Kalin stays dead silent, staring at Kas with wide eyes as he starts wiggling.

"See? He loves you too." Derek smiles.

Kalin stares at Derek like 'traitor'.

Derek laughs hard and shakes his head.

Demi smiles and claps her head, "Yay Papa!"

Kas starts wiggling more and Kalin whimpers, "Take hiimmm-"

Derek continues to laugh, falling back against the couch and getting distracted.

Kas keeps wiggling and squirming as Kalin tries not to drop the baby, "Derek!"

 

[Firestarter]

Derek slowly stops laughing and reaches over, taking Kas into his arms, "I'm sorry baby. You just looked so cute with him in your arms."

Kalin glares, crossing his arms, trying to stop his shocking hands.

Kas looks up at Derek and snuggles close

Derek smiles apologetically and presses a soft kiss to Kalin's cheek. "You did great though sweetie."

He pulls away, silent as he stares at the floor.

Javi laughs softly, ruffling Kalin's hair.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek leans over and kisses Kalin's cheek.

Demi giggles and reaches for Kalin, "Will you hold me too Papa?"

Kalin looks at her and picks her up, setting her on his lap.

 

[Firestarter]

Demi smiles and nuzzles into Kalin, "I love you Papa."

"I love you too Pumpkin." He murmurs, hurrying his face into her curls.

 

[Firestarter]

Demi giggles and holds Kalin tighter.

Derek smiles and wraps on arm around Kalin's shoulders.

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

He smiles, "What are you laughing at, pumpkin?"

Kas babbles softly, looking at Derek.

 

[Firestarter]

"I'm just so happy to have a family!" Demi says while looking up at everyone.

Derek chuckles and bounces Kas softly, "We're happy for you be in our family, sweetheart."

Kaln nods, closingg his eyes and keeping his face in her curls.

Javi yawns, "Whelp, I'm beat. Time to go for a- er, dinner."

Kalin snickers.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek looks up at Javi with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. "Oh really? Just dinner?"

Javi stares at Derek, leveling a glare at him, "Shut up, Mr. Y'all, Dark, and Handsome."

Kalin snorts, "Javi!"

 

[Firestarter]

Derek bursts out laughing as he stands up, playfully hitting Javi's shoulder. "Go on, player."

"Actually, I'm still with Emilee." He mutters.

Kalin blinks, "Wow, hitting three months?"

Javi glares at him, "Five, actually."

Kalin snickers, "She must really got it going."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and pats Javi's back, "That's great, Javi. Now don't keep her waiting." Derek turns to Kalin and gives him a playful glare, meant to warn Kalin of being a good boy.

Javi grumbles, "Whatever you guys. . ." He grabs his jacket, kissing Esmeralda on the cheek, who was looking very confused.

Kalin blushes, glaring back at Derek and sticking his tongue out.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek reaches out and lightly pinches Kalin's cheek before patting Demi's head. "So is anyone else hungry?"

Edmerlda perks up and goes to the kitchen, coming back with a plate of snack (Mexican, of course)

Kalin narrows his eyes at Derek

 

[Firestarter]

Derek boops Kalin's nose before taking the plate from Esmerelda, "Gracias, señora."

Demi looks at the plate and tilts her head, "What's that called?"

"(fuck if I know, I'm to lazy to look anything up RN)." Kalin mumbles, absently, staring at Derek with a death glare.

Esmerelda beams at Derek, "¡Mantienes a mi niño muy bien alimentado!"

Derek chuckles and nods, "Sí, claro. Siempre hay algo delicioso para comer en casa."
