He hummed softly, feeling her grip getting tighter around him in response, letting her cry all she needed as he stroked her back, gently guiding her deeper into the alleyway, away from the main street where it was less likely they'd be noticed by anyone as he whispered softly into her ears "It's okay Bonnie, it's okay... get it all out... it's okay to cry.... You'll be alright, I promise... I won't let anyone hurt you like this again..."

She squeezed him. "I don't want you to-"she mumbled as she seemed to be finally calming down. "I should-be able to do it-"

"Bonnie, please... Just... I'm your teammate... I'm here to help you, that's all..." He murmured, feeling her sobs slow down and gently moving her head back, placing a soft kiss onto her lips, hoping she'd accept it.

As he came closer to her, she didn't stop him...didn't fight or yell, her lips were wet, her breathing shaky but steadied as he got closer, kissing him back. She held onto him, pushing his back against the wall

He pressed his tongue deeper past her lips, rubbing it over hers, even as he gave a soft groan from her fingers digging against his back, his own arms still clutching her close as she accepted her own feelings so openly.

Bonnie pulled herself back, breaking the kiss with a soft pant, her hands letting go of him to wipe her face as sge tried to compose herself still.

He held her still, letting her have the space she desired as she wiped her face "You feeling better now?" He asked softly, waiting for her response with a warm smile.

"I feel...a little better. I guess." She said as she looked away from him still, giving a sigh to herself. "I-....I don't know why I'm acting like this. I'm usually better about this.", she said

Markus shrugged in response as she spoke, knowing it was more to herself than to him "Well... I'm here for you, Bonn." He smiled "If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, or someone to talk to... or anything else. I'm here."

Bonnie would have normally shot his attempt at reaching her down, but she merely shuffled on her feet. "I'll keep that in mind." She said as she walked out of the alley. "Let's go back..."

He nodded to her, still smiling warmly as he reached out to take her hand, if she'd let him hold it as they walked to the ferry terminal, where they'd find Jason and Charlotte waiting for them.

Charlotte was standing by at the Terminal, some Trainers getting on board, some tourists yapping about their trip time. But as Bonnie and Charlotte looked at eachother, Charlotte looked away from her, clearly expecting something to happen. But Bonnie just stood by Jason, folding her arms. "Are we ready?" Bonnie said stiffly

Jason raised an eyebrow at Bonnie's reaction but nodded, raising three balls to return the trio before boarding, waiting till they were in their cabin before letting just Bonnie out "Okay. We need to talk."

Bonnie sighes deeply, but doesn't tense up or even seem hostile...yet. "yes. We probably do." She said nodding

He blinked in mild surprise as she agreed "Uh... okay. Not quite what I expected... But anyway. You and Charlotte. What's your issue with her?" He asked, crossing his arms.

"Nothing." Bonnie said folding her arms. "I don't hate her...but I got angry because thought you'll hold back because of her. That You'll let the team stumble because you can't handle what happens to her. And I'd have to put up with that" she said

“Ah. I get it… but I’ve had this exact conversation with Charlotte already. She doesn’t want that anymore than you do. And surely you should be taking out that feeling against me, not her.”

"Your a human." She said scoffing. "You're all weak and bendy. If I get too upset you just throw me in the ball" she said

“Well. That’s true. But you know how much you upset Charlotte, right? She thinks you hate her guts, because she’s taking your position or something like that.” He explained, shaking his head.

Bonnie opened her mouth...but closed it, knowing that she couldn't exactly defend that. "I....didn't want to do that. " sge said seeming actually guilty about that

“Yeah. You might not. But that’s how it looked to Charlotte. She almost had a breakdown over it when you went off in a strip earlier.” He remained quite stern with her, but he had noticed the way she seemed more… reflective now.

Bonnie sighed again, gripping her elbows as she nodded at him. "I...I'll try to make it up to her...I don't know how...." She said as she accepted his words.

"Mmm. Yeah. Maybe just... I don't know, try having a talk with her, or something?" He suggested, before pausing and stroking his chin "Bonnie... I have to ask, are you feeling okay? What happened on your run?"

"Nothing really...I ran into a Gardevoir and they were kinda a dick about it really...caught Markus too. Then they let us go." She said shrugging

"A Gardevoir?" Jason asked, tilting his head as he wondered "Did... did they use any telekinetics on you?" He questioned, even as she spoke of being caught and the 'Voir being a dick.

"For like a few minutes. Just held me in place really, then Markus. Then...we got up and left" she said rubbing her head
