General RP Zombies and Mistrust

While the scout and the dog watched eachother, unable to split off while Reo waded through the city. The pharmacy that the city stalker had mentioned was just down the block. A tall sign flickering on and off, unregulated power surging through it. A decent sized convenience store/pharmacy that had the last stocks of his medications... hopefully. The windows were shattered on one sight, but someone had replaced them with barricades of steel and junk. The doors chained up, and paneling slapped over the glass. Spray painted on with black paint were two words. NO. ENTRY.

Reo stares at the sign, frowning slightly and peers inside, trying to decipher if there were any zombies inside the building. After a moment, he shook his head and then moved to the chain, tugging on it slightly, careful not to make too much noise.

He frowns and then sighs heavily, he couldn't put enough force to break the chain, and he really didn't want to pull the panels off the windows. He bites his lower lip, the shrugs and moves to a window and starts tugging at the wood, trying to pull it off.

(XD all the muscle men are zombies-)

Coming around the lot and down the side of the pharmacy, he saw a fence, chain link, about 8 feet of token effort to counter theft. Over the top was razor wire that would slash up a climber...but laying iver it was a low tech solution. Somone had thrown a car floor mat over it, using the think padding likely to avoid getting absolutely bled out. Through the fencing He could spot the loading area, some abandoned trucks, some load picked over palettes and scattered junk. People had definitely been raiding in and out if here...

Reo stares, biting his lip, "Fucking hell. . ." If he climbed up enough and got cut by the wire, he'd bleed out for sure. He shakes his head and tossed his staff over the fence before jumping up and climbing towards the mat. He reaches it and carefully holds it in place as he swings over it.

He manages to get over and slide down unscathed, quiet.

Landing on the other side he didn't hear anything in the area moving, the loading bays were blocked with the loading trailers, still left in place...the trucks that once held some of them hanging doors wide open, dried blood and grime spilling out of only 2 of cabins, the backdoor of the pharmacy was a thick metal door that was hanging off its hinges..sheared and shredded by some power tool long ago. A wooden barricade was set up inside the door way, caked in decayed blood and God knows what. The lights inside were flickering in abd out, the blocked windows making it nearly pitch black in there.

Wrenching the barricade aside, the spiked wall of scrap and junk singled just enough to squeeze through, Reo could seed into the stores back rooms. The inventory boxes of deliveries past were thrown open, spilled out, and crushed. Plastic bins of snacks and small goods flipped and ...more morbidly a line of bloody smears along the wall of the stock room. The lights wavered out and the brief pitch into the shadows would bathe Reo in the red dim glow of emergency lights. Walking beyond these back rooms, something crunched under his foot, snapping like dry wood. It echoed in the shadows.
