Fantasy RP Your Blood…It’s Intoxicating (Redcoat)

“And with as sick as you have been recently..” her mother continued, shaking her head. “I’m sure he will be able to care for you.” She spoke further.

Sick? Evelyn had been sick? Is that why earlier that evening she had swayed the way she did? What exactly was going on and why had she hid this fact from him..?

“Mother..I..I’m able to keep blood down now, I promise,” she assured her, but her mother hadn’t been convinced. So she summoned a servant, and commanded Evelyn to drink. Evelyn looked to the servant nervously before taking her wrist and then biting down to drink. Adam would clearly hear the discomfort in Evelyn’s bite. The blood she had been tasting revolted her and before she knew it she pulled away from the servant and soon was throwing up the blood she had just been drinking. She had faltered to her knees and with a trembling hand brought it to her lips and looked to her mother.

Her mother sighed and shook her head. “You haven’t been able to feed within a month! I’m worried, and I know marrying you off isn’t my wisest decision but, at least the lord has the most famous vampire doctors in the country.. you’d be taken care of there!”

Evelyn didn’t know how to tell her mother how she had been able to keep down lycan blood of all things. But then she wondered what Adam would do once he found out this information.

Adam kept his eyes focused on the wall infront of him, quietly listening to the conversation, even as he heard that she was struggling to drink. When she retched, he licked his lips and hesitated for a moment, before pushing his way into the room "Ma'am, are you okay?" He asked, pretending he hadn't overheard anything but the sound of her unwellness "Do you require something to drink?" He knelt to help her stand, his wrist proffered towards her lips, even as he wondered if she'd be willing to show her mother that she could keep his blood down.

When Adam came to her rescue, Evelyn was relieved and she could feel her mother’s eyes pierce through her like a stake would while Adam offered her his wrist. She had used him to steady herself as she was helped up, and her already blood stained lips opened, revealing her fangs to the werewolf.

It was then her mother had shouted out a command. “Stop this nonsense!” Like her son, she was too much of a traditionalist. If her daughter willingly drank from the Lycan… she didn’t know what her daughter would feel, or what would happen. Her eyes were focusing in on Adam’s figure. “You’re simply her bodyguard. Nothing more,” she said with a stern voice, watching Evelyn retract her fangs and raise her head to look at her mother.

It was then something else happened, Adam would hear Evelyn’s heavy breathing — well, heavy for a vampire—and could feel the weight of her body slack even more in his arms as she suddenly fainted. Her mother probably had drove her further to this state out of stress, and Adam would figure that her malnourished body wouldn’t be able to handle such a thing.

Adam caught her as she fainted, sweeping her up into a bridal-esque carry and immediately heading for her room "Well. As her Bodyguard, I say she requires solitude." He retorted, even as he moved out of the door and left her mother behind, his worry for Evelyn outweighing the normal politeness he had always greeted the woman with. Besides, right now she just needed blood, and if he couldn't give her his in public, he'd simply do it in private.

Her mother did not move to stop him from leaving, and simply turned away when he left.

Evelyn had finally come to her senses once she was in her chambers. She blinked awake slowly and groaned softly. “Adam?” She asked as she could tell he was nearby.

Evelyn didn’t hesitate once she was offered his wrist. She took it and only drank what she needed, soon pulling away from his wrist after a few moments. “I do apologize…I — didn’t want to worry you,” he would hear her say softly.

She gave a shy glance to him as he brought her clothes to change into. “I..don’t know what’s wrong with me. I haven’t been able to feed properly nor keep any blood down— besides yours,” she murmured out softly, she felt embarrassed though, who would have thought that his blood had been the answer, and not human blood. But surely this wasn’t sustainable and she would have to find an alternative sometime soon.

“For..about a month now.” She told him honestly, and when he asked who she was being sent off to, she looked embarrassed. “My mother thinks that marrying me off to this vampire lord will help form an alliance… and she said we need all the allies we can get.” But, she didn’t wish to marry him. “Also, she mentioned that their doctors there can figure out what’s wrong with me,” she glanced away from his gaze.

"An entire Month?" He sounded almost shocked, before she explained the rest and he sighed softly, shaking his head "That seems... rushed. And ill advised. From what I know, it's likely not a physical illness... I've heard of something similar before. There were wolves in our pack, who found themselves unable to eat meat, so they were forced to become vegetarians. Its closer to a sickness of the spirit... something in your spiritual makeup is... broken, for lack of a better word. I doubt regular physicians can resolve it."

She blinked at his words, trying to understand them. “So…what you’re mentioning is that once I leave this place, the ailment will leave me?” She asked. It was about a month ago that her mother had presented the fact that she would be wed off somewhere unfamiliar. She didn’t not like that fact and had been very distraught over it. So perhaps her unable to eat had been a factor from that very feeling of dread she had felt. With Adam being with her now, she felt a sense of safety from him, more than anything she had felt before.

"Not... exactly. The ailment is... more linked to you, than where you are. If the reason you are struggling comes along with you, the illness will remain. The only thing that confuses me is the fact you can drink from me..." He paused, seemingly thinking over the facts in his head for a while "I do not believe I am made of vegetables..." He joked, trying to relax her a little, even as she'd think on it herself.

She thought about it and nodded to him, “I..think I understand.” She said with a worried look on her face. “Trust me..I was wary at first from drinking from you, but- I was surprised that I could actually keep your blood down.” She leaned back on the pillows and huffed out slightly. “If only the doctors here could look at me better than they already have,” and maybe, if he took her to his pack’s guild…perhaps the shaman there could take a look more at her. But with the looming possibility of a super full moon on the rise in just a few days…who knows what would happen, especially if Adam wouldn’t be able to resist in taking her as his mate.

Adam nodded back to her words, even as the thought crossed the back of his mind, then presented itself front and centre, along with an image of her and him out in the woods, away from all the finery, in revealing leathers, that were functional in the barest sense of the word. He gave a grunt, shaking his head, correctly guessing to himself that the idea came from the looming Super Moon, and that even if she did have feelings, there was no way she'd be willing to give up her life of luxury to live with him in the wilds.

Well, he didn’t exactly ask her. She gave a soft sigh and settled into the bed, looking up at him. “Is everything alright?” She asked, noting him to be distracted. She figured it was because of the upcoming super full moon, and she wondered exactly how his ceremony would take place. She had heard rumors that tradition started with a public show of the chosen alpha taking his mate in front of the others. She couldn’t imagine going that far with Adam— even if he did choose…well, she wasn’t sure if he would choose her, to be fair she figured she wouldn’t be suitable to live that life.

He glanced back to her, giving a nod "Hmm? Yeah, everythings fine. Sorry, just... lost in thought, that's all." He hummed to himself, biting his lip even as he imagined her reaction to the ceremony, how red she'd blush and how good she'd look in the moonlight, his length starting to stiffen in his pants "Evelynn..." He mumbled softly, looking away again, before looking back and moving closer, to sit on the bed "I... need to ask you something. How would you like to... live out in the wild with me?"

Evelyn looked at Adam when he said everything was fine. She then tilted her head slightly as he mentioned that he had something to ask of her and she wondered what it was - especially now since he had shyly glanced away, before moving back to her. When he asked if she would like to live in the wilds with him, she was confused. “I—doesn’t your family live in a guild up north?” She knew it to be barbaric but not exactly stone caves and whatnot, more like ‘Viking’ huts with fur lined beds and campfires for warmth.

“Well… yes, but… I more meant compared to here…” he murmured softly, even as he tried not to make any moves to influence her. It was her decision, and he would let her make it in it’s entirety, even as she’d have to think on it, giving up the luxury of her current life in trade for not having to marry a man she’d never even met.

She looked down at her hands in her lap. Her eyes focused on the sunlight protection bracelet that had been given to her as a gift from him, it was adorned with a simple red ruby and golden intricately carved band. Evelyn then asked him a question, “Do…you think I’ll be more safe out there than compared to here when it comes to the humans..?” She asked. She shouldn’t even have to ask such a question. Her species were specifically being targeted, more than the werewolves it felt like, as there were more weapons aimed towards killing vampires. She had even overheard the rumors that werewolves were being used by the military to attack and destroy some covens.

He watched her looking at the sunlight bracelet, hearing her question and shrugging "I... wouldn't know. For certain, at least." He replied softly, moving a little closer to her and sitting on the bed next to her "It could in... theory. Because no one would ever think to look for you out in a werewolf pack, but then... it would also be riskier, because of the weaker defences out with us..." He reasoned softly, even as he moved to take her hand "If you wanted too... I would have no issues with you living with us... Or perhaps even more than that..." His voice trailed off, even as she'd catch his meaning and a mental image would flash in her mind, of her as his Mate, him as the Alpha in the ritual above her.

When he explained his reasoning and took her hand, she looked to him, a soft blush on her cheeks as she thought of the very idea of partaking in the werewolf custom ritual. When he meant what he said, she shyly looked away. “Are you…even sure? I wouldn’t be able to provide for you like a female werewolf could…” meaning they, at most would probably have only one child, and she would only be able to procreate during the blood moon. Which was a few months away actually. She hadn’t even thought too much about the blood moon ritual, and her cheeks darkened again at the very thought of her and Adam performing the public throne fucking.

He watched her flushed face carefully, seeming to take in her expression and the meaning behind it as she questioned him “Sure? Yes, I am sure, Evelyn. Do you think I am so shallow for the amount you can sire with me to matter?” He asked, almost hurt by the insinuation before he soon spoke again “Besides… it isn’t well known outside of the packs, but conversion of Vampires to wolf is possible…”

Evelyn bit her lip nervously, looking at Adam, a bit ashamed of what she had said. When he had mentioned about turning from vampire to wolf… she then frowned. “But I was born…not turned into a vampire, remember?” She then gave a shy glance away, “Plus…if what you said was true earlier..are you implying that I am not satisfied with who I am now? I’m just worried I won’t be able to provide for you like a female wolf can but…” She was worried more now than anything. She moved to take his hand. “Adam…I…love you more than anything.. and I’d gladly move out there with you, if…that is what you desire,” she said and looked at him, knowing he would have to become alpha one day.

Adam listened to her words, tilting his head as he considered her points, before he simply pulled her close for a kiss, muffling any more complaints "Hush... I did not mean to imply that you aren't happy as who you are... but the very fact you asked implied it yourself." He murmured into the kiss, before he pulled back and gently stroked her head "Who you are is always important... but who you become is equally so. If you wish to live with me, it would be safer to become a wolf fully... it would remove your dependency on this..." His hand moved down to her protection bracelet, his fingers brushing over the clasp "And... I would feel more comfortable like that..."

She was surprised at the kiss, but kissed him happily in return. But when he mentioned about her bracelet and it might be easier for them—made her frown lightly again, and she thought on it for a moment. “Perhaps..there might be a way for me to live with you as I am—“ she began and bit her lip again I thought. “I once read where a mate mark from a werewolf to a vampire once gave the vampire werewolf like qualities, one of them was being able to walk in sunlight..” she mentioned, and she knew it might be easier than to change her biological makeup— without magic, that is.

He licked his lips as she spoke, tilting his head as she basically described the procedure he'd been talking about "Well, that's... part of the process." He replied with a small laugh, shaking his head before moving his hands around to hold her tighter to his body "But... it really is up to you. All of it is. If you want to live with me, if you want to become my mate, if you want to be... less vulnerable to the sun..."

These things definitely weighed on her heart heavily, but it would be better than being wed to someone she didn’t know. She then nodded her head, and smiled towards him. “I— I think that would be best…I’d also feel better if I am able to be with you more, it would make me feel safer..” if she survived the transformation process. She would technically become a hybrid between the two species, which usually was unsuccessful…yet, she had faith it would work.
