Fantasy RP Pleasure of midnight (FaeWhisperer)

Avery looked over at Xavier when he said that one of his plans was to take her out to dinner and a soft blush came over her cheeks, she had never thought he would ask her out to dinner at all. Letting him tilt her chin up she study his face before she smiled into the slow kiss he pressed to her lips and she returned him happily, "I would like that" she whispered back to him with a gentle smile. It had been years since she had gone on a date but Avery was excited and nervous about the idea of going on a date with Xavier.

"Would I need a nice dress for this date?" Avery asked softly as she mentally went through all of the dresses she owned, she didn't own a single 'date' dress but she was sure any of the summer dresses that she did own would be alright for a simple date. If he did plan to take her somewhere that she needed a dress that was more fancy Avery knew she would be able to go and get one, "Because, depending on where you want to take me, I don't think any of my normal dresses would be a good choice" she laughed softly.

Listening to her speak about what wanting to wear, he said, “Just wear whatever you’d like, he spoke and thought about more where he could take her. “Because I think taking you shopping first would be a great way to start, that way I can help pick you an outfit.” He added in, grinning as he did. “Then we can head for lunch, and after, I can pick you up for dinner.” So he totally had this planned out, which was no surprise.

“But I’m not entirely sure on where to take you for dinner,” he admitted now. “But I was kind of thinking of this place at the Sea Life Aquarium,” he mentioned, hoping she would like to go on an aquarium date with him. He wondered if she had mentioned something about this before, as in— she had wanted to go but just had never found the time.

Avery nodded her head a little when he said that he could help her pick out an outfit, "I'd like that" she said honestly, as he continued talking she couldn't help but give a soft laugh as she moved away from him and got out of the shower. Grabbing one of the towels he had brought in she dried herself off before wrapping it firmly around herself as she looked at Xavier, "You seem to have given this a lot of thought" Avery said with a small shake of her head.

When he mentioned taking her to the Sea Life Aquarium she tilted her head slightly, "I'd love that, actually" she said softly sounding a little confused as she spoke. Avery had always planned to go to the aquarium but something always seemed to come up which made her have to put the plan off, "I mean, I've been trying to get there for months, but something always came up" Avery explained a little with a small shrug of her shoulders. For some reason, going to the aquarium with Xavier seemed like the perfect thing to do and she couldn't help but feel excited that she was actually going on a date with him.

Xavier got out of the shower as well, and took a towel before drying himself. Listening to her further, he was happy she was excited about the aquarium and he gave a small sheepish laugh at her ‘you have thought this through’ moment. And he confessed, “Well.. what can I say but tell you that yes, I have thought it out and..I’m not going to tell you how long it’s been since I’ve thought it out,” his cheeks stained lightly with a dusting of pink.

Shaking his head, he wrapped the towel around his waist before walking to the bedroom with her. When she had mentioned her lack of time on going to the aquarium he glanced over at her. “Well, now you won’t have to wait that much longer,” he says with a small smile. He moved to get clothes to dress into, wondering if she would find clothes to wear currently, and he knew something in that box he had shown earlier would fit her.

A bit later, they were walking around the mall, and Xavier had took her hand, holding it lightly. They had taken his car to get there, and it hadn’t exactly been ‘low profile’ but at this point Avery already knew he had money. With his outfit though, it didn’t help. He currently was wearing a dark brown dress sweater, with his black dress pants and black dress shoes. He had chose this knowing the outside temperature was ‘cold’ but he didn’t feel cold. It was mostly to blend in better. As a vampire, he didn’t want to stand out but he definitely wasn’t helping his case. And being so tall didn’t help either.

Either way, stares were unavoidable at his point but one look to them with a cold glance made onlookers look away.

At their first stop in the mall he walked in with Avery, watching her eyes light up at all of the possibilities in this store. He had told her don’t worry about the price, and that he would cover it.

(I'm going to reply as much as I can, but things are still very touch and go here >.<)

Avery gave a soft laugh as Xavier told her that he had indeed thought all of this through but wasn't going to tell her how long, she liked seeing the light dusting of pink on his cheeks. Being embarrassed suited him and Avery wanted to see more of him blushing if she could make him do such a thing.

--

She had been so excited to go out with Xavier, she held onto his hand happily not caring at how they might have looked with their height difference. Avery wasn't worried about the glanced and looks people were giving them because of the man beside her, she was simply enjoying his company. Even though she was happy wearing her simple little pastel pink sundress with a lavender cardigan over the top and her simple white sandals she couldn't help but feel underdressed walking beside Xavier.

He always looked as if he was ready to go to a business meeting or some high fashion event, looking at the shop that they walked into her eyes widened slightly. She had walked past the high fashion store she now found herself in often, sometimes she would stop and admire the beautiful dresses and clothes in the windows before moving on as they were all out of her price range. Even though Xavier had told her not to worry about the price Avery couldn't help but feel bad that he would cover buying her a dress.

Letting go of his hand as she walked around the shop Avery couldn't help but find herself looking at some dresses on clearance, even though they were marked down in price Avery couldn't help but be shocked at how expensive everything still was. "Xavier...These are too much" she said with a small shake of her head, "Even though you said not to worry about the price, I can't help but worry about it" Avery confessed. She had always worried about money as her family had always struggled with it, but they made do with what they had and that had followed her into her adult life making her very conscious of how much money she spent on things.

Flicking through the dresses on the rack Avery pulled out a mini cream coloured strapless corset styled dress with beautiful light gold filigree embroidery on it, holding it up against her body she turned to face Xavier with a raised brow, "Yes or no?" she asked casually.

Xavier couldn’t understand how she could dress as she did, worried that she might have been too cold, he had offered her his coat at one point but she had refused.

When he wanted to spoil her- he hadn’t been surprised at the moment she told him these clothing items were too expensive. Although a little hesitant at first, he saw that she was reluctantly agreeing, or willing to pick out an outfit for him.

He gave a soft sigh and closed his eyes, he knew money really wasn’t an issue, and he truly did want to spoil her, but when she asked him for his opinion on the dress, he knew it was an immediate no.

Humming a little, he reopened his eyes, and then asked her, “Where would you like to go shopping at?” He waited for her response, Xavier closely watching her reaction. He figured it wasn’t here, but he also figured she wouldn’t be that open to him just yet on what she liked, so he wanted to learn more about her.

He didn’t care how she dressed, as long as she felt comfortable in her own body while doing so, that was all that mattered. “But if you want my full opinion, I think that dress is beautiful, but I’d much rather want you to wear something you’d feel comfortable in,” he tells her now, moving his hand and pushing the hanger down gently, the dress was now out of her view.

“Don’t make me use compulsion on you..” he started, and Xavier knew she was uncomfortable spending this much money, even if he had said he would cover it, “please, Avery, take me to your favorite stores,” he softly begged of her.

Avery waited for him to speak and when he asked where she would like to go shopping she breathed out a small sigh of relief happy that he didn't agree to the dress, sure she did like it but Avery wasn't use to fancy shops and she felt so out of place there. Letting him push the hanger down out of her view she tilted her head to the side a little as she looked up at him when he spoke about using compulsion on her, "You wouldn't" she said with a shake of her head.

She had no doubt that if push came to shove Xavier would probably use compulsion on her but Avery didn't want to test that, making sure the dress was back on the rack properly she reached out and grabbed his right hand gently. "This is going to be very underwhelming for you" Avery chuckled as she started to lead Xavier out of the store they were currently in, keeping a hold of his hand as she walked Avery couldn't help but wonder what he would think of the small boutique she liked to go too when she wanted to spoil herself a little, it had much more reasonable prices that she was more willing to let Xavier pay for.

Reaching the store Avery glanced at him a little before she lead him into the store, seeing some of the workers she knew she smiled and waved at them, she had gotten to know the workers rather well over the time she had been going there. "This is where I come, when I want to buy myself something nice" Avery said shyly, walking over to one of the clothings racks that had quite a few dresses that weren't summer styled dresses on them she flicked through them for a moment.

Glancing at Xavier slightly she pulled out a pastel blue long sleeved knit dress that would hit her mid thigh, "It'll keep me warm so I won't have to wear a jacket and I'll wear boots with it" Avery said casually with a small smile. She knew she had a pair of black over the knee boots she could wear with the dress so she would be able to keep her legs nice and warm, "And, it's a price I am willing to let you pay" she laughed softly as she turned the price tag towards him so he could see it was only fifty dollars.

"After all, you've already spent enough money on me" Avery said softly referring to how much money he had sent her for being a meal at his party.

Xavier let her take his hand and drag him out of the store, but he didn’t mind at all. When she took him around a few other shops and suddenly he found himself on the second floor.

They soon came to a little independent shop that had high fashioned clothes at reasonable prices. Once inside he looked over at the staff Avery waved at and he noticed that, he could instantly tell this shop belonged to werewolves. But the employee that caught his attention first didn’t say anything to him, yet gave a silent, unnoticeable glare over to him— one Avery couldn’t pick up on— one that told Xavier to ‘you either treat our girl here right or my pack and I will have you for our dinner’.

Xavier stiffened up slightly but gave a slight nod as he wasn’t making enemies of Avery’s favorite shop. The employee in question didn’t care who this vampire was, royalty or not— she would kill him if Avery ever gets hurt because of this oversized Ken doll.

When Avery brought his attention back to her, he saw the dress and looked back to her, briefly imagining her in the outfit. He then gave a nod of approval with a smile that followed, “I think you’ll look beautiful in it,” he spoke and gave a slight embarrassed glance to her when she said he already spent enough money on her. “Well, first off..” he trailed off and could feel eyes burning a hole into the back of his head.

Nope, he’ll keep his mouth shut and just agree with Avery. “Sure thing love, whatever you want,” he said now, slightly panicked. But of course Avery wouldn’t be aware of this, thankfully.

When Xavier gave a nod of approval she smiled happily, "Good, because we can't have two of us walking around looking as if we have just stepped off of a runway" she teased him playfully taking a light jab at his choice of clothing. She didn't believe that the man in front of her even owned a casual set of clothes but it didn't matter to her, Avery liked seeing him all dressed up. When he trailed off speaking she frowned at him a little but didn't try to get him to finish what he wanted to say. As soon as he called her love Avery blushed lightly, she liked hearing him call her love.

Walking up to the counter with the dress Avery smiled happily at the woman behind the counter as she put it down, "He'll be paying" Avery said sweetly with a small nod of her head towards Xavier. Avery knew that the girls who worked in the store were werewolves as they had helped her with her younger sister after Avery moved to the city, when she had left home she had taken her sister with her after she had been attacked by a werewolf in their hometown. It had taken a bit of work and a lot of threats of violence towards her but Avery had managed to find a pack that was willing to take her sister in and help her learn how to handle being a werewolf.

Once the dress was paid for and placed in a bag Avery took it happily, "Thank you, and please tell Lena to remember to call dad. She hasn't spoken to him for a little while and he gets worried" Avery said to the woman with a soft laugh. She had no doubt that Xavier would be curious but she knew if he asked she would tell him about her sister, it wasn't a closely guarded secret in her family what had happened so Avery felt comfortable talking about it.

"Where should we go for lunch?" Avery asked as she grabbed Xavier's hand lightly with her free one as she began to walk towards the entrance of the store, she wanted to let him decide where the best place for lunch would be.

Xavier felt a little shy from her teasing but nevertheless he knew he would surprise her in his dress soon enough, as this was his causal. But either way, once up to the counter to pay, he did so, and the lady at the counter looked to Avery as they walked away. Hearing about Avery speak of a mysterious woman, once the words ‘dad’ came into play, he knew who she was talking about.

He had never asked personally before, but he had caught tidbits here and there every now again while in the coffee shop. But as they walked out of the store and the bag in his hand he glanced to her. “Mm..you know I’m not too partial to food, so perhaps anywhere you wish to go?” He suggests, idly squeezing her hand every now and then as they walked with one another. He then takes another look at her face before asking, “So..I’m assuming back there.. you knew they were werewolves?” He waited for her response although he knew where this might end up going.

Avery made a small nod of her head when he said that they could do anywhere she wished and so she lead Xavier to a cafe that was on the ground floor that was high tea inspired but without a price tag, looking up at him when he asked if she knew they were werewolves in the boutique she couldn't help but give a small laugh as she nodded her head. "Yes, I am well aware they are werewolves" she said honestly, once they were inside the cafe Avery ordered herself a coffee as well as some finger sandwiches for her to munch on.

When everything was ordered Avery headed over to a table that was by a window and sat down getting comfortable, placing her elbows on the table she rested her chin on her hands as she looked at Xavier studying his face for a moment. "I know them because they are apart of the pack that took in my little sister after she got attacked" Avery said with a small shrug of her shoulders, she wondered how he would feel knowing that she had a werewolf for a sister.

"I made my sister, Lena, move to the city when I came here" she started with a soft sigh, "Her condition isn't hidden away in our family, but I brought her with me because...small towns talk, and sometimes that talk isn't very nice" Avery added softly almost shyly. She had loved living in the small town that she had been born in but Avery knew it would be better and safer to take her sister away from small minded people who didn't understand that just because her sister had been attacked it didn't automatically mean her sister would attack them.

While Avery had been ordering, Xavier went to sit at a table, glancing out of the window next to them. He gave a soft sigh as he thought on werewolves and the like, knowing that he had much more about himself to explain to Avery. It had been another reason why he hadn’t liked anyone else’s blood but hers. Well, that and if it hadn’t been for synthetic blood, he would have been sick all the time, considering that his body usually rejected normal human blood.

Drinking from Avery though had been a miracle and he had been so relieved for it. He then glanced over to her when she approached the table and listened to her explanation. He then nodded to her and closed his eyes in response, “Mm..I understand that completely,” he said lowly, reopening his eyes and looking to her. They were back to his steel gray ones, but a hint of something else other than his sapphire blue had been in there, yet Avery wouldn’t catch it just yet.

“I think what you’ve done for your sister is commendable,” he says next, leaning back in his chair. “Thank you for sharing,” he adds in toward the end, appreciative that she was open to him with these things. He silently hoped that when he explained more about himself she would be open to him as well.

"I'm just doing what I can to be good big sister" Avery said with a soft laugh before she gave a small shake of her head when he thanked her for sharing, she didn't see the big deal when it came to explaining a little bit about her family with the man who she liked. It wasn't long before her coffee and her sandwiches arrived and she leaned back in the chair a little to be a bit more comfortable, "You don't need to thank me for sharing Xavier, sometimes it's nice to share things with people you care about" she said happily as she picked up her coffee and sipped a little of it before she started to eat.

Glancing at Xavier she raised a brow at him a little, "What about you Xavier, do you have any family secrets you want to spill?" she asked teasingly. Avery didn't not expect him to share anything at all with her, she wasn't going to force him to tell her things he didn't want too since they were still getting to know each other outside of her making coffee for him whenever he came into the cafe.

"Or would you prefer to know more about me and my family before you divulge anything about you and your family?" Avery questioned with a small smirk, she didn't think her or her family was that interesting at all but she had no doubt that to a vampire it would probably be interesting. Normally she didn't go out of her way to talk about her family since it was just her, her sister and brother, their father and her grandmother. She also doubted he would find a family from a small town very fascinating.

When she teased him about family secrets, Xavier gave a nervous laugh and shook his head. “Eh, there’s nothing too exciting really,” he explained the best he could. He didn’t think telling her right now would be the best option, surely she’d find out sooner or later on her own, but then again he felt she deserved to know some part about him.

He then gave a sigh and looked down at his hands. “It’s just..my dad used to be a vampire hunter before marrying my mother..” he paused, wondering how he would frame this. he looked up at her, “And when he was a hunter, he got in an accident that involved werewolves, unfortunately turning him into one,” his eyes focused in on her face, looking for any sort of reaction. “Then after marrying my mother they had me and my brothers, and later younger sister,” Xavier basically told her that he was a hybrid. As common as they were, it wasn’t that uncommon to not notice them as most usually blended in as vampires, knowing that they were still not very well liked among society.

And to Avery, it would make sense, especially why he was drinking synthetic blood. Because unfortunately most hybrids, due to their werewolf nature couldn’t drink normally and often times real blood would make them sick, as their body rejected it. So to know that her blood hasn’t made him sick at all..

It wasn’t just a personal preference, it had been a choice because of how he knew his body responded to actual blood. He had given the wine excuse before because it had been better put in those terms, and it was sort of true, he hated how everyone had tasted but Avery.

Stopping eating Avery gave Xavier her full attention as he spoke about his family, she had heard about hybrids before but her knowledge on them wasn't amazing. But now that she thought about what she did know about hybrids she frowned slightly as she thought about how he was about drinking blood, he seemed to enjoy drinking her blood but Avery stopped herself from saying anything as she didn't want to put Xavier on the spot about his blood drinking habits in such a public place.

When he finished speaking completely she smiled at him, "I think your family is very exciting" she said honestly as she sipped some more of her coffee. "I mean, a vampire hunter turned werewolf who fell in love with vampire is far more exciting than my little small town family" she said with a soft laugh as she looked at Xavier over the rim of her cup, Avery found the man in front of her so very amazing that she was wanting to know as much about him as he was willing to show her.

"I guess sharing a little more about my family is only fair" Avery said with a small laugh as she put her cup down and crossed her arms on the table a little getting comfortable, "My parents were high school sweethearts, they got married right out of high school" she started "My dad is the local mechanic back home and my brother works with him, my gran is a right old fire cracker and spends most of her time at the local bar" Avery laughed with a small shake of her head.

Avery made sure not to mention about her mother as people tended to look at her differently when she told them that her mother was passed away when she was kid and that she had basically raised her sister on her own while her father and grandmother had worked and their brother studied and helped out in their dads mechanic shop.

Xavier felt a little warm behind his cheeks as she listened and responded to what he had said. He knew at some point he would tell her about drinking her blood, but was unsure of how she would respond.

Listening to her family background, he realized that she never mentioned about her mother but figured it might have been a sensitive topic for her so he didn’t pry.

“It sounds like your family is full of interesting characters,” he says in turn, leaning back slightly in his chair and giving a small smile, happy that she had shared that with him. He then moved to look at his phone for the time and then he looked up at her, “Well, I don’t know about you but you want me to drop you off at your house so you can get ready for our aquarium date?” He asked, but then added, “I’m not saying I want to cut our time short, but I figured I’d give you time to get ready,” he explained, blushing ever so slightly.

Blushing a little when he said that her family was full of interesting characters she nodded her head a little, as soon as Xavier suggested taking her to her house so she could get ready for their date she nodded her head a little, "That would be a good idea" she agreed. Normally Avery didn't take too long to get ready but she planned to get some more rest before going to aquarium with him.

Once she was home Avery had a sleep for a couple of hours before she got up and got ready for the date, she tied her hair up so it was away from her face and didn't bother with makeup as Avery had never been big on makeup, sitting on the edge of her bed in the dress she had picked out as she started to pull on her boots she paused hearing a knock on her front door. "Be right there" Avery called out as she quickly finished pulling her boots on, grabbing her handbag she quickly checked herself in her floor length mirror liking how the dress and the boots looked before she headed for the door, opening it she looked at Xavier with a smile "Hey" she said happily as she ran her eyes over what he was wearing taking in his appearance.

Avery doubted that the man in front of her could ever look bad in anything, "You look dapper as always" Avery said with a soft smile. Even though the dress she was wearing was more of a date dress she couldn't help but feel a little underdressed beside Xavier.

Xavier didn’t really want to leave her side but when he did leave her in her house he had patrolled the surrounding area to make sure no threats would come for her. Not like it would but one could never be too careful.

When he returned back to his home he had gotten ready and chose an outfit that was more him than he normally would wear- and he hoped she would like it. So standing in front of her door he knocked on it and waited for her to come and open it for him.

Being a hybrid— well, you didn’t need permission to enter someone’s home, but he still didn’t come inside out of respect for Avery. But he saw the dress she wore that he had helped her picked out and he gave a charming smile. “And you look beautiful- as always,” he added in with a slight wink.

What he was wearing was something outside of his usual but he felt more comfortable in it than anything. He wore black, slightly ripped jeans that tapered at the calf of his leg, black combat boots and a matching long sleeved gray relaxed fit sweater that scooped across his neck. He wore a dark grey pea coat that was open at the front.

He wasn’t exactly sure how to dress for a date, let alone for an aquarium date. He figured he’d choose something relaxed and casual so that Avery could stand out but thinking on it now, he didn’t exactly think having his date stand out would be a good idea, he’d fear too many stares would make him jealous and overprotective of her.

He helped her down the steps to her house and led her to his car, which he opened the passenger door for her and let her sit down before closing it. He went to the driver’s side and got in.

Before she knew it, they were now pulling up to the aquarium and once parked he helped her out and offered his arm as they went to the entrance. Thankfully there were others there that dressed all differently so Xavier didn’t feel too out of place.

“So where would you like to first?” He asked as they paid for admission and walked through towards the first couple of aquariums.

To her Xavier always dressed amazingly and Avery doubted she would ever be able to keep up with the man's ever changing clothing style but she did enjoy seeing him wearing different things. When he said that she looked beautiful and winked at her Avery blushed deeply and she shook her head slightly, "I-I wouldn't go that far" she mumbled nervously.

She loved how gentlemanly he was when he helped her down the stairs and into his car, the ride to the aquarium was lovely and relaxing but Avery couldn't help but feel a little nervous about going on a date with the man she had been crushing since he had been coming to the cafe, looking around at the people at the aquarium she took his arm with a smile when Xavier offered it to her.

When he asked where she would like to go first Avery looked thoughtful for a moment, "There is an underwater tunnel I'd love to go through" Avery said almost excitedly, she felt like a kid of Christmas finally getting the toy they wanted. "As long as your not claustrophobic of course" she added hurriedly not wanting to go anywhere that Xavier might not be comfortable going, Avery always preferred to put other peoples comfort and feelings above her own and even though some of the girls at work scolded her for it as they didn't want her to be taken advantage of, Avery couldn't help it.

Xavier was lucky to have her be by his side, and with every step of the way, he also made sure no outside threat would get to her. Not like it would, but he could never be too careful. When he’s told him she wouldn’t go that far at calling her beautiful, he frowned slightly— he hoped he would be able to show her how beautiful she actually was one day—if she’d ever believe it.

Then, at her declaration of wanting to go to the underwater tunnel and then quickly adding she didn’t want to go if he was claustrophobic he shakes his head towards her.

“I’m alright with small, tight spaces,” he said and then cracked a joke, “Why, do you think it’s smaller and tighter than my coffin I sleep in?” Even though she knew he didn’t sleep in a coffin, but a large luxurious bed. He only made that joke because it had been rumored for quite some time that vampires slept in coffins. As for hybrids though.. that was, debatable.

He then took her hand and led her to the underwater tunnel, watching her and loving how excited she was when she was finally in one of her favorite places. He looked at fish she would point out to him and he would listen intently on what fish they were and what exactly each fish’s purpose was to the ocean.

Avery laughed softly at Xavier's joke with a small shake of her head, "Well, with how tall you are I can't be too careful" she teased him playfully as she let him take her hand and lead her to the underwater tunnel. She couldn't help but be excited to see all of the different fish along with the sharks as well, it was amazing and she was happy that she was finally there at the aquarium instead of having to change her plans to pick up shifts at work for different reasons.

As they walked through the tunnel Avery barely noticed that she was excitedly showing Xavier everything, when they got to the end of the tunnel Avery realised how much she had been talking and she blushed a little as she looked up at him almost embarrassed, "Sorry, I talked too much didn't I?" Avery asked softly looking very shy about the fact that she had basically been talking at him the whole time about things she was sure he probably either knew or had little interest in.

"I, um, I wanted to be a marine biologist when I was a kid" she said shyly explaining that that was how she knew so much about the fishes and the ecosystems of the ocean, Avery wasn't embarrassed about the fact that she had wanted to be a marine biologist she was simply embarrassed that she had talked so much like a little child who was explaining their favourite thing to an adult who was encouraging them to do so.

"You pick the next place we go" Avery said as she continued to blush a little, she had no doubt she was going to be thinking about the fact that she had talked Xavier's ear off for days after their date.

Xavier honestly didn’t mind hearing her talk to him, especially if it was something she was interested in. He wanted to be there for her, to support her in everything she wanted to do and set her mind to. When she apologized he shook his head and gave her a gentle smile, “No, I honestly loved hearing you explain things to me,” he told her now, and tilted his head a bit. “I think it’s cute,” he confessed now.

When she told him about her career idea, he thought about it a bit, “Well..why..don’t you go back to school?” He asked, knowing she was probably not going because of lack of funds or student loans, but he wouldn’t mind helping her in achieving her dream, if that’s what she wanted to do. But before she answered that, he was asked what exhibit he wanted to see he thought about it before looking at one of the signs, “How about the penguins?” He asked, knowing it was nearby the underwater tunnel.

Listening to Xavier as he said that he loved hearing her explain everything to him, Avery opened her mouth to try and tell him that he could tell her to be quiet if she ever did annoy him, but stopped when he said he thought it was cute making her blush. Ducking her head a little she looked down at the ground for a moment before she glanced back up at him when he asked why she didn't go back to school to be a marine biologist, shaking her head Avery looked a little embarrassed, "I get horribly sea sick, that is why I decided against it as a job" she said softly.

At the suggestions of going to see the penguins Avery nodded her head with a smile, "That sounds good" she said happily as she walked with him to go and see the penguins. "Since I talked your ear off about fish and marine life, you can tell me anything you know about penguins" Avery laughed softly as they reached the penguin enclosure, she noticed that she hadn't let go of Xavier's hand and Avery was happy that he was letting her hold his hand as long as he was. This was the loveliest date she had ever been on and she couldn't help but hope that Xavier would indeed take her out on more dates.

As more people began to move into the penguin area Avery let go of Xavier's hand and moved to stand in front of him so that she was out of people's way as she didn't want to get knocked over and standing in front of Xavier with her back against him seemed like the safest place.

When she told him she had became terribly seasick, he honestly was surprised. He would have never guessed and he gave a soft laugh, “Guess that makes two of us,” he admitted with a small laugh. He then turned and followed her to the penguin exhibit, happy to keep holding her hand.

Once she moved in front of him her wrapped his arms around her and placed his chin on top of her head. “Well unfortunately for you, I don’t know a lot about marine animals but I still wanted to bring you here,” he responded to her when she said he could talk her ear off. “If anything, I really…don’t know what to talk to you about so I guess that’s why I don’t mind you talking..” he seemed a little shy in his words, obviously a bit nervous with her around, as he truly hadn’t planned this far into the date and what he would talk to her about.

Avery placed her hands on top of Xavier's arms when he wrapped his arms around her, it felt so completely right being wrapped in his arms with his chin resting on the top of her head. Listening to him when he said that he didn't know a lot about marine life and that he didn't really know what to talk to her about which was why he didn't mind her talking she gave a soft laugh, "Okay, um, there are some penguins who partake in pebbling" Avery started with a small smile as she kept watching the little creatures in front of them.

"The male brings a small smooth rock to the female he wants to be his mate" she finished, in some ways those penguins who did partake in pebbling were no different from humans and their exchanging of engagement rings. "They're funny little creatures aren't they?" she asked softly with a small smile, "You don't need to talk to me about anything in particular Xavier, we don't even have to talk about the animals here" Avery said gently as she moved her head so that she could look up at him.

"Just being here with you is great" she said honestly as she blushed deeply at her own words.

Xavier went as far as to laugh a little about the pebble thing, before he thought on it. He wondered if a token of his love could be conveyed like this, with a pretty stone he found somewhere. Flushing ever so slightly the idea, he was drawn out of his thoughts by Avery.

“Thank you..I appreciate you being so kind” he responded to her words, which meant everything to him. And as she turned her head, he leaned down and kissed her suddenly, closing his eyes lightly and squeezing her sides ever so slightly while he had his hands wrapped around her waist for the time being.

He pulled away with a soft flush on his cheeks. “As I’m sure you’ve picked up on that you’re really the only human I’ve been in contact with for quite some time, so..I’m not really too familiar with socializing and, I apologize for that.” Up until now they had been only at a coffee shop and Xavier had talked to her quite well, but it was more mundane stuff and not ‘who are you’ kind of questions.

"I try to be kind" Avery laughed a little when he thanked her for being kind, but she gasped slightly when he kissed her suddenly, she hadn't been expecting him to kiss her at all. Quickly getting over the surprise she relaxed against him as she kissed him back happily, seeing his cheeks flushed lightly she smiled softly. "You have nothing to apologise for" Avery said gently with a small shake of her head, turning around in his arms she reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Normally Avery wasn't one to indulge in a lot of public affection but with Xavier it seemed to come so naturally to her that she didn't mind, "Considering I am the only human you've really been in contact with for a while, you are doing rather well" she said with a soft laugh. Avery was happy to spend the rest of the night just chatting with Xavier as they went from area to area in the aquarium, after they had seen the last area of animals Avery looked up at Xavier.

"Xavier, have you fed?" she asked him softly so that only he could hear her question, "Because if you haven't, if you like, you can at my house" Avery offered as she blushed a little. She had planned to go straight to bed after getting home from the date with Xavier as she had work in the morning but Avery was willing to stay up longer to make sure that Xavier at least had some blood.

Xavier was really grateful for Avery, she had turned out to be everything he could’ve wanted and needed— and much more than that. When they continued to talk and enjoy the rest of their evening together, he had kept hold of her hand. But when she asked if he had fed before telling him he could feed on her later did his cheeks flush ever so slightly.

“I think..I’ll take you up on that offer, but first, how about dinner?” He glanced over at the nearby restaurant which was inside of the aquarium. “Remember I wanted to take you here as well?” He asked, smiling slightly. He then walked them over to the hostess and he said they had a reservation for two. Soon, they were seated by a large tank full of fish, and the soft, teal glow would be casted over them and their table as they looked to the menu.

When Xavier blushed Avery couldn't help but smile a little, besides liking to hear him moan, Xavier blushing was becoming her second favorite thing. Glancing over towards the restaurant as soon as he mentioned dinner Avery nodded her head a little, "I almost forget you want to take me there too" Avery said honestly with a slight blush of her own. Sometimes her memory wasn't the best especially when she got very excited over things, letting him lead her over to the hostess Avery stayed quiet as he spoke.

Biting her bottom lip a little when they were seated by a large tank Avery couldn't help but be mesmerized by the beautiful lighting of where they had been seated. "You sure know how to treat a girl to a good time Xavier" she said with a soft laugh as she looked over the menu, everything sounded delicious but Avery wasn't feeling too adventurous when it came to food and so she ordered herself a simple spaghetti with a glass of red wine.

"I've never asked before, but, what do you do for work Xavier?" Avery asked curiously, she had never thought about asking him what his job was, if he had one, but she was curious and wanted to know more about him.

Xavier had ordered himself an 8 oz sirloin with a side of mashed potatoes and had also ordered himself a glass of wine to pair with it. He was happy that she was happy and when she said that he knew how to treat a woman, he continued to blush, although he didn’t mean to. He shyly glanced away, knowing his ‘tougher’ appearance didn’t do quite much in the face of Avery, who knew exactly how to make him, of all people blush.

When she asked him what he did for work, he had almost choked on his wine, remembering that he really didn’t need to work, due to his…let’s call it inheritance for now. “Ah..well,” he sighed looking down at his drink. “Some could say I’m a trust fund kid with an inheritance of sorts,” he tried explaining in the best way possible.

(She’s going to be surfing online and find Damian in one article and Xavier is there posed with the royal family in a picture XD)
