"You can sleep all you want champ-" he whispered as he hugged her back, squeezing her gently enough.

She was already asleep even as he hugged her close, and asleep she'd remain for a few hours, until she opened her eyes and looked around, finding herself still on a hospital bed, just elsewhere within the building "Huh... Boonie, you here?" She called softly.

Boon stepped up to the side of her bed, her hospital room...was more akin to a suite, top top of the line ofcourse with the degrees if influence at the team's finger tips even the food delivery wS higher scale. "I'm here." He said, cupping her cheek. "How are yiu, champ?"

She gave a relaxed sigh as he approached, smiling back to him "Still a little sore... But... happy." She replied to him, moving a hand to take his "And... pretty hungry, really."

"Oh? I got plenty of food for you! What do you want?" He said asvhe started to turn around to pull over a full stack of berry bouquets. "We even have Slow Poke Tail filets""

"Slow Poke tail... I thought those were banned?" Mary asked softly, even as she reached for her favourite berries, Sitrus. Soon, she was munching her way through the sour treat, loving every second of it.

"It's not wholly illegal, it's ethical tail from Slowbros" He said as he took another berry to munch. He picked up a hand full of her favored berry, placing it on her tongue.

She held her mouth open as he placed the berry on her tongue, before biting down early and spattering his hand with the juices "Mmm, Oops." She teased, before tilting her head "Ethical? Mmm, maybe I'll try it..."

"Careful- if you cover my in juice, you'll have to lick it off!" Hecteased back. "As hecwiped his hand clean. "he shifted sround, dotting in her closely as he sliced up the tail, offering it to her.

She laughed a little, watching him slice up the tail and reaching out to take a slice, biting it and chewing for a minute as she considered its taste "Mm... no, I don't think I like that... Too bitter."

"Heh, it's a more acquired flavor." He said as he dipped another in a spicier berry to eat. "It absorbs berry flavors well."

"Oh?" She took another piece and dipped it into a paste of Sitrus Berries, taking another bite and humming to herself with a slight frown "Hmm..." She hummed as she considered it, before placing it back down with a shake of her head "Still... No, I don't think I'll eat more..."

Boon leaned forward. "Don't stress yourself on it." He said said swipping another cut through her berry paste and eating it. "You'll change your milk flavor if you stress" He teased a little

She rolled her eyes with a joking sigh "Oh, and that would be dreadful for you, hmm?" She teased him back, moving to kiss his nose, even as she took another Sitrus berry, chomping down on it and squirting juice over him.

"I'll have to drink it to check, gotta keep my calcium up." He said as he felt the juice splash on him, he smirked and leaned closer pulling at his collar. "Ah- you did it again!"

"Oh? And what're you gonna do about it?" She replied, smirking as she met his eyes "Especially now I can start training again... I'm gonna get better than you and beat you, again and again and again..."

Boon smirked at her as he neared her, slipping a hand behind her head, pulling her lips against his neck. "Then we will see what comes. I don't intend to be gentle just because you're my mate you know? " He said

“Good. Cause I won’t be either.” She replied, planting a kiss onto his neck “I’m gonna fight just as hard as you want. Then I’m gonna win.”

"Perhaps I've collected more secrets hm?" He teased as he let her taste the juice on his skin. "I suppose I'll have to be your training partner before I'm your opponent "

“Well duh. I’ve been stuck in bed with you eggs so long…” she replied, lapping the juice up, even as she spoke “It’s only fair you let me get back to training.”

"Our eggs" He sa corrected, his lapping making him suffer slightly, stroking her head. "And I spent as much time with you as I could..." He said as he lifted his head. Ofcourse he wanted more time with her but such was the life of a champion.

She sighed softly as she nuzzled his neck, moving to kiss him again "I know honey. I know... Which is why I want to fight too... I can be their warmup, and only if they beat me do they get to fight you..."

"Mm...if they get passed you, they will regret it." He mumbled as she kissed him, tilting his head to kiss her back, holding her closer, deepening it.

She smiled, letting him tilt her head as he deepened the kiss, her arms moving around him to hold him close "Mmm, Boonie... I can't wait to fight again..."

"Then rest well, I'll make. Sure. You. Work hard." He whispered, pausing with each word to kiss her oword by word. He pecked her softly on the neck. "No excuses either-"

She blushed a little at each kiss punctuating a word, before nodding to him "I will... I'm gonna be stronger than ever before, all for you..." She replied, even as Boon's phone would buzz, a message from a number he didn't know. "Hey... I'm sorry this is kinda out of the blue, but... my name is Shade. You helped Azure save me... I just wanted to say thank you, and... ask if you'd train me, to protect myself?"

"Mm I still have high expectations for your production of Calcium too!" He teased briefly but the message distracted him. He looked at his phone. He furrowed his brow slightly in thought. Afterall he wasn't a self defense teacher...then again, it wasn't just about defense or dekaying until tge authorities came. I can see what you are capable of. We can schedule a meeting in private.

Mary laughed softly, shaking her head "Don't drink all of it... our babies will need some too..." She teased him back, before watching him using his phone "What is it?" She asked, even as it buzzed again "Thank you so much."

"Uh, That girl of Azure's the one I helped out, she wants some fighting training. " He said as he shifted his hand, showing it to Mary. "I just agreed because....I know she needs it." He said with a slightly sigh.

Mary tilted her head before smiling as he spoke "Well, that's really kind of you." She replied, moving to pull him into a kiss "I remember when you would've just told her to fuck off..."
