“No. Tell me now, Derek.” Kalin huffs, pouting at Derek and looking as if he was about to cry.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek frowns at Kalin's pouting, gently cupping Kalin's face in his hands and pressing their foreheads together. "It's nothing baby. I just grew up always being called names like that by my father and older brother. You didn't know so I don't blame you nor am I mad at you for it. I was just regaining my thoughts so we could enjoy our day."

Kalin pauses, “I’m only teasing, but I‘ll try to remember not to call you those kinds of names, okay?” He kisses Derek gently, “I don’t want to make you uncomfortable or anything.”

 

[Firestarter]

Derek kisses Kalin back before wrapping his arms around the other. "You don't make me uncomfortable Kalin. You're just being yourself and I wouldn't want it any other way."

“I won’t call you those things anyways. I’ll stick with babe and boyfriend.” He grins and then climbs from the car.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and climbs out of the car as well before draping his arm over Kalin's shoulder. "Now I want you to get your dream set of nails okay? Be as extravagant or as simple as you want to be. I just want them longer than normal." Derek kisses the side of Kalin's head as they walk into the salon.

Kalin hums, “You sit over there and I’ll show you when I’m done, okay?” He grins and pushes him towards a chair before walking over to his friend, “Cecilia, ha pasado un poco. ¿Cómo estás? Quiero algo un poco diferente esta vez, ¿puedes hacer esto?” He lifts his phone showing a picture to a woman about mid-thirties. He grins at her, hugging her.

“¡Pfff, claro que puedo! Siéntate y me pondré a trabajar.”

Kalin sits down, holding his hands out and closing his eyes. He converse smoothly with her as she gets to work, removing the soft pink nails from last time and cleaning his hands. She then gets colors and paints out, starting to do the new nails.

Derek sits in the chair and rests on leg on top of the other as he watches Kalin enjoy his small pampering. Hearing Kalin speak Spanish was still a surprise, but he liked how the accent sounded in Kalin's voice. Soon, Derek's phone starts to go off with an incoming call from his father. Derek ignores the call at first but growls angrily as it starts ringing again.

"Kalin, baby, I've got to take this. I'll be outside for just a moment." Derek stands from his chair and walks outside to answer the call, appearing obviously pissed off the second he answers the phone.

Kalin frowns slightly, looking after Derek and looking back to Cecilia. He looks down at his nails, watching her work. Derek’s reaction set him a little on edge.”

 

[Firestarter]

Derek remains on the call outside, yelling on the phone and clenching his fist for about 20 minutes before he ends the call. He then pushes his fingers through his hair with a heavy sigh before walking back into the nail salon, kissing Kalin on top of the head and sitting back down in the chair with a warming smile.

Kalin watches Derek, biting his lip harder. After another 30 minuets, Cecilia finished with his nails and he stood up, smiling at her and following her to the register, paying before walking back to Derek, “Are you okay?” He murmurs.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and stands from his chair before wrapping Kalin in a, tighter than normal, hug. "I'm okay. I'll tell you about it later. Now let me see those nails baby."

Kalin bites his lip and nods, pulling away and flashing his nails to Derek.

 

[Firestarter]

"They look amazing baby. I love them on you." Derek raises Kalin's hands up and kisses his fingers gently. "You are hungry at all? There's a small cafe not far from here if you want to go."

Kalin hums, pulling his hand back, poking his nose, “Careful, we’re in public, and it‘s not controlled.” He smiles and scrapes the nails down Derek’s chest, humming.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek growls and bites his lip. "So you're okay with going with me places and calling me babe in public while I wrap an arm around you, but no kissing?"

“Yes. The press will already have a field day if they see us like this, don’t need to give them more. And not to mention the people who could take pictures or film us.“

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiled and rolled his eyes. "Alright alright, whatever makes you comfortable. Now should we scurry into the car before someone sees you?" Derek teases.

Kalin smirks, “If you want me to press my nails into your skin~”

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles slyly at Kalin and gently nudges Kalin towards the door. "Then get going you little minx."

“Okay, okay,” Kalin walks out the door, going towards the car and sliding into it.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek climbs into the car as well and locks the doors behind them before pulling Kalin on top of his lap. "Dirty fucking tease."

Kalin hums softly, “You still can‘t fuck me though.” He trails his nails over Derek’s shirt.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek growls and grips Kalin's ass tightly. "I know that, and I also know that's why your being a bigger tease than usual."

Kalin groans softly, “Mmmhmmm?” He looks at Derek.

Derek growled and started kissing Kalin's neck just as a text came in on his phone, making his muscles flex with anger.

Derek gets a mouthful of makeup, because Kalin had covered his neck with makeup to hide the marks. Kalin blinks, “What’s wrong?”

 

[Firestarter]

After wiping his lips clean of make up, Derek clutches his phone angrily. "It's just my father....he's trying to meddle in things that have nothing to do with him." Derek's voice is low and filled with resentment.

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin frowns, “Like what?” He looks at Derek and smooth his fingers over his neck, smeering the makeup backik over the marks.

 

[Firestarter]

"Just things regarding my personal life outside of work. Nothing to concern yourself with baby." Derek smiles softly and cups Kalin's cheek with his hand, trying to keep Kalin calm and happy.
