Derek nods and looks down at Kas in her arms, hoping he doesn't cry.

Kas keeps his eyes closed, silent.

Kalin relaxes, sighting.

Esmerelda rubs Kas's back.

Derek slowly backs away and sits back down with Kalin, slumping back into the couch and letting out a long, heavy breath. "Thank...god...."

Kalin laughs softly, "Babe-" he giggles and hides his face in Derek's chest

Derek wraps his arms around Kalin tightly, enjoying whatever time he has to cherish Kalin. "Don't pull away. I need this."

Kalin giggles, "Okay, babe."

Demi smiles and looks up at Kas in Esmerelda's arms before walking over to Javi, lifting her arms up for a hug.

Javi grins and picks her up, swinging her around before setting her back down.

(Derek: has a fuck heart attack)

Derek's eyes widen and he damn near jumps off the couch before slumping back again. "Oh my- I can't watch that again." He groans and covers his face with his hands, trying to calm down.

Demi giggles and jumps up and down, "Again again!"

Kalin grins, leaning into Derek.

Javi grins and swings her around again

Derek's arms flex as he fights the urge to run up and grab Demi, wanting to protect her. "Okay, okay. I think you've tested my heart enough. Anhmore and I might literally have a heart attack."

Demi giggles and claps her hands happily. "That's so much fun!"

Javi laughs, grinning at Derek as he picks Demi up, holding her close.

Demi smiles and hugs Javi tightly.

Derek slumps back on the couch and covers his face, "Breathe....just breathe....." He murmurs to himself.

Kalin places his hand on Derek's chest, "It's okay babe."

Derek smiles as he looks at Kalin, "I know...it's just..a lot."

Kalin kisses his cheek and then jaw, "You'll get used to it."

Derek smirks and laughs a little, "We both will."

"I wasn't the one freaking out." He Snickers and stands

Derek laughs and pulls Kalin into a warm embrace, "Yeah, but you were getting jealous over my time."

Kalin grumbles, "Shoosh."

Javi Snickers, shaking his head.

Kas babbles softly, waking up slowly and squirming in Esmerelda's grasps.

Derek laughs and kisses Kalin's cheek.

Demi giggles before looking over at Kas, "Baby brother is waking up."

Kas squirms more, starting to fuss.

Kalin smiles and nods, watching as Esmeralda carries Kas back over to Derek.

Derek smiles and carefully scoops Kas up into his arms, bouncing him softly. "Such a fussy thing."

Kas blinks and looks up at Derek, babbling happily and waving his hands.

Kalin smiles and catches one of Kas's feet, laughing softly as he goes silent, confused.

Derek chuckles softly and tries to hand Kas over to Kalin, "Come on, you know you want to hold him too."

Kalin scoots away, "Noon, nope, nada, not doing it-"

Kas looks up at Derek, pouting.

Derek rolls his eyes and scoots closer to Kalin, "He's going to think you don't love him. I also don't think your mom will be very happy with you if she doesn't see you holding him."

Kalin bites down hard on his lip, gently taking Kas from Derek, looking as if he was holding a ticking bomb.

Derek chuckles and remains close to Kalin, watching intently to make sure nothing happens.
