Fantasy RP A House Full of Desires

Toru let her say her goodbyes, whilst he laid a small bundle of gold , a meager loan in the eyes of anyone who had any good amount of it, but it was taken away for the books. He tried to hold himself to his small handle of formality, leading Hitomi and Umeko outside to a small wagon, though there wasn't any horse. He lifted Umeko gently, handldking herblike the rarest and most fragile thing on the earth to set her inti the cart. With in it was padded with cloth and strawman, fir both of them to get comfortable. He didn't reach to handle Hitomi so intimately, but he did hold out his arm to steady her upon his sturdy frame in case she needed assistance. Soon enough he grasped the wagon by its leading handles heating it to draw it kn his own to ferry them away.

The tall buildings full f beautiful women disappeared as Toru continued on his way. The intoxicating smells of perfume and incense turned into smells of grass and rain. Umeko took in her surroundings with astonishment while Hitomi slept peacefully in the back. “It’s breathtaking..” Umeko said as the wind brushed throughout her hair. She couldn’t describe what she was feeling, it was almost as if the tension and anxiety that was built up throughout the years flew away.

The country side opened up before them, quiet enough, the roads carved by cart and grass cutters, pounded into dirt. The farmers that dotted the grasslands in their plots hustling and keeping their work. Some seeing Toru and recognizing him, waving to him or calling out in passing. As they approached the woods that Toru worked in as a cutter, Umeko felt the shade protecting her from the overhead sun, and providing a break from the wind. A handful of houses and huts were dotted through, but Toru's family home seemed to be deeper in with the thicker trees. A flat building, raised and kept with a careful hand. It wasn't an estate, perhaps enough for small family, but Toru would handle that In time.

She picked a leaf off of a tree and examined it then let it go, watching it float through the air. Umeko scooted to the front and gave Toru a kiss on the cheek then sat back down. Once they made it to Toru’s home, she stepped down off the wagon and looked at it in awe “I’ve never seen a place Soo small, it’s…perfect”

Umeko smiled then turned back to the wagon and gently shook Hitomi awake then walked to the front door and opened it, taking her shoes off and stepping inside, walking around and taking in the interior of the house. Hitomi went in as well and ran to the backyard, amazed at the view of the land.

The interior of the home was simple, honest as Toru's average life, the floors straw mats padding and covering any potential drafts from the raised foundation. The center of the floor was a cut fire pit with a shapped vent way to carry any smoke out of the home. The windows were raising slats that hooked up in place. A set of pillows set aside, resting mats, and a cut cradle was in the works upon a working table. A woodcuttung Ace was propped up on the wall by the door, glinting. A small farm plot was out back amongst the trees, and the food stores were close by. Toru moved up behind Umeko.

Hitomi came downstairs and slipped her shoes on “I’m gonna check out the shops, I’ll be back” she said then left without another word. Umeko made her way to the backyard then sat down , letting the wind brush against her skin. She seemed at peace yet there was still a bit of shock in her face

“When I was younger, I couldn’t go out during the day. My form was incomplete and I knew if I tried to, I’d be hunted and killed so I never went out. When I joined the brothel it was like I was back in that cave except it was full of fancy furniture and luxurious perfumes then a man of great value and kindness stepped into my room one day and changed my life for the better” Umeko said, looking up at Toru, flashing a small smile

"A warrior then" Toru said as he shifted his hands, putting his hands on her as she steadied herself. His large hands stroking her back. "A bedroom is a tad presumptuous, we only have the main space" He said with a laugh. "I told you, I live quite a simple life. "

“Yeah, The villagers are nice, this one boy-“ Before Hitomi could finish Umeko’s head turned quickly “Boy? What boy?” a mixture of concern and excitement was in her voice as she asked. Hitomi rolled her eyes and helped put the food away “It’s nothing, just a boy who sits by the river throwing rocks, i didn’t get his name”

“He was crying, he shared with me that his father told if he didnt become a man he couldnt come home” Hitomi continued “His father was making him kill a bird for dinner and the boy didnt want to so i knocked the bird out and swapped it with a skinned duck. The boy was grateful and bought me all this stuff”
