Game RP Psychic Romance (A pokemon Gijinki Rp) (open)

"I know... but I don't think my... appetites would ever be sated like that..." He replied softly, nuzzling her neck "When we leave though, then I'll treat you how you deserve..."

And it wouldn't be long until they were back on the road, Mimikyu freshly caught into a ball, the Gengar's ball marked with a black cross, to remind Kara never to let the creature out, except in the direst of circumstances. Zerek was smiling and laughing at a joke Kara had made on the walk, even as he thought ahead to the next evening, when they'd have some private time together.

(XD Phantoma: I should uh keep that Gengar ball safe.)

As they hit the roads again, Kara given a clean bill of health, atleast enough for the Monk to travel without a full nurse staff at her back, she had chartered their path across the temples roads, a massive plains road that had a strange way about it. It was rumored to criss cross and trick travelers all on its own to get lost or end up in loops.

("Is it possible for two mon to be in the same ball? J... Just to keep him subdued, obviously")

Zerek looked at the road ahead and groaned a little, remembering what she'd told him the day before "Oh come on, really? This road? Why can't we go the other way? Sure, it's longer, but... that's only if we don't get looped back on ourselves..."

"You've got no sense of adventure, and this is no mere walking tour. A pilgrimage is a test of one's self, to understand more. You cannot learn if you do not struggle." She said as she rolled up the map. "And I heard rumors that a mon eating beast lurked in the other roads." She teased

(XD "Man this ball is all ectoplasmy "

Zerek groaned again as she spoke "Adventure, I've got plenty of that... and I didn't ask to get dragged on a pilgrimage. I got shanghaied into it by a monk catching me" He sighed, before biting his lip and pressing his luck "Look, if I shut up and don't complain anymore, will you wear that kimono tonight? For real, rather than just a dream?"

"Heh, I'm a human, don't forget." She said petting tye back of his head gently. While she looked at him, her eyes flicked just to the side of his head, stopping mid step. Along the roads horizon, the tide of tall emerald like grass, dotted by bending, sprawling willows tees, something nagged at her vision. She frowned slightly, but couldn't place it. It didn't feel spiritual, nor could she feel the presense of anyone nearby. Was she merely jumping at shadows now? She pushed her thoughts aside, stroking Zereks hair as she turned to keep moving. The path had a subtle movement, a light bend.

Zerek laughed back as he pet his head, turning slightly so her hand rubbed against his ear before seeing her eyes flick and immediately turning, placing himself between her and whatever she'd seen, scanning the terrain for... nothing. He gently shifted, not seeing the movement she did, but then he sniffed the air and could catch traces of... something.

"Only a few can do so." She mumbled as she sensed the subtle change again, the loop, the trees that dotted the horizon that from what she noticed...didn't seem to actually break or wave in their pattern. Kara stopped on the road, looking around behind them as she reached to her robe, gently ripping a scrap off it to tie to a nearby tree.

Kara stroked his hand with her thumb gently as he clutched her so tightly, knowing that the idea of anything happening to her terrified him. She stayed close to him, not breaking their connection. The hill shifted, flattening, the sloping, mile after mile. The sun tipping lower and lower the grass that was so wild and high in the plains shuddering as the wind swept through them, howling and dragging over the pair. The setting of the sun brought out the first major change in terrain as well...a cut out on the side of roads, a pilgrim campsite. At the edge of the road was a small shrine of carved from wood and held a depiction of Palkia, the holy mon of space. It was worn, and mossy, an empty bowl of offerings laid at the deities feet.

Zerek saw the shrine and paused, frowning softly at the sight "Is... that supposed to be here?" He asked softly, moving to sit down as the sun finally began to set, signalling the end of the day "I guess... we're stopping here for the night?" He shrugged, pulling her down onto his lap, so she wouldn't have to sit on the hard ground.

"A pilgrims road to understanding is full of signs. The gods are giving us one." She said as she was in midst of going through her bag. But yelped as Zerek made himself her seat to rest on. "Mm, we should clean the shrine, and lay an offering to Palkia." She said as she shuffled her bag onto her lap. "I'm sure he would appreciate diligence on a forgotten shrine."
