Kalin huffs, reaching up and lightly pinching Derek's nose, "Ye who tries to stop me from cuddling with those I care about shall be grounded from the cuddles themselves." He smirks triumphantly

Derek sighs and glances at Trenton before nodding his head.

Swallowing softly, Trenton moves to the other side of the bed and sits next to Kalin.

Kalin grins, leaning her head against Derek's shoulder, closing his eyes, "You better not scare me like that again."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek nods softly and presses a kiss to Kalin's forehead. "I wont, I'm sorry."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin glances at Trenton, "Can you call Javi? Make sure he got Demi okay?" He touches the other's shoulder gently.

 

[Firestarter]

Trenton nods and quickly pulls out his phone.

Derek sighs and groans as he tries to move his shoulder a little.

Kalin squeaks, looking at Derek.

 

[Firestarter]

"I'm okay, just trying to get into get a little movement in before they trap my ass in a sling." He huffs a small laugh.

Kalin glares at him, narrowing his eyes. "They put you in a sling because it's not supposed to move, Derek."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek groans and lets his head fall back. "I know...still sucks..."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

"Don't worry, I'll give you all the love you want once you're discharged." He grins at Derek.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek smiles and chuckles softly. "Even though I was bad and get hurt when you said to be careful?"

Trenton finishes the phone call and pockets his phone. "Javi said he has Demi and that she is playing with her toys after just eating a snack. He also said Kas just barely went down for a nap."

Kalin narrows his eyes at Derek, "I know if. Few ways to punish you while still giving you love." He glances at Trenton, "Okay, thanks."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek clears his throat at Kalin's remark before nodding at Trenton.

Kalin leans into Derek, silent

 

[Firestarter]

The doctor soon returns with a sling in his hand, being surprised by the multiple people sitting on the bed and making Derek huff a laugh.

Kalin was quiet again, just holding Derek's hand.

 

[Firestarter]

After being fitted with the sling, Derek huffs and listens to the doctor's instruction. "Oh you've got to be kidding me. I have to be in this stupid thing for two months?"

Kalin plays with Derek's fingers absently as the doctor nods.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek huffs and reluctantly agrees to follow the doctor's orders before sending Trenton to handle the discharge paperwork. "Well shit...how am I supposed to work out?"

Kalin glares at him, "That's what you're worried about?"

 

[Firestarter]

Derek frowns at Kalin, "But..."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

Kalin huffs at him, "You'll be fine." He scoots off the bed. "Working out isn't as important as your health. And you're not going to work for a few days either.

 

[Firestarter]

Derek lets out a heavy breath and rubs his free hand down his face. "Dammit...."

Kalin crosses his arms. "What?"

 

[Firestarter]

"I'm going to fucking useless until this stupid sling is off."

Kalin sighs, "Babe. . . You won't be useless. . ."

 

[Firestarter]

Derek huffs, "I won't even be able to hold Kas easily or feed him..."

 

[RhysTheFirebird]

"I'll do it." Kalin crosses his arms

 

[Firestarter]

"I know you will but what about me?" Derek pouts, being used to being the muscle man.
