Vampire parties were boring, at least for humans they were, but they paid good money for those who were willing to donate their blood. That was how Avery had found herself laying on one of several tables spread throughout a large dinning room, she wore a simple floor length white satin dress, and her white hair was spread around her on the table. Men and women had been feeding off of her all night but Avery didn't mind, she was there to be food for them, the owner of the large house she was in had paid a company good money to collect humans for vampires to feed off. She didn't know who owned the house she was in, all she knew was that the party was celebrating the owner of the houses birthday.
Avery had seen the advertisement for it on a flyer that had been left at the cafe she worked at, the money was too good to pass up, she didn't know how much the company was keeping to themselves but they were giving Avery two grand just to be bitten all night. Turning her head to the right side a little Avery looked over the sea of the beautifully dressed vampires, some of them had come with their human pets and they had been dressed up so lovely as well. There was something about the sight that made Avery feel a little jealous of the humans that got to spend all of their time with vampires, they got the constant high of being fed from. This was the first time Avery had ever let vampires feed from her and the high she got when they sunk their fangs into her skin made her weak, it was so different from anything she had ever felt before that Avery knew it would be a high she would now constantly chase down.
Seeing a vampire heading for her she smiled at him slightly before he helped her sit up on the table, she had been laying down for a few hours now and being fed off so much that sitting up left her a little dizzy. Let the man help her off of the table Avery sighed softly to herself as he lead her over to a table off to the side that had been set up for the humans in the room to go to for food and drinks when they needed it, the vampire who had led her over to the table walked away leaving her there to go and check on some of the other humans.
Grabbing a glass of orange juice Avery began to sip on it slowly as she turned to look at the vampires in the room with a small smile, as her eyes slowly ran over everyone her gaze stopped on a man that looked familiar. He was someone she had seen in the cafe she worked at a few times, the last time he had been in the cafe they had talked a little. Avery was naturally a shy person so it had taken her weeks before she had even spoken to him about anything that wasn't to do with what he wanted to order, sure their conversation had been just a simple passing of her asking him how his day was going but it was still something. She also knew he was a vampire, so him being at the party didn't surprise her, and that he was old enough to move around in sunlight with little to no problems. What she didn't know was that he was the owner of the house she found herself in. Moving away from the table Avery made her way over to her mystery man who she admired from a distance, she didn't care that she wasn't wearing shoes as one of the vampires who helped her onto the table at the start of the night had taken her shoes saying she wouldn't need them for several hours. She also wasn't bothered that her neck and arms were covered in bite marks, there had been one man who had tried to raise her dress to bite her thigh but Avery had told him no and surprisingly he had listened to her.
Reaching him Avery stopped in front of him and gave him a small smile, "Hi" she started softly as she looked over him, "I didn't expect to see you here" Avery finished with a small soft laugh.
