General RP Damnit, There's Kids Now! (Firestarter)

Derek laughs and nods, feeling the affects of parenting as well. "Me too baby. We both need a long night of warm cuddles and sleep."

Kalin smiles at Derek and leans into him, mumbling softly. After the two get home, Kalin goes straight to the bedroom, stripping down and face planting into bed

Derek smiles and shakes his head as he slowly undresses. Moving their dirty clothes to the hamper, Derek climbs into the bed and pulls Kalin into a warm cuddle while throwing the blanket over the top of them. "Good night, my little minx."

Kalin immediately cuddles up to Derek, nestling against him. He tucks his head against Derek's shoulder, and slowly falling asleep, "G'night, wolfie-"

Derek presses a soft kiss to Kalin's forehead and smiles before slowly falling asleep.

In the morning, Kalin wakes up at his usual thirty minutes after Derek and goes to the kitchen to make breakfast so it's ready when the other is done with his workout. He's quiet and sleepy, but eventually plates the food

Finally finishings his work out, Derek walks out and sniffs the air with a wide smile on his face. Having already showered and dressed for work in a pair of black slacks and a sleet gray button up, Derek combs his fingers though his hair before wrapping his arms around Kalin from behind. "Breakfast smells amazing baby, thank you."

Kalin nods, and leans back, "Mmph. I really need to stop thinking you're hot in your work clothes." He mumbles.

Derek chuckles and nuzzles his face into the crook of Kalin's neck, "Why is it a problem to like how I look in my work clothes? Is it because you want me to wear them while I fuck you?"

Derek laughs and pulls away before sitting at the table. "You know I'm right!"

Kalin stares at his plate, not moving and dead silent for fear of pouncing on Derek twenty minutes before the other needed to leave.

Derek goes to take a bite before seeing Kalin, chuckling softly and shaking his head, "Eat, my darling. I need you stay strong so you can handle me."

"Just-" *He holds up a hand, taking deep breaths before walking to the table and sinking into his seat. "Mmph. . ."

Derek smiles and continues eating his breakfast. "Are you sure you'll be okay with the kids all day baby?"

Kalin sighs and leans back, "Definitely not. That's why I'm kidnapping Trenton to help. Just text me when you're almost done with work so he can go get you." He bites into his breakfast sandwich.

Derek nods and takes a deep breath. "You know that if anything happens, i will be home in a heart beat."

Kalin nods, "I know, babe. Please, don't worry. We took all the same parenting classes and everything. I'm just anxious." He stands and kisses Derek's cheek.

Derek smiles and wraps an arm around Kalin's waist, pulling him close. "I know, baby. I'm nervous as well."

"I love you too baby." Finishing his breakfast, Derek takes his plate to the sink before making sure he has his keys, phone, and wallet.

Kalin bites his lip, looking at Derek. He takes a deep breath, running his fingers through his hair, "Have a good day at work. And don't forget that file I made for you for your meeting today." He turns away.

Derek frowns a little and walks up behind Kalin, pulling him into a warm hug. "I love you. You've got this. You're family is also here to help. I'll be home as soon as I can."

"Get, no, remember what I told you about coming home early? Don't do it. It sets a bad example. No way are your workers going to want to do their jobs if you don't do yours." He kisses Derek quickly. "Be home at your regular time. Else you're not getting your desert tonight."

Derek smiles and laughs softly, "Of course baby. I'll be a good boy for you." He kisses Kalin softly once more before turning and reluctantly walking towards the car.

Once Derek arrives at work, he huffs and rolls his shoulder's before walking into his office. His one assistant, probably the 20th in the last couple months, was starting today and he wasn't looking forward to it.

Kalin hums, deciding to give his mom more time with the kids and just pick them up after taking lunch to Derek. He spends the morning hanging out with Trenton, cause the poor guy probably gets bored standing around all day.

Eventually, he starts making lunch for Derek.

At the office, Derek struggles to remain calm. His new assistant, Dolly, was driving him insane with her life story about how she worked so hard to get where she was today and that he should be grateful he found her. The fact that she had the audacity to boast about herself was enough to make Derek want to fire her.
