Kalin lifts his hands, "What are you talking about?"

 

[Firestarter]

"Is that how you got the assistants position?! You've been sleeping with Mr. Gatemen?!" Alyssa clenches her fists, "I was supposed to be the one to become his assistant!"

Kalin blinks, "What are you talking about?" He asks dumbly.

 

[Firestarter]

"Don't play that ditsy red head act! I just heard you and him fucking in his office!" Alyssa damn near yells.

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin growls and stalks closer to her, "What Mr. Gateman and I have has nothing to do with my professional life. I got the position because I have the skills to be an assistant."

 

[Firestarter]

"You're just a liar, Kalin! You really expect me to believe that you haven't been dropping to your knees for Mr. Gatemen everytime he calls you to get where you are today?!" Alyssa grinds her teeth and crosses her arms. "Get the fuck away from me you slut!"

Kalin takes a step back, "Excuse me?!"

 

[Firestarter]

"You heard me! Now get away from my desk before I tell the whole company about you and Mr. Gatemen!" Alyssa hisses before sitting down at her desk and angrily typing away.

Kalin paled, "Alyssa--" He murmurs.

 

[Firestarter]

Alyssa glances at Kalin with an angry scowl, "What could you possible have to say to me?"

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin looks away, "I'm sorry. . ." He whispers before turning and walking ot the door.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek walks out of his office to head to his first meeting, growing concerned as he sees Kalin walking back to his desk. "Mr. Rorena? Is everything alright?"

Kalin looks up and then away, silent.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek frowns and nods before heading to his meeting. Once there he shoots Kalin a text, "Kalin, what happened? Is everything okay?"

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin looks at his phone and sighs, picking it up, Focus on the meeting.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek clenches his jaw and puts his phone away. As the day goes on, he struggles to focus on any of the meetings and continues to shoot Kalin a text at the start of each one.

Kalin sighs and sends him the same thing repeatedly, Focus on your meeting.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek growls and clenches his fist each time Kalin repeats himself. His mind fills with worry and his face drops to one of anger.

As the final meeting comes to an end, Derek waits for everyone to leave the meeting room before briskly walking back to his office. His breathing is heavy and his eyes hold a dangerous glare.

Kalin was already gone, and he sends Derek a text, Sorry. Had to go home.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek slams the door to his office and paces back and forth, trying to call Kalin's phone but only getting his voice-mail. "FUCK!"

Derek storms through the office on his way out, breathing like a mad bull as he passes Alyssa's desk, making the girl jump a little and her eyes widen.

Kalin walks home, his hands stuffed in his pockets.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek has his driver go down every street on the way to Kalin's place in hopes of finding him. He stares out the window with a worried expression while continuing to try and call Kalin. "Come on baby, pick up. Please pick up."

Kalin sighs, shoving his key into the door, answering the phone, "Yeah?"

 

[Firestarter]

"Kalin, what's going on? Why did you leave?" Derek's voice is filled with worry and sounds panicked.

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin blinks, "Oh. . . Um, I needed to see Stary."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek grits his teeth, knowing that Kalin is hiding something, "Kalin come on. I thought we agreed to not hide things and to talk stiff out. Please tell me what's wrong."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin sighs and walks inside. He picks Stary up, "Derek. . . I'm finding a different job." He mutters.

 

[Firestarter]

"WHAT?! Kalin whats going on?!" Derek panics and motions for his driver to head to Kalin's home. "Kalin, don't do this."

Kalin sighs, "Alyssa is the most influential worker. She's going to talk."

 

[Firestarter]

"What are you talking ab- wait- Alyssa heard us in my office? Is that what this is about?! What did she say?!" Derek begs.
