Anyways,

It's not that bad for the time being but I promise you that I will get our Mansion looking like it kinda did (our old style is obsolete now and this is EXACTLY why I was avoiding updating everything.)

I spent the last two years perfecting the design and one major update just trashes it all LOL

I knew this would happen, but oh well.

For now, we will have to use this style until I get other things up and running. So bear with me on this for a bit, I appreciate it!

UPDATE 12/9/24

I have contacted the person who made our last design, and it was last updated in February of this year for version 2.2.15, and now we're running Xenforo 2.3.4. Even tho the purchase expired, our theme held strong for a few more months, until, well now, I don't even know if version 2.2.15 can be compatible with 2.3.4, I highly doubt it.

But, if the creator agrees to update our theme, it will be good again for another year - and RP Mansion will look like it used to (but some addons are now integrated into version 2.3.4 so some functionality will go away)

Either way I am still in the looks for a different theme / style, as before the update happened I had been for a while. I finally found one that is somewhat similar in layout to our old one, albeit a bit different, it is a really cool theme. And it's customizable, thankfully.

I'm going to fix this theme to the best of my ability, and then look into a new separate, NOT OUTDATED theme to purchase lol, which will be most likely what I shared in this thread

When realization hits..

Listen, I-- As much as I love our old theme dearly, there's come a point where I realized there's just-- too many errors going on. Not to mention the justification of threads, our icons missing for the threads (even after re-enabling the addon, it's been un-maintained and no foreseeable update so far)

I tried fixing our online glow, but nothing I did to it worked, not even adding the !important by it to override other styles. So I switched back to our default one, and even inspecting the code, there's no telling how to change the color back, even identifying it in the main template. Which, you know, sucks.

Some of our addons worked with 2.2, but now 2.3 some of them have no other choice but to be obsolete, and I found out that back in November of this year, our main addons had been transferred to another creator, and I have messaged them to see if I can get our old licenses back / downloads (aka the badges and whatnot).

I can't even begin to change the navigation size, I tried where I was used to last time but alas, again nothing changed no matter what I did. Not to mention our message and notification icons are poof, and idk where they lie in the code either because it seems 2.3 is no longer using Unicode for the icons. Some icons have Unicode and some do not, especially for this style which is a real shame.

I even have the share buttons disabled in this style yet they still pop up at the end of the page. So, if anything trying to fix a broken mansion is....nearly impossible. But, I'm not going to give up hope yet. What I WILL be doing is purchasing a new style, making that our default for the time being while I try to fix this theme. So that way, ya'll don't have to live with the errors while I find time outside of my main work to fix it.

RP Mansion is something near and dear to my heart and making it look a specific way was all that mattered to me. I haven't even heard from the original creator of this theme yet, and I do not know when that will be.

I hope everyone can understand and we can push forward with changes. (Even the background chooser isn't working so...) As I hate change like most of everyone else, I really hope everyone can embrace the new changes and stay here throughout them. I promise that I will continue to work and fix on our old theme as much as I am able to.

In the meantime, please be patient, and willing to work with me.

AYO WTF so I downloaded / purchased a new theme and our layout is inherently fucked still. I cannot create a new forum and am running into MORE errors. I thought disabling all of our addons would help but alas, nope. so. Who knows at this point T-T I created TWO separate support tickets and...yeah. Now it's just a waiting game lol

It is now the new default style of RP Mansion. I know it's not what we're used to, but hopefully our old style can come back with a bang (somehow) and it'll be renamed RP Mansion Classic, I'm probably gonna rename this style to RP Mansion Modern tbh.

Anyways, it's not entirely finished yet, there's a lot of our addons still missing (aka colorful names) BUT once I figure out the kinks this style should be up and running somewhat smoothly in the next couple of days

And remember, I'm not going to abandon our old style, I will continue to figure out if I can save it - or find something that looks like it. But for now, you are able to choose between Apeture (Dark) as it's called rn, and Vigas - Cyan.
