General RP Damnit, There's Kids Now! (Firestarter)

Kalin blinks and looks up, staring at him for a moment, the look on his face saying 'loading'. "Oh, yeah, I know. I want you happy to."

Derek smiles and reaches out for Kalin's hand.

At the same time, the woman at the other table scoffs again and rolls her eyes, muttering under her breath. "He clearly doesn't like you. Get over yourself."

Derek gently caresses his thumb over the back of Kalin's hand as the waiter comes up. He gives the waiter their order along with a bottle of wine before turning to smile at Kalin again. "Would you like to do anything else after dinner? Maybe take a walk along the beach or in a park?"

The woman sighs heavily once again and starts murmuring to her friend about Derek being desperate and not being able to see how Kalin is obviously uninterested.

Derek chuckles and nods, "Of course, baby. I know a private beach we can go to."

The woman huffs loudly and glares at Derek for a moment before going back to talking with her friend.

The woman rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "He's so desperate. You're clearly not interested, so he needs to just give up and stop being a damn tool."

Kalin stands, placing his hands on his hips, "Excuse me? My husband is not a tool. And I'm interested in what he has to say. Next time, mind your own business."

The woman's eyes widen a bit and her friend slaps her shoulder. "I'm...I'm sorry."

Derek sighs and shakes his head, looking down.

Kalin grumbles and moves to stand behind Derek, wrapping his arms around the other's shoulders. "Mmm. . . A beach side walk sounds amazing, Babe.

Derek smiles and gently rubs Kalin's arm, looking up at Kalin. "I'm glad baby."

Derek kisses Kalin back and lightly squeezes his arm, "The food should be here any minute. Come sit back down and lets enjoy our night."

Before long, the waiter walks out with their food and set it down on the table. After pouring both Derek and Kalin a glass of wine, the waiter leaves.

"This looks delicious." Derek smiles.

Derek digs into his food, occasionally glancing at Kalin as a wide smile spreads across his face.

Derek chuckles softly, setting down his fork and watching Kalin with both fascination and admiration.

Derek laughs softly and reaches over to clean the cheese from Kalin's chin with thumb. "I said you're so cute." Licking his thumb clean of the cheese, Derek smirks and shakes his head. "I remember how hard it was to get you to eat at Flemmings the first time."

Derek laughs and looks down. "It wasn't just the price you had a problem with and you know it. You were so flustered about eating with me after everything that happened in the elevator."

Derek laughs and reaches out to gently caress Kalin's face with his thumb. "And it was and will forever be my favorite memory. It's what changed my life and made me the happiest man on earth."

Kalin smiles at him and leans forward, "Maybe we can recreate the scene~" he whispers, "If you live it so much."

Derek clears his throat softly and clenches his fist on top of the table, trying to keep his composure. "I think that sounds perfect."
