Game RP The Fallen's Roses (RedCoat)

"Oh too good for the wealthy to give you a handful of Finns?" He said shaking his head. "Too pious to aid the poor?" He added as he saw him looking at Marron, following his eyes while she was walking towards them, laughing as she paused to admire a performer that was hired to dance for the audience. She sipped her drink, then looked over to the men.

"Do not twist my words against me." The Overseer retorted, crossing his arms even as he made a conscious effort to look away from Marron, whilst the Host would see Lazuli trailing a few steps behind her sister, bag held carefully to her side, no food or drink in her hand, her eyes kept forwards, focused on Marron.

"I trust nothing. But Your words lead to only that outcome....now if you excuse." The host said as he stepped away, moving towards the pair of sisters, his eyes dancing between them both. Marron's gold and elegance sycking up his attention , but as sge cut by him like a razor, he froze, nearly colliding with Lazuli in the process as her actions nearly caught him off ha gaurd.

Lazuli easily slipped backwards as the host stumbled past Marron, before stepping forwards through the gap he now left to stand behind Marron again, the Overseer smiling for the first time as he watched the Sisters approach. He looked at Marron first, raising an eyebrow as he spoke "Well. Hello Madam. I do not believe I have had the pleasure." He greeted her, reaching out to take her hand to kiss.

"You haven't, High Overseer." She said as she raised her hand , allowing him to kiss her unmarked hand. "Very few have had the opportunity until tonight, my family has been far from sight for far too long." She said simply as she took her hand back, giving him a polite courtesy. "Lady Marron of House Moray"

"House... Moray, you say?" The Overseer replied softly, clearly processing the name and searching his memory for where it linked "I do believe your house fell from grace after... Why, after Vera Moray disappeared, almost a century ago." He replied, even as a faint smile crossed his lips and not his eye "It is good to see you are regaining your standing, even if you have a lower class servant."

Marron smiled, but her eyes cooled a few degrees. "My Family's limitations are not my own." She said as she felt the familiar urge to break this glass and plunge the spiked stem into his throat. "And- that is an excellent drive, My Lady-" the Host cut in, flashing the Overseer a glare of warming. Not that he believed her to be a danger, but he knew a whispering rumor in the making. "If the Abbey is struggling, I suppose that our charity will matter all the more in these times..." Marron said as she set her glass on a passing Tray.

Marron narrowed her eyes as she stepped passed the Host. She already wanted to kill him before. Now she wanted to drag it out for having him turn her back on her. But she wasn't here to wet her rage in blood, even on the Overseer. "His Abbey chased a ghost during the plague and he speaks of heresies." She said under her breath

Lazuli bit her lip nervously as Marron snapped at her, lowering her head as she did so. Of course, Marron's appearance and outburst would inevitably lead to other partygoers becoming interested, including a young man who stumbled over, a drunken smile on his face "Well, hello madam... who might you be?"

"Soren Inchmouth, My dear..." He replied with a grin, his cheeks flushed slightly red from the drink as she used his intoxication to slip away from his hand. As she moved, he followed immediately, licking his lips as he misread the situation "My father is our host for tonight... Would you like to go somewhere private, so we can really get to know each other?"

"Well....that depends...I don't want anyone to find us, itvwould be so embarrassing..." She said as she drifted closer to him, letting herself sound vulnerable and yet oh so willing for his ear. Ofcourse Lazuli knew Marron was almost detached from the idea of sex or romance, they weren't real to her, the former just a con tool, the latter a illusion to put the knife into someone's back.

He shifted to her as she moved closer, his hand moving around her as he'd tried before, gently guiding her towards his own room "Well then, it's a good thing I can lock my door, hmm? No one but us will be allowed in." He promised, even as he moved to open the door for her "And whilst that dress is beautiful, I think what's under it might be even more so..."

Marron hummed as Soren spoke to her, her gaze fixed ahead as she looked into his room, already seeing things that would be nice to pick over and take. Half listening, half plotting. "I'm sure you've said that to many women." She said as she stepped inside, her hand smoothing over her hair. Perhaps the only time she ever signaled Lazuli to stand down from jumped a target. But with tye high value of the fool...she woukd have to be light handed

Lazuli was about a step away from entering the room, but when Marron gave the signal to stop she paused, confusion in her eyes even as the door swung shut infront of her, Soren locking it before turning back to Marron "Well, maybe I have... but isn't it more impolite to lie to a lady?" He asked, even as he began to remove his shirt, showing muscles that had clearly been sculpted for aesthetics, rather than through use.

"I wouldn't like to speak for others, but I have never lied to a lady" He replied as she reached out to brush his chest, his own hands moving to her back, towards the zip of the dress and it's artfully concealed location "I can only apologise that you hadn't met me yet and had to deal with such shameful liars"
