Expecting pasta, pizza or even a grilled cheese but she was taken by surprise wen he suggested to make her favorite meal drawing her to raise a brow "Who says it tis my favorite meal anymore?" teasing him.
He blushed deeply from her teasing, "Well...I just wanted to make something for you I knew you'd like...but if our little one doesn't...I may have to exchange some words with them. " he said sternly, looking at her belly, but she could see the smile cracking on his expression next.
Seeing that blush made her grin, was enjoyable when able to make him squirm but then was on her when he noted their little one may change her appetite which did change her expression to a pout. "Ah yes well hopefully no worries over that for some time" reassuring quickly as she enjoyed her foods quite a bit.
He touched on her barely rounded stomach yet with his hand and he looked up at her, "Hopefully not," he echoed, looking at her lips briefly, wanting to share a kiss with her again.
Feeling his hand over her stomach caused her to flinch back from him, not use to such a gesture nor the meaning behind it. She blinks up to him with a shy smile "Sorry, I...I did" biting her lip once noticing where he was looking.
He blinked, and he carefully placed the hand there- watching her eyes. "You're alright love," He said softly, moving closer to her with his head reaching towards hers, "Are you okay though?" she would hear him ask, the way she reacted to his gesture made him worry.
She gaze dropped down to his hand, leaning her body back a little clearly uncomfortable "yeah, just not use to it" remaining still as he leans closer to her "Hard to believe we are expecting, a human being growing inside me" she murmurs.
He noticed and he slowly pulled his hand back, “I’m sorry,” he apologized gently, and leaned back to give her some space. “Is that better?” He asked, not registering what she had said next. He was oh so sweet.
Frowning to see him give her space which was what she needed but also remaining close as possible, quite the back and forward in her heart and head. "thanks" she answers quietly feeling bad for her already weird moods "Better get started on that cooking before I take over the kitchen" changing topics.
He blushed a little at her words and shook his head, “nope, you stay put, I’ll do the cooking,” he promised, and began to do so, and soon her favorite food was filling up her nostrils.
A roll of her eyes resulted of him hurrying to begin cooking before she hopped up to do so, laying back into bed she rests her eyes until sensing the food taken into the air of their small cottage. That he was able to cook did impress her, let alone her favorite dish of white cheddar mac n cheese casserole.
He always knew how to cook- she knew that. But he’d rather not boast about his talents. And he knew about her favorite dish too, did she really think her childhood crush now fiancé wouldn’t know that?
Wandering out of the bedroom to watch the master chef at work she smiles in thought of their future together, so much better than she could have ever hoped. "Smells amazing" complimenting him.
He turned around and gave her a warm smile, “Well I figured you had the ingredients…I just had to throw them together,” he speaks, smiling more, serving up two plates for them. “What would you like to drink?” He asked next.
