Derek struggles to keep himself from laughing. "While Demi sounds like you, Kas sure seems to act like you."

Demi laughs and shakes her head. "Well I say you're heavy when your dead weight."

Derek looks down and shakes his head. "I can't stand when that boy is swung around like a sack of potatoes....makes me think he is going to go flying into a damn tree or the wall."

Kas glares at Demi and huffs, pulling away.

Derek nods and holds Kalin back gently. "I know, I just...get nervous."

Demi giggles and places her hands on her hips. "We good now?"

Demi rolls her eyes and walks into her room.

Derek nods and lets out a long breath. "I think that might be a good thing for him."

"I know, but what of he snaps on someone? It could end badly if you or I aren't there."

Kalin nods, "I know. And he keeps saying he wants to go to public school, make some friends."
