Marron walked to hee sitters side, giving her a gentle touch on the shoulder, before giving a gentle nod to the gaurd in polite thanks. She started to take her leave feeling her hearts bloodthirsty rage rest...for the moment.
Lazuli nodded at Marrons gentle touch, immediately falling into place behind her as they walked from the party, a hand supporting the bag as they walked, keeping it still so none of the items they'd stolen would make noise from the swinging.
As the two of them made their exit, slipping away from their crimes, retreating into the shadows they truly belonged to. Marron looked over her shoulder, examining things silently, in case of a tail
There was no tail, no one even gave them a second look, seeing naught but a Noble and her maid leaving a party. The corpse wouldn't be found for hours, and by then they'd be back in their own world of darkness, and besides, why would Marron even be a suspect?
Lazuli opened the satchel, looking at the collection of Gems she'd acquired with a grin before turning to Marron "We did well... We'll be rolling in Finns once we sell these off."
Marron set the paintings on a work table, unrolling them slowly. "A good start." she said simply, her expression softening slightly, in another place as she looked at the art. "More is to come..."
Lazuli nodded, even as she placed the bag down, licking her lips "So... what do we do now?" She asked, moving to look at the paintings too "That looks valuable..."
"More than the Finns they are worth. We aren't going to sell the them both. One is ours. Our legacy. Our Name." She said looking at her sister slowly. "We will have what we lost...what is in your blood."
"Oh? Okay Marron." Lazuli replied, looking at the paintings again with a confused look in her eyes, clearly not understanding what Marron meant at all.
Marron looked at her sister. "This painting." She said moving her gloved hand over the rare peice, this sliver of their family name. "Is ours, our father sold it, fool that he was. You may not feel it yet, but it is worth more than any gold."
Marron closed her eyes, taking a sharp breath, controlling no doubt as the words only cut deep to her memory. "He sold it because he was a incompetent weasel. Not even for the price it was supposed to. He sold it short just to pretend he was in control. To a den of wolves no less."
Lazuli bit her lip as Marron took the breath, immediately regretting saying anything, knowing she'd just set Marron off again and half expecting her sister to snap at her. She didn't reply to Marrons words, letting her Sister rant to her hearts content.
Marron looked her sister in the eyes. "You don't understand what it is we lost but that party- it was so much more- we had that much just to loose it to the rest-"
"Hmm..." Lazuli nodded slowly in response, still not entirely getting what Marron was saying, but knowing the easiest solution was to simply nod and agree with her.
Marron's eyes searched hers, but sighed as she looked away. "The point is...some things are worth more than the gold, and these thieves picked it from our family's bones. I thought it was lost to us.,"
Lazuli bit her lip as Marron sighed, moving closer and hugging her "I... I'm sorry I don't understand, Marron." She murmured softly, hoping the affection would make it up to her.
