Isolde took off her shoes, placing them by the doorway. The least she could do was respect the place. Then she took a seat across from where Elijah sat. "We kill vampires. We don't kill witches." She said firmly, knowing full and well who his mother was. The most powerful witch known to exist, also the ones who turned her family into vampires.
"And I did learn from my father, but he is still a better hunter than I... speaking of which..." She took her phone out, taking it in both her hands and snapping the thing after a small struggle. Normally it'd be easier, but her body wasn't exactly complying with her after the fight with Lucas. "I'll need a new one. So I can't be tracked. Also I hope this place is protected, magically I mean. The Guild does have witches at their disposal. And well, if you want me alive you don't want them to find me." She adds, placing the now broken phone in her lap.
"I appreciate the attempt to reassure me that you won't try and come for me and my blood, but it won't work. Vampires drink human blood by nature and animal blood makes them weaker...I would assume an Original such as yourself would drink human blood. After all, you wouldn't want to be weaker if you can prevent it." She knew the animal blood fact after doing some research on the Salvatore Family a while back. There was a hunter that had went out there, but he never made it back.
Eyeing him carefully, still trying to figure out any sort of ulterior motive, she quickly continued. "Also, why a Hunter? You most likely have an arsenal of vampires and witches, maybe werewolves and hybrids because of your brother, and yet you chose to come to a Hunter for help? It doesn't make sense so forgive me if I'm a little skeptical." It truly did strike her odd, and it frustrated her that she couldn't figure it out. This vampire was annoyingly difficult. He was too calm, hard to read, and clearly needed her otherwise she probably wouldn't be alive.
