“Mm..it’s something I want to tell you in private first,” she murmured out lowly, she swayed with him, knowing she wanted to tell him first before everyone else, and Naomi wouldn’t tell anyone either.

"Hopefully it's not anything bad." Adonis says with a soft kiss to her cheek before releasing her. He then moved to her side and extended a hand. "If you don't mind, would you grace me with a dance?" He asks with a sweet smile.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She smiled to him and Astraea took his hand, “Of course,” she agreed. They headed to the main dance floor and began to dance to the music.

They were near the middle of the floor as their steps became a dance. Still holding on hand, Adonis held the small of her back as they dance. "You truly looked beautiful tonight my love." He whispers to her.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She blushed a bit from his words as her feet seemed to move on their own. “Thank you my love,” she said softly. “And you looked very handsome tonight as well,” she tells him happily.

"Thank you. This was actually my father's." Adonis comments softly as he guides them into a turn. "A little tight but I wanted to wear it." He adds with a soft chuckle.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

He would see her laugh softly, and she shook her head, “Mm.. I think it fits perfectly,” she tells him now, turning a little as he moved to do so. She then came closer, “Either way, you do look very handsome,” she says happily.

Adonis let out a soft laugh as he leaned down to her ear. "You should see the under shirt, love." He chuckles. "It's fighting for it's life." His voice was light and airy.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She laughed softly, “Well, let’s head back to our room then soon, so you can take it off,” she tells him, even as they continued to dance, she heard the music start to come to an end.

Once it did their dance followed suit. "Oh? Are you flirting with me?" Adonis says playfully, shifting the hand that wasn't on her back to her waist.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She gave a shy glance and nodded slightly, “Perhaps,” she said playfully, “Plus,” she murmured out lowly, “My corset is..tight.. I think I would love for you to take it off of me,” she tells him now.

Adonis hums lowly, a small smirk on his lips. "Watch your words love. I might just steal you for the rest of the night and have you to myself." He whispers lowly

 

[FaeWhisperer]

“Mm..I think I wouldn’t mind that,” she tells him now, giving a soft smirk following her words. She was already getting restless, she wanted to go back to her nest.

Adonis chuckles before kissing her forehead. "Let me say my goodbyes and then we can go." He states as he let's go of her waist and walks away fully intent of making his goodbyes fast.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She nodded after him and went to go make her goodbyes next, everyone was congratulating her, and she was very happy for their compliments. She then said goodbye to her father and told him she would see him later. He kissed her on her forehead, before he saw Adonis come back over.

Adonis smiled as Lionel as he stepped up beside them, placing a hand on the small of her back. "Sorry to interrupt but I'm taking your daughter." He says with a playful smile at Lionel.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

Lionel gave out a chuckle, “I understand, I mean, she is your wife now,” he joked back and Astraea that was there she rolled her eyes slightly, “Oh you two..” she murmured out with a soft laugh that followed.

Adonis chuckled along side the man before giving him a soft wave as he begins to lead Astraea away. "Let us have our fun.." He hums in her ear kissing the shell of it.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She gave a faint blush from his words and actions and she nodded to him, walking with him to their room. The echoes of the party dying down further. Once in their room, she turned to him. “Will you undress me now?” She asked of him.

Adonis let out a small affirmative hum as his hands moved to her back. He leaned in and kissed her, his fingers working with the strings of the corset

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She kissed him back in return, loving the gesture. Once her corset was off fully, she leaned back from his kiss. “Thank you..” she murmured out, as she began to undress herself further. Once she was fully nude, he would see her shift back into her more dragon like form, her wings outstretching slightly as she stretched them. He would then see that bump on her stomach again— and as she turned to face him she happily swung her tail. “So..about what I wanted to tell you,” she began, wondering if Adonis would be interested..

 

[Kkjib]

Adonis let out a small 'oh?' As he wrapped one arm around her waist the other at the base of her wings. "You did want to tell me something, are you going to finally let me in on the secret."

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She nodded to him and smiled happily, “I will,” she tells him, and leans to his ear, “so I talked to Naomi about..well, this—“ she took his hand and placed it on her rounded belly. “Apparently I’m expecting,” she murmured out to him, waiting for him to respond.

Adonis looked at her with a blank smile. Her words not registering just yet. A few milliseconds passed before he blinked at her. "Expecting?.. as in" He trails off as he looks down at her stomach, his thumb subconsciously rubbing circles into her skin.

His gaze rose as a shaky smile graced his lips and his eyes became watery. "You're pregnant?" He whispers.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She nodded and began to smile more with him, “Yes!” She confirmed, and she touched his hand with hers. “Come lay with me, and listen,” she tells him, motioning to the bed. She wanted him to listen to her stomach and to hear the heartbeats.

He let out and affirmative 'hm' as he followed her to the bed. When she sat on the edge Adonis kneeled infront of her and gently pressed a kiss to her stomach. After the soft show of affection he shifted his head and pressed his cheek as well as hos ear against her.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

He would be able to hear twin heartbeats, and she watched him with a happy gaze as his listened to them. "Do you hear them?" she asked, waiting patiently.

Adonis let out a shaky breath as he kept his ear pressed onto her stomach. "I..." He tries to speak but his voice just seems to trail off almost like he didn't know what to say. A smile pulled at his lips as he simply closed his eyes and reveled in the heartbeats.

 

[FaeWhisperer]

She waited a few moments longer for him to continue to listen before she said, "I feel as if this will be a live birth," which in dragon speaking terms, was a very rare occasion indeed. But, she would most likely have to be at least halfway transformed to make sure the birthing process went a bit smoother.

Adonis hummed lowly as he pressed his hand against her stomach and softly pressed his lips to her skin. "That's rare right?" He asks softly his eyes opening to look up at her.
