Kalin blushes, "Jerk." He mumbles, taking a large bite of his food.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek chuckles and takes a bite of his food, eyeing Kalin playfully. "You say that, when really you know you want to call me sir...all...night...long."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin glares, "Well, it's nine in the fucking morning, so I'm calling you 'Jerk'. You have at least twelve hours to go before I call you sir."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek sighs and finishes his food before standing up, "I was just playing around." He rinses his dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and walking back to the bedroom to get ready for work.

Kalin puts away his dishes and follows Derek, "Babe- it's the weekend-" He flops onto the bed.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek continues walking to the bedroom and straps out of his clothes before walking into the bathroom.

"Babeeeeeee-" Kalin huffs, rolling slightly. He then gets up and follows him, "What if I don't want you to shower?"

 

[Firestarter]

"I need to shower....I was sweating." Derek says plainly, turning on the hot water before stepping in.

Kalin pauses and then sits on the counter, "I'm sorry. I forgot you don't like it when I call you a jerk." He swings his feet, "And I was playing around too, I didn't think your wouldn't pick up on it."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek remains silent and continues to enjoy his shower.

Kalin bites his lip, silent. He watches his feet, still kicking them back and forth. After a moment he sighs softly, "Enjoy your shower. I loveyou." He hops off the counter and goes out to the living room, flopping onto the couch and reading. (idfk where he got the book from, but he has it-XD)

 

[Firestarter]

After a couple minutes, Derek walks out with just a towel around his hips while water still clings to his back and chest. He stretches and flexes his arms as he passes Kalin on his way to kitchen to grab a drink.

Kalin looks up for a moment, tilting his head slightly and then looks back to his book.

 

[Firestarter]

After grabbing his drink and a secret piece of cheese, Derek passes by Kalin and gently stuffs the cheese into his mouth before walking away.

Kalin squeaks, chewing and sitting up, "Derek, babe!" He grumbles, "Not fair. . ."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek chuckles and walks back into the bedroom, picking out some clothes for the day.

Kalin keeps grumbles, getting up and going to the kitchen, grabbing more cheese.

 

[Firestarter]

After a few minutes, Derek walks out wearing some black cargo shorts, a thin, purple athletic shirt, and some sneakers. He runs a hand through his hair and grabs his keys from the bar.

Kalin peers over, "Where are you going?" He wanders over, stuffing a slice into his mouth.

 

[Firestarter]

"I was going to go to a few stores to window shop. Would you like to go with me?" Derek smiles.

Kalin chews his lip slowly, hesitating, "Um, yeah, actually, that sounds fun." He smiles and wanders over, kissing his cheek. "Let me get ready.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and nods, "I'll be out here waiting."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin ducks back into the bedroom and then after what seems like forever, he goes back over to Derek, taking his arm, "Soo. . . Where are we window shopping first?"

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and takes a small step back while still holding Kalin's hand, "Hold on. Let me just..." he trails off as he carefully spins Kalin around, checking out the other's clothing with a smile. "You always look so perfect."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin laughs, "I bet it has something to do with my ass?" He Snickers and looks over his shoulder at Derek, wiggling his hips playfully, "And my amazing smile."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek rolls his eyes and pulls Kalin into a warm hug, kissing the other's forehead softly. "While of course you are very sexy, your smile was and always will be my favorite part of you."

He squeezes Kalin very lightly before leading him to the garage, "I figured we could go to a book store, a couple clothing stores, and maybe even a bakery for something sweet if you like."

Kalin nods, "Books!" He bounces slightly, "I like to read when you're at work."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek chuckles lightly and opens the car door for Kalin, "Then lets go get you some new books to preoccupy you."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin slides into the car, "Say, how would you feel about me finding another job?" He tilts his head slightly.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek thinks for a moment as he climbs into the car, "Well, I guess it's not a bad idea if you are getting bored here at home. You know I'm not having a problem with taking care of you right?"
