She looked to him and gave a sad smile, “Y-Yeah.. but then you—“ she was talking about when he got that bitch of a girlfriend, who eventually infected her in the end.
Reyes closed his eyes at the feeling of her hands on his head. "That you needed to heal. That it would be better for us to not be like that." He awnsers.
She gave a soft sigh, and closed her eyes as well. “That doesn’t matter now,” she tells him next, “we’re here now. Together.. okay?” She said, and shivered lightly. “I just..want to be your mate, before..” before it was too late for her- she didn’t know if the cure would even help her. She was worried.
Reyes looks up at her with a happy puppy like look before it falls softly. "Dont... don't think about that. The cure will work, it has too." He states.
She nodded softly, laying her head back on the pillow more. “If you think it will.. I trust..you,” she murmured out softly, sleep was overtaking her now. She felt so tired from this.
Reyes smiles up at her leaning up from her body and shifting to move to the side of the bed. "You look sleepy, get some rest." He comments as he stands up and fixes himself up before tugging the covers over her body.
She didn’t have to be told twice, and she was off to sleep. When she had woke, she was now in Reyes’ room. She rubbed her eyes slowly, and looked around, “Reyes?” She called out his name.
He wasn't there but it wasn't long until he stepped in with a sigh, rolling his shoulder. He looked up and smiled. "Zaria. Your awake." Reyes exclaims with a wide smile making a beeline to his bed.
“Mm..when..did I get moved?” She asked, feeling her stomach rumble slightly. She yawned and rubbed at her eyes again. She felt comforted by his presence. She saw another serum injector in his hand.
"When you were asleep. I asked and they allowed it." He awnsers. "Only thing is that I'm gonna be the one to inject these now." He adds as he holds up the injector.
She nodded and held out her arm for him. “I see,” she murmured out softly, “after.. do you think I could feed again?” She asked him, wondering if he would let her. She didn’t want to hurt him too much though.
Reyes blinked and then chuckled placing a hand on his own cheek. "Am I really that good? Geez, I never thought I'd be addicting." He says playfully, a wide cheeky smile placed on his lips.
She blushed faintly and glanced away, “I- well.. you know the blood bags aren’t.. good..” she was rightful to be wary. She didn’t want to go back through that again.
"Just admit it." Reyes hums as he moves to her side, pressing the injector into her arm and pressing down letting the serum go into her. "I'm your favorite meal." His smale is wide and still cheeky.
Her light blush somehow only got deeper. “N-No.. I just don’t..trust anything else but you,” she admitted to him now. She watched the serum be injected into her, and she gave a soft sigh of relief.
She gave a slight puff of her cheeks, “Fine,” she murmured out. “I do enjoy how you taste,” she tells him, “But I still want you to know I don’t trust the blood bags anymore,” she reminded now.
He chuckled softly. "Justified." He mumbles curtly before leaning in and tilting his head exposing his neck. A hand moved up and pulled the collar of Reyes's shirt down to give more space.
She moved towards him and began to sink her fangs into his neck without any hesitation. Closing her eyes, Zaria moaned out softly at the taste of his blood, only drinking what she needed from him.
She moved away after a few moments and let out a satisfied breath. “Thank you,” she murmured out, wiping her lips with her tongue. She looked to him with a soft blush dusting her pale cheeks.
She let him come close and she held onto him slightly, “Reyes I..I want you to know that I do love you, okay?” She murmured out softly, not sure if she had mentioned that before, but then again her brain wasn’t all the best at the moment due to the infection.
Reyes chuckled softly. "Ok?" He drags out. "I love you too.. I don't think I've ever doubted your love for me.." He adds with a playful squeeze to her side.
Reyes gave her a soft conent look. "Even if you don't say it." He then gently kisses her nose. "Your actions show well enough... and through the years I've known you I can confidently say that I can somewhat read your actions." He adds with a wide smile.
She looked a bit embarrassed for that, but she wasn't complaining or arguing with his words. "Well..It's probably good to be a mind reader then?" she began with next, giving him a soft smirk, knowing some boyfriends always said to their girlfriends that they weren't 'mind readers'.
Reyes poked his tongue out at her with a 'bleh' sound accompanying it. "What ever you say, I can just read people. I'm not a mind reader." He huffs softly, a smile stretching at the corners of his lips.
