Lily enjoyed their walk to the ice cream shop, getting herself a simple chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup she looked at Damian when he paused in eating his, she was about to ask him if he was okay but stopped when he asked her if she minded if she dripped a little of her blood onto his ice cream for syrup she laughed softly and nodded her head. “I think I can do that for you” she said with a smile as she moved her ice cream to her right hand so she could hold her left wrist up for him, “Help yourself” Lily laughed lightly. She did not mind indulging his request if it meant he could enjoy his ice cream as well.
Being quiet for a moment Lily looked at him before she leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek, “This has been the best date I’ve ever been on” Lily said honestly, “Thank you” she said softly smiling before she turned her attention back to her ice cream. Any other date she had ever been on Lily knew would never live up to the night she was having with Damian, “I hope you don’t plan on just having your dessert and leaving when we get back to my place” she said teasingly. She wanted him to stay with her, and she knew since he was such a gentleman he wouldn’t run out on her after he got what he wanted.
“I don’t think I am ever going to get over the fact that you chose me, out of anyone you could have, you went for the failed ‘purist’” she said with a small laugh, if he had been any other vampire Lily knew he would have left as soon as she told him what she had grown up to believe. But Lily had never fit in with a church, she had always found vampires to be so fascinating and had often been told growing up that she would burn in hell for even thinking of them. She knew if her family could see her now they would be horrified of how she was living her life, in love with a vampire.
