The Human Princess and her Werewolf Knight (Dream)

She appreciated his help, and leaned back a little with a soft sigh while he cleaned her off. "Mm..I feel like that I'm getting used to pack life," she said to him, honestly feeling like this is where she belonged now, rather than cooped up in her room.

Finishing up with a hum, he rose to his feet to set the cloth aside. "I am glad to hear that," she reassured, to say the least, knowing how uncertain and spooked she was at first; luckily, he was here to help her. "Now let us go eat" holding out his hand for her to take. "You get the first bite since you are probably expecting already," smiling toward her.

She took his hand and she blushed a little at his words. "Mm.. probably, but, still won't know for certain.." she tells him next with a small smile.

Gently gripping her hand, pulling her to her feet "I know but I hold out hope" chuckling in a nervous fashion. Leading her out of the den Lyall greets fellow pack mates with hs charming smile as they head toward the dining hall where many were already settling in for dinner.

(they..live in the forest as a pack, sleep in caves/dens..and have a dining hall? XD)

Dining hall as in a large communal den area where they store and prepare food, not an actual hall haha)

The dining hall was a bit different from what she was used to, a large den able to acommodate a lot of their pack, and as she walked in, a lot of eyes turned to look at her briefly.

He was walking with his hand holding hers, slightly remaining before her as they made their way to the head of the large table set with food. "Let me know if you feel nervous at any time," he whispered to her as he pulled out a chair for her to take a seat.

She sat down and nodded to what he told her and she then looked at the food. "Wow..this..this is so much," she spoke, knowing that she had added to the fresh kill pile for everyday..where did they get all of this food?

Pushing her chair under the table, he also sat beside her. "Yes, well, some have been stored for some time while many meals can be created out of a large animal," he explained to her. "I like to have community meals every so often to remain balanced and informed with my people, hear stories and concerns of their daily life," dishing her then himself some food. "tomorrow it will just be the two of us," reassuring her with his charming smile.

"You don't secretly have a castle stowed away from somewhere do you?" she teased him a little with a small smirk on her face, thanking him for the food and then waited to start eating.

Her joke gave a shake of his head, his focus primarily on others dishing plates before everyone was prepared with food on their plates and in their seats. He rose up with a cup in hand. "Thank you for all you do in service the pack, protecting us, feeding us, and keeping us clean and healthy; enjoy this feast" lifting his cup with a dip of his head before he sat again. Instantly, the pack clapped before eating. Leaning over he offers his mate a kiss on the cheek. "I love you," he whispers in her ear.

Cass clapped along with the pack, toasting with them and drinking out of her cup slowly. She then blushed lightly at Lyall’s gesture and then she began to flush more at his words. She looked to him with a shy glance, “I love you too..” she told him softly.

Returning her shy glance with a charming smile, Lyall began eating his dinner with glee. It was over an hour before the pack started cleaning up, putting away any food to be stored and throwing away the rest as scrapes to the forest. Lyall would rise from his chair to gather his plate and Cass to take to the washing station, returning to her side quickly. "Would you like a night stroll before bed?" offering his hand out to her.

She began to wag her tail lightly as he suggested a walk and she nodded, "I'd love that," she tells him next, obviously eager to go.

Leading her out he would shift into his canine form, trotting out of the camp to a trail hidden off to the side of the entrance by thick vines "Follow me" he whispered to her. His tail would run under her chin as an easy guide for her as he pushed his way through the vines. Once exiting the trail would be lit by the moon, he would pause to wait for her, wagging his tail with excitement of showing her more of his home.

Cass followed him, also shifting into her canine form- padding along and shortly coming up next to his side. She brushed up against his pelt and looked around. “Where will you take me?” She asked curiously.
