General RP Damnit, There's Kids Now! (Firestarter)

Derek laughs and nods as he starts walking away, "and cheese."

After making a call to his lawyer and making sure everything is set up for them to start the adoption process, Derek walks back into the bedroom with a plate of cheese, crackers, and grapes along with some juice. "Here you go baby."

Kalin wiggles more, "Ooo, I love you!" He squeals, taking the plate and looking up at Derek, "Thank you."

Derek smiles and takes a seat next to Kalin before grabbing one grape, feeding it to the other. "You're welcome baby. I love you too."

Kalin looks at Derek and munches on the grape, "So, are we going to go for someone who looks like us, or not at all? Loud or quiet? Or--"

Derek leans back on his palms and thinks while looking up at the ceiling, "I like what you said before. Just whoever we fall in love with first. If he or she looks like us or not, they will still be our precious baby."

Kalin smiles softly, "Yeah. . ." He eats a slice of cheese and the offers Derek a grape.

Derek smiles and gently takes the grape from Kalin with his teeth, "My lawyer said he will call the local orphanage and get some information for us that way we can go there tomorrow."

Derek laughs and reaches up to pet Kalin's head, "It's just to talk to the owner and find out what the process would be. We wouldn't be able to just pick a kid up like nothing. They will need to do extensive background checks and tests on us."

Kalin grumbles softly and then nuzzles into his hand, "We need to decorate a room."

"We will. We have plenty of time." Derek leans over and kisses Kalin's forehead before climbing off the bed. "Once you're done eating, how about we go out to a few stores and look at some room decor?"

Derek laughs and shakes his head before walking over to the closet. "Don't choke please."

Kalin squeaks and chews slowly before swallowing, "I've had bigger mouthfuls and didn't choke."

Derek looks back at Kalin with a sly grin and winks, "Oh I think I know that, baby."

Derek bites his lip and shakes his head lightly before pulling on a simple muscle shirt and basketball shorts.

Kalin pokes him laughs, "Oh, babeeeeeee-" He kisses his cheek and then grabs a hoodie.

Derek chuckles and flexes his muscles as he walks away, "Don't tempt me, I'm already restraining myself as it is."

Kalin follows him, taking his arm, "I know." He leans into Derek, closing his eyes.

Derek smiles and leads Kalin through the house. After slipping on his running shoes and grabbing his wallet, Derek opens the door to the garage and helps Kalin climb into the car.

"I still think you look better in dress pants and shirt." Kalin laughs softly and pulls on his seatbelt.

Derek rolls his eyes and climbs into the car. "I know, but I feel like being lazy and comfy with my clothes today."

"So your ice clothes aren't comfy?" Kalin pouts and rests his head on Derek's shoulder.

"Well I can't really sprawl out and lift anything in them as easily." Derek says before motioning for the driver to take them into town. "I thought you would've liked being able to see my strong arms."

Kalin smiles, "I do, but there's just something about it. . . When the top few buttons are undone, and your sleeves rolled to the elbows. . ." He blushes slightly, "Black pants and shiny shoes--"

Derek smiles and leans close to Kalin's ear, "Don't worry, I'll get dressed up for you when we get home." He nibbles Kalin's earlobe softly before pulling away.
