Queen Xylina the III, protector of her people, conqueror of dragons - the myth, the legend. Everyone's heard of this so called, 'Dragon Queen' but few have ever seen her.

For decades there has been an endless war between good and evil. No matter what kind of species you were, there was always a war going on somewhere. War is once again at Queen Xylina’s doorstep and she is troubled. Her half brother sits on evil's throne and swears that one day he will rule both lands. Xylina has assembled her best fighters and is currently preparing for war. Your character either male/female, is a servant and lifelong friend of the Queen. Amongst all this chaos the Queen finds comfort that you are her friend and most trusted advisor. She comes to you again with the question; totally unrelated to the oncoming war - about her arranged marriage. Her parents, who had divorced long ago, set this up like any royal family would do and her mother insists that she needs an heir to the throne before war happens between her and his half brother. Her mother fears the worst and Xylina, who never really wanted a marriage with that beast in the first place, confides in your character, finding it difficult to ask you because, well, she doesn't want to mention that she's in love with his best friend and wishes to be with you despite on what the rules and her mother would say.

This brings us to the current scene. You're in the garden, the sunshine is floating down through the leaves of the willow tree and Xylina is on a bench with you. Her head is turned downwards and her eyes focused on a beetle moving through the grass. She had asked your opinion on what he should do about the whole marriage thing, if she should wait after the war and whatnot. Now she waits for your answer, her mind somewhat distracted by the strategy of how she should handle the oncoming war.
