30+ F looking for 20+ partners of all genders (prefer afab female/nb/female presenting partners)
F x M pairing with myself writing F and I don’t double
I’m an advanced lit/novella style writer. I love to write detailed descriptions and delve into a character’s head/emotions as well as surroundings. I compare it to writing a novel together.
I expect to mirror lengths (3 - 5+ paragraphs) but if there are action or dialogue heavy scenes, I tend to do a shorter back and forth to keep the momentum going.
Searching For:
A large but legal age gap with older cis-male characters 40 - 50+. I love the gruff and tough men with dark pasts (who secretly have a soft heart) falling for sweet but fiery women. My characters tend to be 25 - 35+. No submissive/damsels in distress here. I’m also more than happy to write side characters of either gender to expand the world.
I'm not looking for age play. It's a romance between two consenting adults who each act exactly their age and they just happen to be different ages.
Please no passive plotters. Play an equal role in moving the story forward and don't make me do all the work. Just agreeing with everything I say or giving me one sentence in reply to my question drives me crazy. One of my favorite things is building off each other’s ideas and creating a ‘light bulb moment’ where everything clicks into place.
Enthusiastic chatting about our characters, the ship, and worldbuilding is a must. I'm a certified yapper and would love it if you could match that energy. I can and will drop head-canons/random plot ideas at 3 AM. I also want to make pinterest boards, spotify playlists, gifs, and funny memes. I feel demotivated by a dry partner/someone who is not interested in ooc talk.
Plot before smut. While mature themes will be in my writing, there needs to be chemistry between our characters.

Modern fantasy, sci-fi, cyberpunk, southern gothic/midwest gothic, horror, height difference, enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, spooky small towns, post apocalyptic/dystopia, crime, emotionally charged/dark and gritty, opposites attract, fated mates, morally gray characters, grumpy x sunshine, cowboys, historical plots (medieval fantasy, western, 1980s) and more.
I have lots of original plot ideas in mind as well!
