Kalin tip his head back, laughing, "Oh, God, babe!" He looks down at Derek, tears on his cheeks, "You scared me there for, like, half a second."

He bites his lip, "What else is there to say but yes?"

 

[Firestarter]

Derek let's out the biggest breath he has ever held and laughs a little before scooping Kalin into his arms and kissing him passionately, "I love you so much Kalin."

Kalin kisses him back, pressing close, "Pute down!" He giggles.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek laughs and spins Kalin around quickly before putting him down. Carefully taking the ring out of the box, Derek slips it onto Kalin's finger, "I had it custom made for you. I could find one as perfect as you, so I had to make it."

Kalin smiles, "It's perfect, babe." He nuzzles into Derek, "You said there would be pictures- I don't see any cameras."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and turns Kalin around, showing his entire family standing just off to the side.

Kalin groans, "Derek-! You're not supposed to invite the family to the engagement. Its the engagement party!" He teases, smiling brightly up at Derek.

Javi snickers, "Your mans totally though you would reject him there for a moment."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek laughs nervously and rubs the back of his neck while looking down, "They told me I had to invite them so they could see it."

Javi strides over, "Mama spent a whole hour lecturing him about it, Kal, don't worry."

Kalin kisses Derek's cheek, "Don't worry babe. It's amazing."

Esmeralda makes her way over, grinning, "¡Mi pequeño se va a casar!"

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and chuckles at the memory of how small Esmerelda made him feel, "I felt like a kid who had done something wrong when she was lecturing me."

Kalin laughs, "Mama has that effect." He leans into Derek, smiling softly.

Javi smirks, "Can we talk about that look on Derek's face though?"

 

[Firestarter]

"Can you really blame me? He didn't say anything or even move for a minute!" Derek laughs.

Kalin grumbles, "We've barely talked about marriage! I wasn't expecting it. . ." He huffs, crossing his arms with a pout.

Javi snickers, "You looked like your whole world was about to come crumbling down around you."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek makes a whining sound and wraps his arms around Kalin, "I'm sorry baby, I just wanted to surprise you."

Javi presses his lips together, smiling slightly.

Kalin blinks and looks up at Derek, "Oh, Babe- it was perfect, I promise. Don't look like a kicked puppy!" He reaches up, ruffling Derek's hair and kissing his cheek. "You're supposed to be my big, bad wolf!"

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and buries his face into Kalin's neck, "Then don't scare me so much. I thought I was going to lose you."

"You scared me too! I thought you were gonna break up with me for a split second!" He nuzzles close, closing his eyes. "But- lets forget it and play-"

He grins and then pushes Derek back into the water.

(I guess you can decide if he actually falls, or just stumbles back a few steps-)

Derek laughs and falls back, grabbing onto Kalin to pull him down into the water as well.

Kalin squeaks, "Derek, the sweater! The sweater!!"

 

[Firestarter]

Derek laughs and hold Kalin up just enough to prevent the water getting on the sweater, "It's not like we cant get it cleaned."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin sulks, "It's cashmere! And expensive! I don't wanna run the risk of ruining it." He grumbles, pulling the sweater off and then tossing it back, making sure it landed well out of reach to the water.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek bites his lip a little and splashes Kalin with the cold water.

Kalin squeaks, "Derek-" He covers his face and sits down in the sand, the water only coming up to his stomach. "Meanie." He grumbles

 

[Firestarter]

Derek chuckles and shakes his head as he crawls over to Kalin, "Come on baby, don't pout in front of your family."

Amaria rolls her eyes, snickering softly. "He does it all the time. He knows it'll get him whatever he wants."

"Nuh uh!" Kalin glares at her.

"Yeah, you do, otherwise, you wouldn't do it so often." Javi snarks at him.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek laughs and stands back up, pulling Kalin up by his hands, "You know I always spoil you anyways."

Kalin leans over and whispers to him, "Yeah, but I get more if I pout." He smirks, "You give me more cheese when I'm pouting versus not pouting."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek rolls his eyes and pinches Kalin's cheek, "Little brat."

Kalin laughs and nuzzles into Derek, "It's true though, and you can't deny it!"

Derek shrugs his shoulders and smiles, "Very true."
