Game RP The Fallen's Roses (RedCoat)

Marron held perfectly still, her body was slim, wiry here abd there, her muscles much more defined than an average noble woman, yet her posture and pose was perfect. The seaserpent tattoo on her shoulder coiling along her back amongst crashing waves and tumbling Finns. It was along her middle and upper back. On her front, a few scars, one on her right side, a faded stitch, a d a blotch of darkened skin on her stomach where she took a powder burn from a misfires gun to her stomach. As she was cloaked in the dress, she stared at herself, her gaze almost hardening inti steel at her own reflect. The ring in her ears whispering in her again. She was lovely...but she could have been so much more. She needed more.

Over on Lazuli's side, she was much less calm than her sister, even as the Dress originally fit her better, something about the environment made her twitchy, much more like an out of place street rat than the daughter of nobility. Unlike her sister, her Serpent was not surrounded by coin and waves, instead swimming on bare flesh, its head rearing over her shoulder whilst the body twisted down her spine, to her tailbone. There were traces of scars, cuts that hadn't quite healed, but no powder burn on her, even as she looked into the mirror and saw a complete stranger looking back at her, the only similarities her hair and face, and the outsiders mark which slid from view beneath a set of matching gloves. The moment she could, she gathered her clothes and headed to where she'd last seen Marron, needing the reassurance of her sisters presence.

As the elder sister stepped out if the fitting room, her habds covered by delicate silk bracers rather than gloves, she looked to her sister and smiled. "You look almost like a lady...." She said encouragingly. Almost. She would have to teach her class.

Lazuli nodded, trying to smile but both Lazuli and Marron would know the fear and concern behind it. She wasn't like her older sister, didn't have the upbringing Marron had had. Lazuli had learnt on the streets, and out there the kind of things Marron now had to teach would mean starvation or worse.

(XD just do what Marron did and convert all that etiquette into ruthless, merciless willingness to step on everyone else's back to carry your family back to the top.)

As sge sensed the fear, Marron's eyes steeled, her shoulder back, her chin rising, elegance wrapping itself in razors. "You have only begun. I will show you just how meant for it we are." She said as she embraced her sister. "You will never look at me like that again."

(Lazuli isn't that kind of person tho... She's way too much of a cinnamon roll for that. Even if she's mugged people, she was never planning to hurt them XD)

Lazuli swallowed as Marron steeled herself, biting her lip before nodding as she was embraced "I... Understand, Marron... I'll learn... I promise."

(Proceeds to kick him even more because the heel snapped)

Lazuli took Marrons hand, smiling softly as her sister softened slightly, nodding along to her words "Okay Marr, lets... lets make me pretty" She agreed, being met by the Clerk who had two bottles of wine and two glasses on a Tray

(XD "NOW I HAVE TO GET NEW ONES BECAUSE OF YOUR HARD ASS FACE!")

Marron took a glass with a gentle touch pausing and giving the clerk a look expectantly before he began filling it for her. She took a soft sip moistening her lips. "Hm...a Reynard?" She asked as she picked through the flavor.

"Yes Madam, of the year 1710" The Clerk responded, pouring a glass for Lazuli and handing it across. She took it slowly, raising it to sip gently, copying Marrons actions as she did so, having to restrain herself from acting like she had with the weak alcohol they'd get in bars, from men who just wanted them drunk.

Marron looked at her sister as she sipped the glass, a faint nod if approval that Her sister didn't just start guzzling it like it was a cheap beer. She lowered the glass gently . "A quality vintage. Tell me, do you handle hair and make up as well on this street." She said as she crossed her free hand under her elbow.

Lazuli copied her sisters movements, remaining quiet as the Clerk nodded to her "There are multiple such establishments. I must say madam, it is unusual to leave such matters so late..." He trailed off, before speaking again "But your business is your business. I would be happy to give you directions, once the small matter of payment has been sorted?"

The man behind the counter glanced at their dresses, then down at the gems, pulling out a few tools "If you'll give me a moment to check, madam..." He replied, retrieving the gems and checking each of them in detail, placing them into the safe and then pulling a handful of high value Finns "Covered indeed, Madam. Do enjoy your party this evening."

As the pair were catered to, Marron mood lseemed to carry itself high, her knowledge and behavior looking the heavy lifting to sell her energy as nobility. The parlor staff moving to grant them the best care, thinking their customers were higher than themselves. Marrin given vibrant, decadent jewelry and accessories, her hair pinned and braided, onto a singular tail. She looked almost akin to a grand jewel, something that demanded the eye and all its focus.

As Marron was made into the star of any show, Lazuli was being made into something smaller, her makeup enough to have her looking pretty, but nothing compared to Marrons utter demand on the viewers focus. Her hair, too short to be braided properly was simply washed and conditioned within an inch of its life, the ragged strands corralled into neatness, even as she was given jewellery to match her position as the younger of the pair, lesser amounts and of lesser attention grabbing natures.

Marron leaned forward and put her hand behind her sisters head. "Fittimg in will help you and I in very different ways. Walking among high society as we should, will make you more comfortable by giving you the ability to slip in amongst other ladies of status. You won't have to catch attention if you don't want it."

Lazuli huffed again, but nodded to Marrons words, raising her head up to look into her sisters eyes "I understand Marron... I'll try to learn." She replied to her sister quietly, moving her hands from where they were crossed, even as Marron would also realise that Lazuli's voice didn't fit either. To a street punk, she sounded the part, but in the world of the gilded nobility, she'd stand out like sandpaper in a pile of silk.
