Fantasy RP Kindness Goes A Long Way

The jolt of the car speeding off almost made Tora fall over the seat, her claws digging in to base her. She looks to Syra driving then to Aaron knowing he just wanted to protect her. Turning her head away she eventually calms down “I know, you scared me is all” she murmurs. Retracting het claws she crawls over to him to curl up in his lap if he let her.

Aaron swallows softly and wraps his arms around Tora, pulling her close to his chest. "I'm sorry...." he murmurs softly, burying his face in her hair. "I didn't mean to scare you." Syra glances at them in the rear view mirror and sighs. "I should've gotten here sooner. That would have been avoided if I did." Her speed doesn't slow down, refusing to give Daisy and Lobo a chance to get close. "We will have you guys on a boat and on your way to my private island in just a short while."

A deep breath through her nose and his scent calmed her further, nuzzling him with a smile on her lips. She turns her head a little to see Syra up front “best hunters in the world” reminding the woman. “They were just playing too, thinking you guys didnt mean harm” she explains. She snuggles back into Aaron beginning to feel dizzy from the motion of the car.

Syra grinds her teeth and shakes her head. "I'm sure he gives them special treatment to get such loyalty from them. Disgusting..." Aaron let's out a shuddering breath as Tora nuzzles into him. "I would've told you, but that would defeat the purpose of catching them off guard." His muscles flex as he remembers their words, their threat to end his unborn child's life. "They're going to pay for what they said."

She can understand that just wished it never had to happen nor hear the ugly words spoken. Tora whines hearing Aarons words “don’t listen to them” she murmurs, wanting to reassure him. Moving her hand to squeeze his muscles along his arm gently. She lets out a soft groan of discomfort, hiding in his arms once more.

"Shhh... it's okay. We'll be away from here soon." Aaron coos softly, petting Tora's hair softly. Looking up at Syra, he sighs softly and nods as a silent thank you. Syra gives a sympathetic smile as she speeds back into the city. Receiving a message from Gron and Rud that Daisy and Lobo have been restrained during their sleeping state makes her smile wider and let out a soft breath. "Well, at least Gron and Rud were able to tie those two up for a little while. They might be strong, but even knives have trouble cutting through the knots those two can make."

Tora shook her head to his words, she was no longer scared just uncomfortable and dizzy. She settles in his lap, eyes tightly closed with slow breathing to keep herself focused. She did listen in between Aaron and Syra, curious those two actually got knocked out cause their handler was always near by. They were probably waiting til the men move on as killing the canines would put a bounty on their heads in addition to stealing Tora.

Finally reaching the docks, Syra pulls the car over and climbs out to help grab the duffle bags. Aaron continues to cradle Tora close, kissing the side of her head gently. "We're hear, baby." He murmurs softly, carefully climbing out of the car and carrying her towards Syra's yacht. Syra leads the way, signaling the staff to get a move on with readying to boat. "You two will be safe soon. This yacht is untraceable, even the coast guard has been paid off so they won't stop you."

The stopping of the vehicle was a sigh of relief for Tora but still did not wish to move. It was like Aaron read her mind, informing her of where they just arrived along with carrying her out. She picks up her head and was in awe of the boat before her and the vast water ahead. They would be untraceable and her scent would be cut off here so…they were in the clear! “How long is the boat ride to the island?” She asks.

"It'll take you about three days to get there. The captain tends to sail her relatively quickly, so that helps." Setting the duffle bags down on a large, soft couch, Syra turns and smiles at the two. "Don't worry. You're in good hands, sweetie." Aaron nods and lets out a heavy breath. "Thanks again Syra. I'll hold good on my promise..." Syra nods and walks away to find the captain as Aaron continues to carry Tora below the deck. "Lets get you patched up and just cuddle for a bit, yeah?"

Narrowing her eyes a tad she glances to the side wondering if that was long for a boat trip, Aaron didnt seem fazed. She nods in understanding, waving to Syra as Arron carries her below deck. At this point Tora became rather quiet, she sat still for Aaron not reacting to anything as he patched her up. She was deep in thought, ugly memories surfaced seeing those two.

Carefully applying antibiotics cream to Tora's shoulder, Aaron tries to remain calm and not think about how close those got to her. "Are you okay? I know that having those two around must have brought back some old memories." He places a large bandage on her shoulder before pressing a soft kiss to it, wrapping his arms around her waist and rubbing her belly gently.

Blinking back into reality she glances over to him with a small smile, appreciating his work on fixing her up. She checks over the bandages to ensure they weren’t too tight or sticky. His voice she found settling back his words did not bring her peace “Yeah, I am okay” she murmurs. His touch on her belly made her tense up, ears pinning back in reaction. She completely forgot about it for a short while “I am still scared about the kit though” she admits. Tora wanted to know more to prepare but she wasn’t certain if she was capable of raising a kit.

Aaron frowns and holds her a little tighter, feeling his own fears rise. "I know, I am too. I have no idea how to be a father." He lets out a soft breath before scooping her up and cradling her to his chest, her warm, soft fur helping to calm his own nerves. "But I know we can do it. We'll research whatever we need and work together, no matter what."

A weight lifted from her shoulders to him voicing his own concerns, she wasn’t the only one. She presses into his chest rising soft purrs to aid him. “We can research all we want…I have never been around kits” she shrugs, lowering back her ears as she looks up to him. “I dunno what to do or to expect”knowing it greatly hurt her heart when she heard the canines mentioned the punishment awaiting her at the hell house. Lucio was certainly rid the child, pretend it never existed to ensure her bloodline. But Onyx and Syra seemed to have such a higher understanding than Tora did. “Like what other effects am I gonna have with pregnancy? How long is it gonna be? Do I need to do things to make sure all is well in there? Then when the kit is born…” she sighs with a shake of her head. Unaware they had about three months give or tale til the kit arrives into the world.

"Shh, shh, shh. Don't stress yourself out. We will work this out no matter what. One thing I do know about parenting is that it's constant learning and growing. There is no right way to raise children. Everyone is different." He cups her cheeks softly, nuzzling her nose with his own while closing his eyes. "I know that the birth can be a messy process, but it'll be worth it in the end. One thing I can say you should expect is to get hungrier and see your belly grow with them." Pulling back he smiles at her while caressing her cheeks with his thumbs. "Just know that no matter what you are always going to be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."

Tora takes a deep breath to settle her racing thoughts, focus on his words, his reassurance was amazing. She smiles pressing her face to his after his adorable eskimo kiss “okay” she whispers in acceptance. Looking down she runs her hand over her belly “I already am always hungry” she giggles “but you mean my tummy will like swell?” She hums curious to how that will look. Gaining weight always felt impossible for her. “And this queasy feeling is that normal too? While in the car I just felt nauseous” she explainsz

Aaron smiles and gently rubs her belly as well, imagining it grow with their child. "Yep, it'll look like you swallowed a watermelon whole." He chuckles softly, looking back up into her eyes with affection. Her innocence was still so pure. It was something he plans on protecting until the day he dies. "It's normal to feel a little sick. It's actually called morning sickness, but unfortunately can hit you at any time. It's just your body changing so it can grow a healthy baby."

Tora giggles liking his example of how big she may get as the kit grows, securing her concern of being nauseous. She nods her head meeting his eyes, leaning up to peck his lips lightly “I will tell you, I hate doctors but I want some sort of check up, make sure my wounds are properly healing and lil sunshine is alright in there” smiling to the thought. It would be her mission to stay healthy, start everything right for her kit to be happy and healthy. “Now, do they serve food on this thing?” She giggles.

Aaron laughs and nods, petting Tora's hair. "Of course, baby. We will get you an appointment with the best doctor. As for your food request, I already know Syra's spoiled ass has a chef on board with some of the best ingredients. I'll have him whip something up for you." Kissing her cheek softly, Aaron stands up from the bed and slowly walks out of the room as the yacht starts it journey.

At the same time, Syra lounges out on the couch and sighs softly, trying not to flip out over having to run further away from Lucio instead of tracking him down. "Slimy son of a bitch..."

Leaning into his touch with loud purrs she felt so much better in his presence so him leaving made her pout. Her experience with food
Will greatly grow now that she gets full meals. Problem was she found herself with motion sickness as a symptom of expecting. By time Aaron would return he would find poor Tora hunched over a bucket, puking.

Back on the main land Lobo and Daisy were freed, returning back home to report the mission a failure. They were not punished as it was their job to simply find her, a bonus of returning her home. But Lucio was pissed to the knowledge Tora got herself knocked up “we will wait her out, let her have the kit, then we bring her home, less blood on my hands and less likely her lack of purity will get out” talking out his plan.

Aaron frowns as he steps back into the room, going to Tora's side and holding her hair back. "I'm so sorry sweetie. I'm going to see if Syra has anything to help after we get you cleaned up." It breaks his heart to know there's little he can do. Whether they liked it or not, Tora would be going through hell and back just to grow their kit, not to mention when she births them. "Maybe we should have you go back up onto the deck to get some fresh air."

Tora did not hear her dear Aaron return to her rescue. He was kind by holding her hair out of the way while he spoke of a way to soothe her upset tummy. A few more heaves, and she was finally able to sit up with a soft whine, "This is not fun. " Knowing it was the pregnancy, at least they were safe. If this was the worst for now, then she would happily take it. She reaches up to her clothes, wiping her mouth "I would not mind some fresh air, see the water as the boat glides across the surface," speaking as though a line out of a book. Tora never learned to read, but servants who were not afraid of her would let her watch movies and read to her.

Aaron smiles and raises his eyebrows, intrigued by her choice of words. "A little linguist are you? Well lets not keep you from seeing the crashing waves and salty sea air, mademoiselle." Scooping Tora up in his arms, Aaron kisses her cheek and carries her back up to the deck before setting her down. "Make sure you hold onto the railing if you go near the edge." Thinking things over for a moment and remembering how energetic Tora can get, Aaron shakes his head. "Better yet, just don't go near the edge, I'd rather you stay right by me just in case." His arm wraps around her waist gently to help support her as the waves cause the boat to rock gently. The briny air blows through their hair as the sounds of seagulls calling over head can be heard.

Tora did not understand the word he used, but it made her giggle that he understood she wanted to see the waves of the ocean around them while on their journey to safety from her past. She curls her tail around his arm while he carries her up to the top deck once more, taking a deep breath, she could sense the salt in the air due to the water, even taste it from how thick it held the wind. She was ready to take off to the edge, peering over, but Aaron thought it best she keep close to him so going overboard was not a worry. "Wow, never smelled the sea, it is so salty and wild" she squeals, already seeming to feel better. "Only seen it in movies or tried to imagine it from the books read to me," she explains with a sigh, leaning against his chest. "the world is so big, I hope to see it," she admits a dream out loud.

The scent of the salty air was something Aaron could never forget. Being anywhere the ocean was just felt right for him. Hearing that Tora enjoys it only makes his heart soar. "Well now you not only get to see it, but sail it as well." Moving to stand behind her, Aaron rests his arms over her shoulders and pulls her closer against his chest. "I promise I will show you the world, Tora." Leaning down, he presses a kiss to the top of her head before resting his chin there. "I also wouldn't mind reading to you if that's something you'd like."

To sail, to swim, simply watch the waves Tora found herself feeling content with the idea of water. Most felines would avoid it but she had genes of a strong swimmer in her. She smiles feeling him hold her close the weight of his chin atop her head. “Maybe I should sleep up here, avoid puking” she jokes, knowing she had to sleep down in a bed where it would be warm.

Aaron huffs a sarcastic laugh, "Yeah, like ima let you stay up here at night. It gets super cold in the middle of the ocean. Nice try." As if reading the room, Syra eventually walks up with a tray of cheeses, crackers, and fruits. "I figured you to would like a snack while we wait for the cook to finish making us all a proper meal." Aaron smiles and nods softly before grabbing a slice of watermelon and holding it up to Tora's lips. "Here you go, baby."

That didn’t make sense, why was it so warm now but at night it grow cold? She glances toward sun wondering if that had something to do with it. Tora blinks back to the approach of Syra offering a platter of snacks while they wait for dinner. Her nose twitches to what was offered from Aaron “what is that?” She questions.

Aaron chuckles softly and leans down to press his cheek against Tora's. "It's watermelon, a sweet fruit that is really juicy." Syra giggles softly and takes a small peice of cheese for herself. "Most animal rescues will give full tigers an entire watermelon to play with and snake on during warm days. The sugar and the water from it are rather refreshing." Aaron rolls his eyes at Syra's technical explanation before taking a small nibble from the side of the watermelon slice. "See? It's tasty. If you don't like it though, I will give you something else."
