Game RP The Fallen's Roses (RedCoat)

She played hard to get as he got grabby, giggling as she used her curves to bait him along, teasing him by keeping his lips too far away to meet hers as her hands brushed against his coat pockets, finding his coin purse and pressing her hand into it a little, feeling just how fat and heavy it was "Mmm... So, what were you saying earlier, about your big find? You said you'd tell me when we weren't so public..."

She paused, knowing that Marron would be able to see them, and that his coin pouch was more than enough to see them through without spending the rest of the night out searching... but in her mildly drunken state she licked her lips as he pulled her close "Mmm, really? I'd love to see it..." She murmured, using a free hand to gesture for Marron to follow them. Hopefully her sister would understand why the plan was changing... Well, when she saw the treasure, she'd have too...

Marron narrowed her eyes in the darkness, not likeling her thrist for revenge on...life would have to be put on hold. She clicked the hammer forward on the gun slowly, lurking in the pools of darkness abd slinking after them as they drunkenly moved to the dock yard. The ships were kissed by the Britney, unforgiving sea, blemished by barnacles and pitted by battles past, steel hulls that yearned for rest carried cargo untold...but on the center of the docks, Lazuli was lead onti the deck of the Night Hag. A repurposed interceptor vessel, it gaited smoke and steam from its engines humming below. "Now....just one little pop below deck...but we should get to some fun"

Lazuli nodded to him as he lead her up onto the deck, glancing around and catching a glimpse of Marron following them, even as she noted the lack of guards, both onboard the ships and on the dockside. Clearly the plan was to hide in plain sight, which considering he wasn't meant to tell her about the treasure made plenty of sense "Mmm, this looks pretty private at the moment too... I'm sure we can find somewhere to stowaway for a jaunt..." She grinned in the dark, even as he lead her down into the hold to see...

Below deck was strange ivory and gold chest...no, something larger than merely a crate, it was more like a sarcophagus. It was etched with runes and had a foreign symbol on it. Strange, well made, but he approached it. "The treasure is inside...but uh....I'll show you mine if you...show me yours."

Lazuli looked at the sarcophagus, licking her lips as her mind began to picture what might be inside, but when he spoke she met his words with a nod, reaching down to lift her skirt up and give him a view of her panties, before she then began to remove the dress entirely "Of course... it's only fair, isn't it?" She replied, gesturing for him to lift the sarcophagus lid when the dress was entirely removed, even as she knew Marron would be somewhere close by.

The sailor runs his hands over the sarcophagus, his eyes greedily eyeing her, he pushed on the lid, pushing it aside a few inches. The inside of it was gem stones, strange foreign gold coins. Jewelry, and small leather bound pouches. "It's a little trove" He said as he reached to scoop some up. The click of the hammer on the pistol started to make him turn, but Marron slammed herself against his back, burying the barrel against the back of his neck. She couldn't even start to threaten him, his arm swinging back and bowling her off him into the floor.

As he swung his arm he'd find Lazuli on his other side, having kicked off the heels she was wearing and jumped up onto the sarcophagus, her knife appearing from somewhere and pressing against his neck, the sharp metal sure to make him pause more than the click of a pistol, if he'd even truly recognised what the sound had been "Don't move a muscle..." She warned, her eyes flicking over to Marron "And maybe you'll walk away without a new smile"

As she jumped to threaten him, he grabbed at her arm and grabbing her neck, squeezing tightly. He lifted her up and slammer her down on the ground. "What are you doing- " He said as he dragged her up and slammed Lazuli's head against the steel floor.

Lazuli blinked as he didn't react how she'd expected, her eyes widening in surprise as she tried to speak, only for his hand to squeeze and cut off her words before he began to slam her down into the floor, driving what little air she had left from her body with each of them, her head clanging onto the steel deck.

As Lazuli was pinned, hee knife wretched from her grip, the next thing she heard was the bark of the gun abd ring as the shot blasted a hole in the man's temple. He reeled off to the side in a heap, his blood abd Braun matter dressing the cargohold floor. Marron pushed herself up, her smoking gun still in her hand as she took Lazuli's habd and sat her up. "Are you okay?"

Lazuli groaned weakly, a trickle of blood from a cut on her forehead slipping down her cheek "Uh... Wha... ow..." She mumbled, reaching up to rub her temple "That... hurt..." She looked down at the body on the floor, taking her knife back before looking at the sarcophagus "I guess... we need to be quick, before someone comes to inspect the noise..."

Marron dragged her hands through the spoils, shoveling out fistful of gold and gems, but felt something underneath it. A rigid thing, bigger than the other treasures. She wrenched out a bone carved statue, about a foot and a half , marked with other runic symbols. Sue pushed it into the bag quickly.

Lazuli blinked as Marron shovelled gold into the bag, before leaning in closer as her sister clearly had found something "What is... oh? Is... Nevermind" She looked down at the sailor "What about him?" She asked, even as she reached into his pocket to steal his coin purse "We could dump him over the side?"

Marron pulled put a spool of ropes throwing them out of the cargo as they dug through the shops wares and leftovers, empty canisters for whale oil were tucked away, still waiting for refill. Marron started to drag the corspe up the ships steps, looking around cautiously as she flopped the body against the lip of the ships side. And started to strap the ropes on, knotting it to him.

Lazuli followed Marron up, hefting three of the containers with her, placing them as gently as she could by Marron, opening the tops then tying her ends of the rope around the carrying handles, making sure they were secured open before she lifted them again, waiting for Marrons say so to toss them and head for the gangplank.

As they hit the small shack, a match box of a little hovel that they crawled into to avoid the claws of other gangs or worse, the building just large enough for them to keep two beds, and their rations, and a small table. Marron despised it. Just waking up in the morning made her hate the fact she was alive to look at the shanty metal roof. You could shoot a gun through the front door and shoot someone hiding behind the back wall. Marron shouldered the door open.

Lazuli followed her in, even as Marrons mood would be made even fouler by the letter that had been nailed into their small table, the small scrap of paper reading 'You still owe us 200 coin, girlies. T'morra is your last chance to pay up before Slackjaw makes your life even more uncomfortable than it already is. B S G.' Even as Marron would read it, the shame of ever needing to borrow money would add yet more sting into her already hate filled life, alongside the fear for Lazuli as to what the Bottle Street Gang would do to her. But with the money in their satchel, all they had to do was get it to the gang without getting shook down by guards or any of the other local nasties and they'd be clear. Able to put whatever money they had to not merely surviving, but reclaiming their families past.

Marron's eyes narrowedas sge tore the letter uo abd threw the bag on the table, heavy with their loot and spilling a few coins out onto the floor. "Fucking Slackjack. He should have been mauled by every fucking rat in the plague when we had it." She said coldly as she sat on the bed, she drew her gun. Opening the latch to lift the barrel and take out the other bullet and start cleaning it. She dreamed off jamming it in Slackjaws eye and pulling the trigger more than once. Having to borrow from a parasite like him, having her sister in danger, having to see nobles throwing scraps into the alleys like they were doing a favor to the poor. Doing a favor to her.

Lazuli heard the paper ripping, but she didn't say anything as Marron ranted, knowing exactly how her sister felt about the Bottle Street Gang, and Slackjaw in particular. But as Marron began to clear and clean her gun, Lazuli moved over and open the bag, sliding out the idol they'd found with a curious look in her eyes "Hey, Marr? What is this thing?" She asked, even as the pair would hear a faint whisper, somewhere beyond normal hearing, the runic symbols shifting around, but only when they weren't looked at directly, leading Lazuli to doubt if she'd seen them correctly at first as she placed it down on the table properly "It looks... weird... did we have to take it?"

Lazuli frowned a little, turning her head away to glance at the door before looking back at the idol "Its just... are you sure? It looks... it looks like the sort of thing the Overseers would burn us for..." She shivered a little, before moving it back into the bag, securing the flap and heading to sit down on her bed.
