refreshing outside even in the shadow woods. “Hard to keep others around when shadows want them out” she comments. Bea eyes the tall wolf wishing to know more about him but his heart and mind were taken. It would be hard to break down those walls.

"Yes the shadows. The monsters that are contained to only this forest. You aren't the only one a prisoner in this castle, these woods." He spoke, stopping himself from saying anything more. However there was a pang of pain and sadness in his words.

He would lead her first to a large garden, the first thing of any true color to be seen in these woods. "This is the jewel od the castle. A garden that I now tend to alone"

Bea pondered his way of words for a short time, once entering the garden she was entranced by its beauty. She gasps, eyes wide as she hurries to adorn every flower and greet each with a gentle sniff. “All this yourself? My hard work it must be” she beams, finding it interesting he tends to plants so fragile and vulnerable.

"I only tend to them. The garden was started by someone else, a woman named Clare" there it was again, the fleeting softness in his voice, particularly when he spoke the name. "I prune, water and clip them occasionally. It's the one task I dint let the others do" he says as he collects a purple flower moving to tuck it in her hair/fur

Standing up from a kneeling position she blushed when he placed a flower behind her ear “you do well” she praises. A man able to tend a garden a beautiful as this paid attention, he listened and gave solutions when necessary. “No one will size up to her I bet” she comments. She brushes the flower he placed upon her, smiling a little to such a pretty present.

Around them on the out skirts of the castle grounds were the creatures of the shadow forest. They sensed new prey, a fresh beauty of purity just out of reach.

"No one will replace her. But that doesn't mean that those in the present can't move on, find someone or something just as amazing to fill the void left." He would look at her, smiling for a moment before shifting moods. His ears would flatten and he would bare his teeth, looking towards the nearby treeline, a warning to the beasts watching. "Perhaps we should head back inside my little snack, weather doesn't look friendly today"

Bea felt a flutter in her chest to find his words comforting, her presence wasnt annoying but maybe filling this void. Her smiles brightened when he smiled at her but his mood swung like changing winds. Looking toward the forest she felt eyes on her, happy to obey she follows him back inside. “They wont enter the castle, right?” Wishing for clarification.

"Most won't." He says taking her inside. "I should clarify, those thay your kingdom calls shadows are basically just criminals. Those with dark powers that have been banished to the woods. Powers similar to mine. Most fear me and as long as you stay in the castle or near me they will leave you alone. However, there are a few, three that come and go as they please without fear of me. You will know them when you meet them, don't run and don't accept any deals they give you. Just stay silent and they will leave" there was more that he was leaving out, much more but she wouldn't be hear more than a week so it didn't matter

Within the walls of the castle she felt safe from prying eyes but his words were almost reassuring. Bea nods her head in understanding “so I have seen the garden, my room, and the dining hall. What else is there I may see in your home?” Changing the subject. He may be hiding far more information but she found it difficult to get anything out of him. Least he didnt seem to react to her heat.

"Well there is the master bedroom, my current room, both off limits to you little snack." He said sternly as he takes her down a hall. At the end was a pair of large twin doors that he opened. On the itherside was a large library filled with books and on one side was large windows looking out into the garden. There in front of the windows was trashed paint canvases and painting supplies strewn across the room. "Sorry about the mess, I haven't cleaned it up yet'

Couldn’t help the glare sent his way, why would she want to go into his room, still ticked he came into hers uninvited. Bea stares up at the doors they came upon, smiling to the library opened before her. Walking inside she hums enjoying the sight of books until seeing the disaster of a painting. “What was this supposed to be?” She asks.
