Andrew was not a happy camper.
His on again, off again girlfriend had chided him for looking like a cross between a missing link and a longshoreman. Granted, he did have a beard that seemed to grow back with alarming speed and a hairy back that razors just couldn't seem to reach.
She had tried without success to go with her to salons but the idea of being treated like a woman repulsed him....Andrew was a man's man and those kind of men simply just didn't go to salons.
It wasn't as if he was a dominant personality---well, not totally anyway---her he wasn't about to placate his girlfriend by going along with her suggestions, no matter how well meaning she tried to make it sound.
It wasn't until one day she gave him an ultimatum.....do something about himself or she would work him over herself. Well, THAT certainly didn't sound good.
Andrew had some blemishes he wanted to see vanish as well, so he went on Google and finally found a dermatologist. He also happened to be a surgeon but he glanced right over it.
One morning he gathered up his nerve and went to the doctor's office, an office in one of the older uptown buildings.
After filling out the usual paperwork, he handed the clipboard back to the receptionist and waited to see the doctor. It wasn't long.
