Stained Purity (Crow)

Like two sides of a magnet, they were being drawn together by this blood bond they had. It would only be solidified though if he drank from her next. Until then…nothing could be certain.

A few weeks had passed since that night and unfortunately Lucian was away for a few days on a business trip and Cassandra was left at his coven with his subordinates. She still wasn’t aware of how Lucian felt for her and he had promised that they would figure this bond out together as he still didn’t want to subject her to that fate if she didn’t want to, but perhaps he was just as oblivious to how she felt.

She was out in their garden and had felt someone’s eyes on her but was unaware of what they had in mind. She soon was pinned against one of the stone pillars of the garden and let out a soft squeak as the man, who was infected with some virus that had begun to spread through Lucian’s coven..went to attack her.

Currently the only unknown cure for it was blood bonded mates, but this man unfortunately didn’t have one but he made a slur of words, “Mm. Your- blood…will heal-“ he figured blood would heal him like it normally did but she was no human.

 

[Crow]

Lucian hurried back sooner then expected as he could feel agitation all of a sudden. He knew that this was part of the bond and that something was wrong with her but was worried he would not make it in time.

In fact it would not be Lucian who saved her but one of his close servants. The man would throw the vampire off of her and shout at him :What are you doing? Dont you know that this is master Lucian's mate?"

 

[FaeWhisperer]

The vampire’s eyes were wild, he looked around and he growled, going to attack the servant next.

Cassandra was startled as the servant saved her, but as the man attacked the servant she cried out a “No!” She wouldn’t let someone get hurt on her behalf. She didn’t even register that the servant had called her Lucian’s mate.

(Perhaps Lucian gets injured somehow and has to drink Cassandra’s blood, only further solidifying their bond?)

 

[Crow]

There would be a flash of movement followed by the splash of blood as the warlock appeared between them causing the vampires flaws to pierce a hole straight through his chest. the vampire would be apprehended by others as Lucian falls into the ground coughing up blood

 

[FaeWhisperer]

A scream would pierce the air, Cassandra’s voice cried out Lucian’s name.

“Lucian!!!”

She rushed over to him, cradling his form, her eyes full of worry as she saw the wound. “Lucian-“ she breathed out his name again, her thoughts running through her head and she went to bite on her wrist, putting her bleeding wrist onto his lips, begging him to drink with her pleading voice.

The vampire who attacked was thrashing around but suddenly was knocked out by vervain- a herb toxic to vampires like wolfsbane. He would be put in a cellar and studied due to the virus he carried.

 

[Crow]

Lucian would smell the blood and his eyes would turn color as he latches onto her wrist feasting on her blood uncontrollably, her blood tasted ssweeter than any he ever had before. He would pull away panting and breathing heavily "W..what happened?

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She felt him begin to feast on her blood and she touched his head with her hand, closing her eyes.

When he pulled back and asked, she looked around. “This…man was uncontrollable with something plaguing him…and he hurt you in the process,” she spoke, “you saved both me and that servant-“ she paused, her eyes filling with rage. “You could have died!!” She scolded him, tears filling her eyes. “I can’t lose you!”

 

[Crow]

He would let her yell and scold at him and suddenlt he would pull her into a kiss partially to shut her up

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She gave a muffled gasp of surprise, and pulled away after a moment. “Don’t…don’t think a kiss will get you out of this!” She said but he could tell she was flustered.

 

[Crow]

He would smile before sitting up weakly "well it has gotten me out of it for now"

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She watched him sit up weakly and she bit her lip, offering her wrist again to him. “please Lucian…drink more,” she begged.

 

[Crow]

He would nod taking her wrist and sinking his fangs into it drinking more of her blood. the taste of it was intoxicating as if he was getting drunk. "MMM:

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She touched his head gently as he drank from her, she gave a small wince as he was more painful than she’d cared to admit. But she wanted him to heal-

He began to take a bit more blood than she expected and her head began to spin. She swayed a little. “L-Lucian-“ she still technically was a fledgling and would have ti get used to her mate drinking from her- n but she wasn’t even aware she was considered Lucian’s mate.

 

[Crow]

Lucian would realize he was getting carried away when she said his name and would pull away. "I am sorry, it had been a while since I have fed from a living thing"

 

[FaeWhisperer]

Lucian would see her fall against him, panting softly and closing her eyes. “As long as you’re healed..” she murmured out softly.

 

[Crow]

Lucian would support her as he felt his strength returning "you really did not have to do that I could have found other sources of blood"

 

[FaeWhisperer]

“I don’t care Lucian-“ she murmured out but he could see she was holding on a thread to keep herself awake. “I wanted to,” she reminded him next, it was then he would know he needed to get a servant for her to feed on.

 

[Crow]

He would quickly wave to a servant who would come up to her and over her their wrist "well now you need to replenish your own blood. I would offer but then we would never stop feeding the other"

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She nodded and took the servant’s wrist, biting down and drinking heavily. She took a moment and pulled back, giving a soft sigh of relief as her strength returned. “Thank you,” she murmured out to Lucian.

 

[Crow]

"your welcome. The transition is ahead but soon you will feel powerful" he says as he starts to lead her to her room to regain her strength

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She nodded and followed him to her room and she settled into the bed, looking at him. “Thank you again, Lucian..”

 

[Crow]

"still want me to stay in here with you?" He asks partially hoping she would say yes

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She nodded and reached for his hand. “Please,” she begged of him.

 

[Crow]

He would take her hand in his and lay down next to her. He was friends with her for years but this was their first time this close together because he was afraid of her noticing what he was

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She laid with him, her eyes locked on his. “Lucian…answer me truthfully,” she murmured softly.. “Are we considered mates?”

 

[Crow]

He would nod without hesitation "yes. I didn't want to alarm you but that is true. And since we live forever we tend to mate for life"

 

[FaeWhisperer]

A little blush couldn’t help but rise on her cheeks. “What do you feel for me then?” She asked him next, worried about what he would say.

 

[Crow]

"if I am being honest i have had an attraction to you for years" he says looking at her and her body.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She blinked at his confession. “Is that why you also kissed me earlier?” She asked him shyly.

 

[Crow]

"I may not have been thinking clearly then what with the blood loss and all" he looked away in an attempt to hide the blush in his face. It was not vampire like for him to show such embarassment
