Ryder's jaw drops and then he shakes his head, "No sir. I worked hard to pay for the date on my own, I can't take this." He doesn't take the money, sliding his hands into his pockets, "I don't come from a poor family, but my parents taught me hard work. I put in my hours to have the money for tonight."
 
A small smirk curls at the edges of Derek lips. "For the first time since I met my husband, I can say I'm pleasantly surprised." He pockets the money and slowly stands from his chair. "As you said earlier, have my princess back home by eleven." He extends his hand to Ryder, still holding a dominant aura while smirking.
