General RP Damnit, There's Kids Now! (Firestarter)

Derek climbs into the driver seat and lets out a soft breath before starting the car and pulling out of the garage. "I can't believe it's already been 2 years."

Kali laughs, "Mhm. . ." He looks over at Derek, "Before you know it, they'll be gone about of the house."

Derek frowns and whines a little, glancing at Demi's smiling face through the rear view mirror before looking at the road.

Kalin touches Derek's thigh, "They won't leave us like that, babe." He murmurs, smiling at Derek. "And we have years yet to come, okay?"

Derek nods and sighs softly. "I know...I just don't like the idea of my little princess growing up...God forbid the day she starts liking boys."

Kalin snorts, pressing his hand to his mouth and turning away, "Oh, babeeee. . ." He snickers, "Don't wanna become a grandpa?" He teases softly.

Derek shoots Kalin a warning glare before huffing and grumbling to himself.

Demi hums softly in the back seat and lightly kicks her legs. "Will Kas go to the same school as me?"

Kalin laughs softly, "Mmm. . ." He looks back at Demi, "We don't know yet, pumpkin. We'll see how he does around people."

Demi smiles and nods before going back to humming.

Finally pulling up to the school, Derek blows out a heavy breath and turns off the car. "Ready?"

Kalin yawns, nodding. "No." He Snickers, sliding from the dlcar and opening the door for Demi.

Demi giggles and climbs out of the car as best she can while Derek walks around to take her hand.

Kalin smiles and picks her up, swinging her from the car before setting her on her feet, "Okay, Pumpkin, lets go see your teacher."

Demi smiles brightly and takes both Kalin and Derek's hands as Derek leads the way through the school. As other kids stare at her, she whines a little and hugs Kalin, "Everyone is looking at me..."

Kalin rubs her back, "Yes, baby. . ." He murmurs. He crouches down in front of her, "You know Daddy own a huge company. A lot of people know about me and Daddy, abd I'm sure they're surprised you're going to school here. But it's okay, pumpkin. You're strong and brave, and I know you'll have a good day."

Demi takes a deep breath and smiles a little. "Okay Papa...I'll do my best!"

Derek smiles and pets Demi's hair softly before opening the door to the classroom. "Here we are."

Kalin stands, straightening. He stretches, yawning and leaning into Derek slightly, peering into the classroom.

Derek wraps and arm around Kalin and leads the three of them inside, walking to to the teacher, Miss Mary.

(Shhhh! Lol)

Miss Mary smiles and walks over to Derek with a gentle smile. "Hello, you must be the Gatemens. We are so excited to have Demi joining us."

Derek smiles and holds Kalin a little closer. "We're hoping she has a great time here."

Miss Mary nods softly. "Of course. We will do everything we can to ensure she feels happy and safe here. Do either of you have any questions?"

Demi looks up at Kalin and smiles, "I like her, Papa. She seems nice."

Derek pat's Kalin's hand softly before looking at Miss Mary. "We just want to make sure that if anything happens, we will be contacted immediately and that my husband, Kalin, a gentleman named Trenton, and I are still the only ones on the approved pick up list."

Miss Mary nods quickly, "Of course, why don't we have Demi go take a seat on the carpet with the other children so she can get to know them while we all talk."

Derek clears his throat softly before leaning close to Kalin's ear. "It'll be okay, we will be picking her up in a few hours."
