"I love you." Derek murmurs softly.

Kalin looks up at him, "I love you too, Sir." He teases, grinning at Derek.

Derek clears his throat and tightens his hold on Kalin just a little, "Watch it...i'll push through the pain just to teach you a lesson." He whispers softly.

Kalin feels his face heat, "No, you won't." He mumbles back, staring at the food.

Derek chuckles and nuzzles his face into Kalin's neck, "Wont I?" He says before nipping on the other's soft skin.

Kalin sucks in his breath, shuddering slightly. He tips his head back slightly, "Babe. . ."

Derek smirks and looks down at Kalin. "That's what I thought..."

Kalin huffs, "I'd safeword."

Derek grits his teeth and sighs. "Fucking brat..."

"I'm not going to cock block you, but if you hurt yourself trying to duck me, I'll safeword." Kalin looks up at Derek.

Derek huffs. "Fine..."

Kalin smiles and reaches up, pulling Derek down for a kiss.

Derek presses a soft kiss to Kalin's lips, humming softly before pulling away. "Let me get back to the kids. I'm sure Kas is missing me."

Kalin sighs and nods, letting go of him.

Walking back to the living room, Derek plops down on the couch and laughs as he see's Demi playing with Kas' hair.

Kas lights up when her sees Derek, starting to babbles.

Derek smiles and sits back down on the couch with Kas and Demi.

Demi giggles and continues to play with Kas' hair.

Kalin grumbles to himself, his nose wrinkling.

Climbing off the couch carefully, Demi walks into the kitchen with Kalin. "Can I help, Papa?"

Kalin looks down and then shakes his head, "Sorry, pumpkin. I don't want to trip over you or something."

 

[Firestarter]

Demi pouts and rests her head against Kalin's thigh. "No fair..."

"You know I'm clumsy, Demi." He murmurs.

 

[Firestarter]

Demi grumbles and stomps her way back into the living room as Derek struggles to bite back a snicker.

Kalin sighs heavily, looking guilty as he bites his lip. He turns away, rubbing the side of her face.

Demi plops down in the couch and crosses her arms. "I wanna help Papa...no fair."

Kalin winces slightly, sucking in a breath and holding it for a moment.

 

[Firestarter]

"Demi, you need to learn that no means no. Papa is just trying to make sure you don't get hurt." Derek says in a soft yet firm tone.

"But I don't want Papa to everything alone." Demi whines.

Kalin keeps holding his breath, pulling the food off the stove

 

[Firestarter]

"I understand, but throwing a tantrum isn't going to make things better. Now I want you to go apologize to Papa. You made him feel bed." Derek says with a smile.

Demi frowns and climbs back off the couch, nervously walking over to Kalin. "Papa...I'm sorry."
