She laughs softly and shakes her head, “Too bad you couldn’t have gotten a servant to take care of that,” she teased him again, moving to shift and get out of the tub. She had wished she could have stayed longer, but- she knew he wanted to stay in the tub by himself for a bit longer and she wasn’t going to deny him that. She grabbed a towel and began to dry herself off. She wrapped it around herself and then hearing his words about her medicine she gave a soft sigh, “Alright, I won’t..” she tells him, and exits the bathroom, going to put on what undergarments she had, and she looked at her other dress that had been taken off of her. She sighed and went ahead to put one of Adonis’ robes on, before she left the room. Adonis would hear the door close, and he was alone.
It wasn’t until she was in her room, when someone approached her and pinned her against the wall. She gasped out suddenly and she looked at who pinned her, and she saw two purple serpent like irises staring back at her. Who..who was this man?!
She could feel the breeze coming from the window..he must have came in that way.
He hissed lowly in her ear, “Princesssss..I’ve been looking for you—“ his forked tongue came out and licked the bottom lobe, and it made her shudder in fear. “Wh-Who are you?!” She managed to get out with a trembling voice. And he leaned back, his dark hair falling into his face slightly, “Me? I’m the knight who’s come to rescue you from this wretched human place..” he says and smirked a little, loving to see her tremble, it made his taking all the more easier.
She watched as that man in front of her shifted to look like a servant and she had her jaw drop slightly.
“now then..let’s get you dressed..and then I’ll escort you out..” The now woman said and her menacing smile made Astraea’s skin crawl. But Astraea knew she shouldn’t run, so she complied, and let the shifter change her— although the shifter did grope and touch her in places they really shouldn’t have..once she was done, she looked at the shifter and he shifted to one of the familiar guards she had seen. “Now..come with me, I’ll escort you out of the palace and you’ll go on a horse ride with the king..”he speaks and grabbed her arm rather forcefully, and she gave out a soft cry of pain, but didn’t know what to do- she couldn’t get anyone’s attention, as they saw nothing wrong with this.
Down at the stables, the king wasn’t there..she knew he wouldn’t, because he was still in his chambers. She looked to the knight who then shifted back to that mysterious man again, and he looked to the horses. “Pick a horse..” he commands her and she obeyed, her mind racing. What..was going to happen? Would Adonis..find her?!
