"So..." Lee blinked, eying the door he and his two friends sat across from in their booth at a club they frequented, just up the stairs. "You want me to sneak in there?" He looked over to the brunette, Sam, who was nodding, then to the blonde, Elliot, who motioned toward the door. He picked up his glass, sipping at it as his eyes landed on the door once more.
"Well? What are you waiting for?" The brunette urged, gently pushing the younger male. "The owner's got some great stuff in there. Maybe even... your favorite candy." He got a little rougher, nearly shoving him out of the booth. It was all an assumption, anyway. They didn't know what the guy had in there. They figured there was plenty of money hidden in a drawer somewhere, more than they lost lately in games.
"Shut the fuck up, don't call it that." He rolled his eyes, hating his friend calling his preferred drug 'candy.' He figured the bastards wanted to pawn stuff off, get a little money. Fucking gamblers. "Why are you making me do your dirty work?"
"Because you love us. We'll kick you out of the apartment if you don't." A silly threat.
"No, you won't." Really, Lee didn't need a valid reason. He already knew, and besides, he was itching for a little high. With promises of such, he headed for the staircase, cautiously climbing them for any sign of staff. Soon, the door was in front of him and he tried the knob, finding it unlocked. He quietly opened it, peering inside the dark room. He could keep the light off and use his phone flashlight, or... His hand found the light switch, and he tried it, flipping it on. The room lit up, revealing it to be empty. Assuming it was safe, he entered the room and closed the door behind him.
The room looked more like an office than one that held many valuables. His eyes scanned over the room, not really finding much he could take. He approached the desk and began looking through drawers, looking for any little baggies or, as Sam hoped, money. He crouched down as he got to the bottom drawers, searching through them.
