Introductions Welcome New Users!

Hello! I am Moose (she/her) and I have never done a forum like this before so I am trying something new.
  1. I am a long term rper who has been in the game for about 10-15 years. I came to it a bit on the late side (post school unlike the wild ones who dipped their toes in during their teens).
  2. I love alternate universes, frequently with a D/s or Kink twist but not necessarily. I have admined rp games back when that was a big thing on tumblr and learned a lot over the years. I like creating a big universe and then playing out characters within that universe. I live for collaboration and mutual universe design. It just makes it more fun when everyone is vested in the world itself.
  3. I prefer third person typically but if first person really works for a thread or universe, I can try it out.
  4. Tip for newbies - trust yourself. If someone feels slightly off, then just move on to another rp partner or wrap the connection. Your mental health matters more than keeping a partner.
  5. Found this website on tumblr.

JustaFryed here folks. I tend to be referred to as Justa, or Fryed for short. I started RPing close to twenty years ago, but I took an extended hiatus for a few years and have recently returned about a year ago.
I enjoy writing several genres, though gory horror would likely be my favorite, with slice of life romances being my least favorite. I do human every day, so my characters are typically not human. I will write erotica, but I prefer if it is not the focus of the story. I very much prefer character development and plot. I typically write third person switching between past and present tense. I typically write three to six paragraphs. But have been known to do more when given more to work with.
Not sure if this would be a tip, or a preference, a partner that I communicate with well is much more enticing than any plot. It doesn't matter how enticing the plot, poor communication is a precursor to me losing interest.
I found RP Mansion by Googling adult role play sites. It was that simple. Well that about covers it. Hope this works as an intro and looking to write with a few of you soon.

Hello! I'm new to this site and am working my way around it. I can be shy but I'm working on that. I do tend to hide behind my characters... 😆
I'll start my intro using the suggested list...

- Who you are, and how long have you been roleplaying?
I'm a twentysomething girl who lives in the basement of my mothers house. I work and I have a lot of interests/hobbies; one being writing stories, creating characters, and roleplaying. I have been involved with one sort or another roleplaying for eleven years.

- What’s your favorite genre of rp? My usual RP genre is modern drama that can be light and fluffy or dark and disturbing. Erotic scenes is most always a part of the story, but not the primary activity of the story. Of course I may go for a one-off throw-down on occasion, but I usually prefer some story depth. I also write Middle-earth based stories within the lines of Tolkien canon. (fanon).

- What pov do you prefer to write in? Primarily 3rd. I've done 1st, but only because my co-writer liked it. It has its uses, but I had a hard time engaging.

- If you’re a veteran rp poster, what is one tip you’d give to new rp’ers? Don't hurry scenes, and don't write major actions for your co-writer's characters.

- How did you find this website? (for website traffic info purposes only) By accident. I went to the Xenforo site because of a problem I was having when I logged into Tolkien Forums, and there I found a list of roleplay sites and checked a few of the links. This place looked like a nice place to join since both Black Dahlia and Creative Freedom roleplay sites shut down within months of each other.

Anyway, that ended up being more in-depth than I thought it would be. I'll probably see how best to load some of my characters on here before I start looking for RP.

Hello, new to the site but not role play.

I am West Wynd, been doing role play for 15+ years. I am an older male and I'm looking for females to role play with.

I do mostly adult based role plays; kinky/BDSM, cuckold, domm, that sort of thing or genre (if that makes sense)

I usually write in either first or third person point of view.

I agree with the tip about when you post, post more than one sentence.

Looking forward to role playing!!!!

  • Who you are, and how long have you been roleplaying?
    • I like to be called Snipe online, I live in the central timezone, and I've been roleplaying since the early 00s (I started on a combination of Invisionfree forums, Gaia Online, and IMVU, if you want to carbon date me) and I've done so off-and-on in various forms ever since.
  • What’s your favorite genre of rp?
    • Adventure and romance. I like dark and mature themes, but it's a very 'depends on the current partner' kind of thing. I also really like vampires. 🩸
  • What pov do you prefer to write in?
    • Third person, generally, but I'm flexible.
  • If you’re a veteran rp poster, what is one tip you’d give to new rp’ers?
    • Learning to identify and explain your own boundaries as clearly and politely as possible is the biggest hurdle most people run into, in my experience. Too many people are overeager to be friends with everyone and end up saying they don't have boundaries, and it always ends up poorly. I'd rather someone either have clear boundaries, or admit that they're unsure on a subject, so I know they'll tap my shoulder if their feelings suddenly change. (I also say this as someone who used to have a lot more difficulty in expressing their own thoughts)
  • **OPTIONAL: How did you find this website?
    • One of your staff mentioned the website in an RP ad on Tumblr :p
