For the first time, Elliot didn't resist as Sam carried him out. Lee was once again left alone with the yakuza. Not that he minded it, they knew how much he wanted to stay. It was strange after seeing his friends. They truly were determined to help him.
He didn't tear his eyes away from the passport and box as it slid over to him, silently nodding. "Yeah, yeah..." He and Elliot were too alike, it seemed. He thought Sam had a mouth on him, but Elliot surprised him. It wasn't the first time witnessing Elliot's mouth, but... he had a feeling that maybe, just maybe, Elliot was trying to swap places to save him. There was a good chance he was wrong and that Elliot was just stupid, Lee wanting to believe the latter.
Looking back, Ishida disappeared somewhere in the penthouse. Crouching down, he picked up the things that fell out of the box, putting them back carefully. There were plenty of things in the box that he hadn't seen before or for a long, long time. Standing, he wandered back into the main area of the penthouse, relieved to spot Takahashi. He quietly approached the other, sliding the box over to him, the Chinese passports sitting on top. "I just... I never knew." He had no idea what to say or think. Why keep such a thing a secret? Then again, he never understood the way his father thought.
