Javi grins, “He likes movies, flowers, board games.”

Kalin grumbles softly.

 

[Firestarter]

"Thank you Javi. I really appreciate the intel." Derek chuckled and gently rubbed Kalin's back. Now he understood why Kalin looked so happy when he saw Derek's home theater and game room. "Is there anything in particular that he hates such as places to go or things to do?"

Kalin growls at Javi, “No te atrevas. Te apuñalaré con tu tenedor.”

Javi lifts his hands, “Can’t help you there, I have been warned.”

 

[Firestarter]

Derek laughed and nodded. "I'll probably be getting the cold shoulder tonight for this as well." Derek could already tell Kalin was going to get him back for tonight. The amount of teasing combined with denial was going to kill Derek.

Kalin huffs, “Oh, you defiantly will, prick.” He mutters.

 

[Firestarter]

"Oh come on, is it so bad that I want to learn more about you from your family?" Derek teases.

“Yes.” He pouts petulantly.

Javi snickers softly.

 

[Firestarter]

"Why is it so bad? Don't you want me to spil you and make you happy?" Derek chuckles

Kalin goes silent, finishing his food.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and shakes his head gently while he waits for Kalin before turning to look at Cassandra and Ryan. "Thank you both, again, very much for having me over for dinner."

Ryan nods, “It’s nothing. We love knowing Kalin’s out there making conections.”

Kalin huffs and picks up his and Derek;s plates walking to the kitchen and washing them off.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles as he watches Kalin walk away. "I just hope I'm making him happy." Derek looks down at the table, wondering if his family would ever accept his new life before smiling again. "If I might ask, how did you guys come to adopt Kalin?"

Ryan smiles slightly, “Ah, well, it’s not much, but after we had Amaria and Javi, we looked for there ways. Met Kalin and fostered him, then later decided to adopt.”

 

[Firestarter]

"Thays very sweet you guys. I can tell he loves you all so much." Derek smiles back.

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Javi nods, “And then started pumping out babies left and right.”

Amaria laughs.

Casandra glares at Javi, pinching his ear.

Kalin walks back in, “Derek, you ready?”

 

[Firestarter]

"Oh, uh, yeah." Derek says, not really wanting to leave the cozy home. "Thank you again and I hope we can all do this again sometime." Derek smiles and waves goodbye before following Kalin out to the car.

Kalin loops his hands around Derek’s arm, smiling softly, “Enjoy yourself?” He walks towards the car, looking up at Derek.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles down at Kalin and opens the door to the car for Kalin to climb inside. "Your family is very sweet Kalin."

Kalin slides into the vehicle and looks at Derek, “I’m not upset, you know, I was just trying to mess with you.”

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles as he climbs into the car. "I'm glad. I just wanted to see what they would say along with learning more about you." He kisses Kalin's cheek and wraps an arm around his shoulder as they start to drive back.

Kalin laughs softly, “Javi was right though, I do love movies and games.”

 

[Firestarter]

"That explains why you looked so excited with my home theater." Derek chuckles and pulls Kalin closer. "You know you can always tell me if you want to just have date night at my place. We don't always have to go out to dinner or what not."

Kalin looks up at him smiling brightly, “Really?”

 

[Firestarter]

"of course baby. I would love nothing more than to just sit at home and hold you close while we watch a movie or even play some games together." Derek smiles warmly and cups Kalin's cheek in his hand. "So long as you're happy, I'm happy."

Kalin squeals, wiggling slightly, “Good!” He kisses Derek quickly, pulling back slightly.

 

[Firestarter]

"Oh no you don't. Get back here." Derek chuckles as he pulls Kalin closer and starts kissing him passionately.

He squeaks, kissing him back and crawling into his lip, giggling, “Derek-“

 

[Firestarter]

"Just kiss me. I was dying the entire time we were there with your family." Derek chuckles lightly before kissing Klain passionately again while wrapping one arm around his waist while cupping the other's cheek.

Kalin laughs and kisses him back, humming softly, into it.

Derek squeezes his arm around Kalin a little tighter as he slips his tongue into the other's mouth.
