Fantasy RP A fallen king and a stolen bride (angelica)

Groaning as she woke up, bea blinks open her eyes to a zebra walking into the room. “Hello” greeting the pair as she took a seat on a chair. Bea explains her symptoms before having her temperature taken.

“Mm no fever, no allergies or unfamiliar foods” the Zebra spoke. “Anything in your garden such as sprays or pesticides?” Asking Baz. Of course it never occurred to ask more couple related questions in sight of Bea’s recent heat.

Bea’s face felt so hot as it grew red when he explained what activities they have been doing. The Zebra nods in understanding “the symptoms can point to pregnancy from a successful heat” they spoke fishing in their bag. “Blood draw should tell” gesturing for Bea’s arm. The young deer looks to Baz feeling quite nervous.

Slowly offering her arm she turns her head to hide in Baz as the needle pricks her skin. Drawing out a little blood the Zebra quickly replaces the needle with a bandage “all done” getting up to use the dresser. She lets out a sample strip adding a new drops of blood to see the results. Bea looks up to Baz “what are we gonna do if…?” She questions.

Not hearing the results made Bea even more nervous, she hated being left in the dark. She grasps Baz’s shirt as he carries her, her eyes staring at the Zebra. This doctor lived at the edge of the forest, her cottage secluded from the village miles beyond. She invites them in gesturing for Bea to be set down on the medical chair as she set up the ultrasound. “So your results were inconclusive which is rare” finally informing them. “Lift up your shirt” rubbing the jelly on Bea’s tummy once she rolled up her shirt.

There was silence for several moments so the Zebra could read the screen, confusion on her face. “I would say you are pregnant as for how many it may take a month to know for sure”

Bea’s eyes widen “many? Like more than one?” She might just pass out. “Im sorry Baz. I didn’t know that being so different we could…” she knew this hurt him. He wanted children with Clare and on a whim here he is with Bea being pregnant.

He couldn't help but think of the last time he was here, trying to save Clare and the baby which prove futile. He wasn't sure if he could love the deer that has entered his life but he did care about her, more than he admitted.

Baz shook his head and would take her hand. "I didn't either but it will be okay. We have plenty of room at the castle for them since there may be several. We will figure this out together if you still want to stay"

Her eyes welled up with tears beginning to truly hate how all this played out, all out of order. Bea squeezes his hand as the guilt settles into her chest, last thing she wanted was to replace his Clare. She glances to the Zebra who was assembling supplements and medications to take home.

“I dunno yet” Bea spoke up, taking her hand back and hugging herself. “I certainly dont want to leave but…I dont want to hurt you”

The Zebra listened as she tied off the bag, handing it to land in Bea’s lap “please take care, I am a short walk away if and when I am needed” reassuring them both.

Bea offered a small smile “thank you” moving to hug the bag close to her chest. “Lets head back” reaching for his head once more.

Sitting up a little, she laughs, remembering him saying that, which at the time was a joke, but now it was going to come true. Bea gazes down at her tummy, wondering how big she would swell with more than one baby growing inside her. Her species rarely had twins, so having more than one at a time was uncommon; however, wolves were known for having twins or more born at once. The thought of so many running around was a lot.
