Fantasy RP Kindness Goes A Long Way

Her hands would knead with good pressure over his knots, adoring the sounds he made. Tora felt so proud she was able to at last offer him something for all he has done for her. His question of the origins of this skill made her sigh.

Continuing her work, really getting in there as she spoke “I learned from another, she was his favorite before me” glancing to the side. She didn’t like remembering that far back. Balling her hands into fists she pressing down his back in circular motions.

Tora sat back “That should do it for now” moving to sit at his side, a smile on her face.

Aaron could hear the shift in her voice, knowing something was wrong. Sitting up as she finished, he shook out his arms and stretch from side to side with a satisfied groan. "Oooh, that feels so much better."

Turning to face Tora, Aaron smiles and cups her cheeks softly. "Thank you." He presses a soft kiss to her forehead before pulling her into a warm embrace. "I hope you know that I will never let anything happen to you."

Her smile grew seeing him release all the tension from his body, she wanted to do more for him. He deserved so much for protecting her. She met his gaze, his hands gently squishing her cheeks as he pressed his lips to her head. Made her heart flutter and her fur spike up in excitement.

“Aaron…” she spoke his name, cuddling into his embrace “do you love me?” She drops a rather heavy question. Only from books she has understood romance, he was like a knight in shining armor.

Love...something that had been forgein and taboo to Aaron for quite sometime. During his time in Syra's organization, Aaron had strayed away from relationships for fear of his partner getting hurt. With Tora though, he couldn't imagine being anywhere other than by her side.

Leaning his head down, he buries his face in her hair and takes a deep breath to steel his nerves. "I love you very much, Tora. More than I thought I was capable of." His arms tighten around, as if she would disappear if he let her go.

The silent was heavy, worry setting in her mind as she waits for his answer. She shifts a little in attempt to see his face but he buried himself into her further. A smile grew as her ears lower hearing his words, her heart took flight, feeling safe and warm inside. “I love you too, Aaron. More than I thought I deserve” she whispers not minding his squishing hug.

Tora breathes through her nose taking in his scent “you smell like home” she adds, closing her eyes. Easily the tiger could fall asleep like this.

His heart swells, finally finding someone in his life that wouldn't run away because of his past. Even with the way furries were treated in their world, furry hunters are still seen as ruthless and blood thirsty beings. It didn't matter that he never took part in it. Aaron's real last name was enough to turn him into an outcast.

"You deserve so much more, Tora. I just hope I can give you at least a fraction of it." Carefully moving back on the bed, he lays down with her in his arms. Despite being just a human, he can't help but inhaling deeply while keeping his face buried in her hair. "You smell like my whole world, baby."

Snuggling into his frame she smiles brightly knowing full well she was loved and safe. She slipped away into the dream realm, though her body safe her mind was still trapped. Within her dreams they fell into nightmares, reminders of what or more like who was after her. Lucio is not happy with her, especially now she is pregnant. The nightmare was horrid, being captured, restrained and forced to endure an abortion, after so she is beaten and scolded. At last Tora gasps, waking in a jolt, panting she looks around her to get her bearings.

The jolt of his beloved causes Aaron to spring up from the bed with his muscles flexing and his adrenaline racing. For a moment, he forgets that they are in the middle of the ocean with no way of being tracked or ambushed. Steeling his nerves, Aaron places a gentle hand on Tora's shoulder. "Baby? Are you okay? Was it a nightmare?" He could imagine the horrible things that ran through her head. Having heard quite a few things from Syra over the years, he knew that Lucio was a rather ruthless man who saw nothing wrong in harming those around him.

His reaction to her waking in such a fashion did not help calm her but at least she saw he was there. Tora looks left to right then the door, flinching when touched. She takes deep breathes while nodding her head in response to his question of it being a nightmare. Explaining to him would simply upset them both “bucket.” Pointing before covering her mouth. A sensation of nausea cover coming her again.

Swinging his legs out of bed, Aaron quickly grabs the small trashcan in the corner of the room. Getting it to Tora just in time, he moves to hold her hair up while rubbing her back slowly. "It's okay, baby." He feels terrible, somewhat blaming himself for her nausea. If he had just been smart enough to where a condom, but then they wouldn't have the joy of knowing they were going to have a kit together.

His swift action offered the chance to not get puke all over herself, along with holding back her beautiful hair. It was a quick action, panting heavily for a few minutes before she set the can down. Letting out a whimper she cuddles into Aarons frame “can we take a quick shower?” She asks of him. “The water will help” adding her reasoning. Wash away the nightmare and her nausea in one go though she felt this was more stress related than the kit. Tora wished they had a doctor to examine her, to be sure she was pregnant but symptoms dont lie.

She was so vulnerable that it broke Aaron's heart. Being such a majestic creature, Tora should feel strong, powerful, but thanks to Lucio she was shy and nervous. Looking down to meet her gaze, Aaron smiles and nods softly. "Of course we can. Come here..." lifting her up carefully, Aaron heads into the bathroom and turns on the water. "Would you like to talk about your nightmare or just try to forget about it?"

Hearing the sound of the water already brought her a sense of calm, and slipping into the tub once she pulled off her clothing, her worries melted into the water. She glances over to Aaron, not liking his question, she does not wish to talk about it, which he could tell by the pout on her face. "What time is it?" Knowing it must still be dark out but also hoping no one else was walking about to her wake from such a nightmare, she knew it would not be the last which sucks as she adores naps.

Aaron nods softly at her adorable pout, understanding the silent refusal to talk about her nightmare. Such terrors were not new to him, having dealt with them himself when he was younger. "It's about 3:30 in the morning. I'm sure everyone else is still asleep except for the night shift crew." Leaning against the wall, he smiles and crosses his arms over his chest, admiring her beauty despite everything. "Are you hungry or anything? I don't mind sneaking into the kitchen to whip you up something."

Lowering down into the water so only her eyes were above, watching him while in thought. This early in the morning and he suggested a snack, sneaking into the kitchen even. She was intrigued. Tora dips her head fully into the water before sitting back so the water came up to her torso. “Sounds fun” wondering what he could wrestle up. “But…” she adds with a sigh “I really need to catch up on my sleep with or without nightmare’s” she admits.

Moments after finishing het last word a sharp gasp sounds from her, she hunches over with a groan. “Ow!” Whining as she shifts to get herself comfortable. Suddenly the water started to turn red.

He smiles at first, loving the cute way she moves in the water. How he got so lucky to be with her he will never understand. He sudden whining makes him flinch.

Aaron's eyes widen in shock and his heart sinks as he watches the water turn red. "Tora!" Dropping to his knees beside her, Aaron reaches into the water and places his hand on her stomach. "What's wrong? Is it your stomach?" He tries to keep his voice steady, beating down the panic he feels inside for both Tora and their kit.

Her ears pin back, her body flinching at his touch on her stomach. "Something is wrong," she answers him, forcing herself to climb out of the tub, hating the sight of the water going from clear to red. Between her thighs, it was a watery, bright red inkling down as she quickly curled up in a towel on the floor. "It...it hurts!" whining out, trying to pace her breathing so she would not pass out from hyperventilating.

The sight of Tora curled up on the floor breaks his heart. Without hesitation, Aaron scoops her up carefully and holds her close. "Shhh.... it's okay, it'll be okay." Carrying her out of the bathroom and onto the deck, he lays her down on a small sofa. "SYRA! GET OUT HERE!" Only a few moments later, Syra runs out in her satin pajamas, phone in hand. "What the hell- Tora, oh dear god..." her thumbs tap her phone screen at lightening speed. "Tale some deep breaths if you can, Tora. I'm getting you help right now."

"Aaron!" Tora squeaks out in surprise as a sharp pain overcame her, hands grasping tightly onto his chest to balance her from the motion of him running up to the deck. She winces once she is set down on the couch, groaning softly. She closes her eyes, only her ears perking up when Aaron screams out for his dear friend, then twitching at the sound of Syra arriving on the scene. Not understanding what was happening, Tora had a small inkling that it was her kit; the thought of seeing a doctor was a warning, and now they were here. Reaching out, she grasps Aaron's hand, gripping onto him tightly as though trying to stay in reality, stay with him. How Syra was getting help, Tora had no clue. Was there a doctor on the ship? A nurse, even? Who knew but Syra had her connections that was a sure thing.

Aaron frowns and holds Syra close, resting his forehead against hers. "It's okay baby, I'm here. I'm not going anywhere." Petring her hair softly, he fights back his own fear and emotions to stay strong for his white tiger. Syra stares with concern filling her eyes. All they could do was wait for now. It would only take a small amount of time, but even that could feel like eternity. Doing some research on her phone, Syra finds many articles talking about how this sort of things happens at times, not always resorting in tragic endings, but she still worries.

After a grueling 20minutes, Onyx is lowered down from a helicopter with her medical bag. She could sense Tora's pain before even catching a glimpse of her. "Tora, honey? Can you tell me what it is you're feeling?"

Deep breaths were taken, her eyes closing once more with small whimpers, Aaron's scent overtaking her oxygen, which she preferred anyway. Uncertain of how long she had been writhing in pain, almost like contractions, but little did they know she was carrying twins, and one was far too weak to hang on any longer in these early stages. If her bleeding did not stop soon, then there was a chance she could also lose the other as well. Above, she heard the whirring and whipping of some machine closing in, which of course spooked her into hiding within her towel, unable to sense that Onyx had arrived as her saving grace. Hopefully, she was not followed by those in search of the pretty tiger.

Syra frowns and quickly sets on getting a bowl of hot water and a rage while Onxy kneels down in front of Tora. She reaches out place a gentle hand on her stomach, trying to feel for any harsh muscle tensing. "Tora, sweetie. It's me, Onyx. I need you to come out of the blanket so I can help you."

Aaron swallows thickly, trying to remain calm. While being grateful that Onyx can now help, he still feared for Tora and their kit. If inky they had known about it being twins, then he might have taken more precautions with her. "Tora, baby girl, come on, help is here."

As the helicopter retreated, needing to land elsewhere to throw off any trail, Tora did not move until she heard it was far away, even Onyx touching her did not cause a flinch, she was too frightened by the noise, she was frozen. Finally, she took a deep breath, hearing Aaron's cry to oblige with the help given to them. She peeks out, her piercing eyes landing on Onyx, her ears perk forward out of curiosity. "How did you get here?" she questions, forgetting the pain for a moment. Then another strike brought her back to reality, "Ah...ow!" clenching her teeth with a sharp breath. "Um, can you tell me what is wrong?" she questions, shifting a little to lie more on her back.

Onyx frowns and nods softly, reaching into her bag to grab her stethoscope. Pressing the cool metal ring to Tora's stomach, she listens closely. The sound of the fading heart beat mixed with the stronger one rings in her ears. " Unfortunately, it appears one of your kits isn't going to make it. The fetus is too weak. If we act quickly, we can save the other one." Reaching into her bag, Onyx searches for some medication to help slow Tora's bleeding if not stopping it.

Aaron freezes at that Onyx says, his eyes widening with shock. "Wh-what? One....of the kits? Tora has been pregnant with twins?!"

Gasping softly to the sheer chill of the instrument Onyx wield, she stop her staring. She saw blood, her tummy seemed to move and flinch with each pang that inflicted her. Tora slowly raises her gaze to Onyx, her mouth moving but the words took a few extra seconds to hit. Glancing toward Aaron she felt his panic about the mention of possible twins. But she was losing one, she couldnt believe it.

Aaron's gaze meets Tora's, his heart breaking and his fear growing. He can't barely the thought of something happening to either Tora or their kits, but there was nothing he could do. Reaching out, he cups her face in his hands and presses his forehead to hers. "I'm sorry, Tora. I'm so fucking sorry." He murmurs softly, blaming himself.

Onyx frowns as she pulls out some medication, pouring two pills into her hand. "While this is a very unfortunate situation, it is actually quite common for a twin to not make it. There's not really anything that could have been done." Syra returns with the bowl of hot warm and a rag just as Onyx finishes speaking, wetting the cloth and gently laying it on Tora's stomach. She growls and glass of water as she sees the pills in Onyx's hand, holding it out for Tora to take. "It'll be okay, Tora."

His panic, fumbling down to guilt, made Tora whine, grabbing at him to comfort him instead of herself. She closes her eyes with their forehead pressed together, knowing he is trying to be there for her. "It'll be okay," she whispers, opening her eyes when feeling the rag upon her from Onyx, followed by the offer of medication and water. She pins back her ears with uncertainty, slowly taking the glass and small pills, sniffing them, which resulted in her rejecting them, "ew!" sticking out her tongue in disgust. Tora never has had to take pills, any medication was given through a shot or mixed into juice for her to drink. She holds her hand out for Onyx to take away the pills, not seeming to even think about taking them, no matter what they will aid with.

Currently, losing one twin was common, especially in her situation of being a first-time mom, under a lot of stress, and constantly uncomfortable due to not having a home or nest. If the bleeding won't stop, she may lose the entire pregnancy, which would devastate the couple further. Though all of this was fast, Aaron seemed to have grown attached to the idea of Tora expecting, a kit of his flesh and blood being brought into the world. Tora was still wrapping her head around it.

Onxy frowns and sighs softly, figuring Tora would never have been expected to take pills before. Most furries never did, their animal instincts making it difficult for them to do so. "You'll have to take these in some way, Tora. Otherwise, you will lose the other kit as well." Setting the glass of water down, Onyx pulls out a small pill crusher and mashed them into a fine powder. Pouring the medication into the water, she gives it a quick stir before holding it out for Tora to take. "I know you wouldn't want to lose your kit. It would be even more heart breaking for the both of you."

Aaron frowns and gently takes the glass from Onyx's hand, holding it close to Tora's lips. "Please, baby, just drink it really fast. I don't want anything to happen to you." He could only imagine what the medicine smelt like, not having such heighted senses as Tora, but it would destroy him inside if something happened to her as well as the remaining kit. "I'm so sorry for putting you in this situation, Tora. I promise I will make it up to you."

Recoiling her hand with disgust once Onyx took hold of the pills once more, she clearly didnt trust the pills. They smelled weird and taste was out of the question. She watches their doctor friend crush up the pills, stirring them into water while explaining they must be taken somehow. Tora pins down her ears when the water was offered to her again, not wanting to drink it. This was annoying, she wanted to keep her kit but was this truly how it must be handled?

She blinks when Aaron came into her view encouraging her to drink, his soft concerned tone calming her. Closing her nose and eyes she gulps down the water with his help. Once the glass was empty Tora coughs, panting a few times as her body shuttered from the experience. “Ew” sticking out her tongue but she got it down.
