She did exactly as he hoped, taking his hand gently and giving it a little squeeze before they stood up, both heading to clean together.

As the shower turned on and then they both were underneath it’s warm water, he began washing her gently, his hands and movements gentle enough to where he’d hope she wouldn’t be afraid of him.

He raised an eyebrow and looked down at her, “Is everything alright?” He asked softly, hoping it was.

She nodded, even as she held the towel up and headed out towards the living room. When she got there, she curled up onto the couch and replaced the towel with a blanket "You gonna go back to playing with your friends?" She asked softly, but it wasn't anything of malice. She was just genuinely curious. She wouldn't mind what he said.

“Mm…in a bit,” he said and went to join her on the couch. “Can…can we cuddle a bit before then?” He asked a bit shyly.

She opened up the blanket to him, nodding to his words "Mhm... We can." She replied, snuggling into him the moment he was underneath it, sharing their warmth as they pressed their nude forms into each other.

He laid down on the couch, letting her lay on top of him. He rubbed her back gently, and his eyes were closed. “I promise-“ he began, and he gave a soft breath, “the next time I see Lance, his head will roll-“ he still wanted to kill the man who had hurt her, no matter what it took.

"Ju... Just... Don't say... his name." She replied softly, moving her body a little, so they were closer, her head resting against his so his lips were next to her ear.

“I’ll kill him,” he whispered into her ear, and she couldn’t help get a bit of excitement for how he spoke- avenging her…it was hotter than she’d realize. His arms were wrapped around her, “For you, I’d kill anyone,” for a villain to say that…yeah, it was pretty much a ‘I love you’ moment.

She gave another soft squirm, biting her lip "You... You mean it?" She asked him softly, before nuzzling him closely "I'd... I'd do the same for you." She replied, her chest pressing into his tightly.

He kept her close, feeling her chest against his.. he couldn’t help but give a soft moan at how soft she was. “Chay…” he began, kissing the top of her head, “I love you,” he murmured out loud finally.

She blushed, her face going red as he flat out said it, even as she hid that blush by burying her face into his chest with a cute little gasp, her grip on him tightening. If he wasn't a super, he would've had at least a cracked rib at this point.

He let her hide her face, and he gave a small little smile, feeling her squeeze. He hummed softly and leaned his head back to look up at the ceiling.

She lessened her grip, just lying against him as she slowly began to drift off to sleep, ending up snoring cutely.

When she would wake, she’d find herself in the bed, Zach’s arms around her. He was asleep still, snoring softly.

Chayot rubbed her eyes and went to move from his arms, before realizing how cold it was out of the blanket and immediately snuggling back into him, sharing his warmth.

He stirred as she came back to cuddle him, and he murmured out something. “Mm- Chayot..?” He began to blink awake, yawning slightly.

Chayot curled up into him, pressing herself tightly to him "Mmm... Zach..." She murmured softly "So warm... It's nice..."

He stirred a bit more, holding her as he woke up further. “And you’re so…soft,” he murmured half asleep.

Chayot smiled as she listened to his voice, placing her head onto his chest and listening to his heartbeat, her soft body rubbing into his.
