He grinned as he looked into her eyes, licking his lips "I know you aren't... But if your condition gets worse because you won't stop working..." He sighed, losing the smile as his concerns overtook him.

"I know how to take my time!" She said pulling at him,dragging him up to her. "I only did 60 squats with you on my shoulders, I could have done a hundred."

Markus huffed back as she dragged him up, meeting her eyes "Okay, that's great. And what if Squat number 99 did some more damage, because you overestimated your abilties?" He snapped, before his eyes went wide "I... didn't meant to... sound like that."

"No. You did." She said letting him go. "You think that I'm some delicate like Skitty-" she said shaking her head as she pushed passed him. "I can't fucking believe this!"

He blinked and grabbed her arm as she pushed past "No! You aren't, I know that... but... Fucks sakes, I care about you. I know you're tougher than pretty much any other 'Mon I've met, but you aren't invincible. You aren't fragile, I know that... But you got fucked up because we argued before. If we'd worked as a team, we could've easily beaten that Gym without any stress. Instead, we squabbled and you ended up in the Pokecenter because of me. Because I failed to be a good teammate, failed to give you the respect you deserve."

She swung her arm, snatching herself from his hold, but she stood still while he spoke to her. "I got hurt because I got myself blasted. Even if we didn't have that fight, I would have taken that risk."

Markus sighed as she replied to him "I... I know. But... it just feels... better to me, if I can blame myself for you getting hurt..." He shrugged "I dont... know how to explain it, I just... fuck it" He grabbed her and planted a kiss onto her lips "Bonnie... I think I love you"

As he grabbed her again, she started to struggle for a moment before he moved it, forcing his kiss on her. "Dammit Markus, not ever-" she started to retort but his revelation made her flush. "You-you what- !"

“You heard…” he spoke bluntly, his face bright red as he looked into her eyes “I… I think I love you, Bonnie. You’re tough, hot… fuck, everything about you makes me… I don’t even know how to put it into words”

"Markus- we've only really just met, don't think that-" she said as she got redder the harder he spilled his guts. "You can't really love me- you don't even know much else-"

Markus went still at her words, taking a breath before speaking again “I do love you. I do, Bonnie.” He repeated, moving to cut her off with another kiss to her flushed face, pressing his tongue into her mouth.

Bonnie held onto his shoulders as he drove another kiss on her lips, miffling a moan around his tongue.

Markus heard her muffled moan, caught between their lips as he moved to embrace her, holding her close as he kept the kiss tight, until he had to break away to breathe.

"What do you- think- your doing-" she said as she thumped him In the chest with her fist. "You- idiot-"

Markus grunted as she slugged him in the chest, taking a step back “Argh! The fuck Bonnie?!” He complained in reaction, staring at her.

The fire type couldn't help herself, the second he backed away, she skirted around him, stalking away from him quickly. "You need to think about what you say-!" She said thrusting a finger at him. "Now-i have to deal with that while we have a match today!"

“Don’t… don’t go… I… I’m sorry, Bonnie. I just… I couldn’t keep it… from you.” He tried to call out to her, but his voice failed, going quiet.

As he tried to call out to her, catching some looks in the street, mostly sympathy from those that recognized this situation...the mon would be left alone. She had only a few places to go...abd it was still too early to go fi the gym.

Markus scuffed his foot, before walking to the hotel, shaking his head the entire way back.

As he hit the hotel, he heard the bathroom shower running...Bonnie's back open, her workout clothes tossed on the floor.

Markus sat on the floor, shaking his head as he waited for her to leave the Shower, still trying to figure out what to say, what to do to prove his honesty.

The shower would run and run....minutes would tick by....10...20...Bonnie still wouldn't come out.

He bit his lip, before standing up and walking over to the door, placing an ear against it and listening quietly, trying to hear if she was talking to herself...

As he listened in he heard the shower running...and some soft mumbling...hard to make out , but also some thuds. Eventually he could make out the mumbles. "Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.-"

He continued to listen, but as he tried to lean closer, he ended up putting his hand on the handle, opening the door and shoving it open, falling in and onto the floor with a thud "Ow..."

Bonnie jumped as sge heard him tumbling inti the room, spinning around...not covering her body but raising her fists. Some unlucky robber wouldn't see her cower even in her birthday suit. But seeing Markus she sighed. "....you peeping or something Markus?" She said lowering her hands

“No! I… just got worried, so I listened at the door and fell in when I slipped on the handle!” He retorted, shaking his head at her accusations.

She grunted as she stepped out of the shower, a red mark on her head...likely from hitting it against the wall. "What did you want ti know '

He looked up at her head as he stood up, frowning “Bonnie, what did you do? I heard the thuds, but… I assumed it was you punching the wall…” he reached out towards the red mark, wanting to check it.

"I'm fine." She said as he reached out, grabbing his wrist. 'I have a hard head." She said as she gently pushed it aside.
